Those who believe the Gospel is offensive and private... don't have a clue who Christ is or why He gave up His deity to become a man. I would suggest anyone who believes Christians are to hide their faith under a basket, keeping it to themselves thump the Holy Bible now and then. Preferably before making ignorant comments regarding the Word of God. Just in case one doesn't know, one's faith in God is not private. He with an ear to hear let him hear that... our faith is NOT PRIVATE.
Jesus's last words on Earth are found in Mark 16 they are as follows...
" And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned... Political correctness and the WOK policies of the left are designed to silence the Gospel of Christ... However, we are not inclinded to be silent concerning the Word of God at the command of men. Obeying God is of utmost importance to every Christian, for our lives are from God. God provides us with our daily needs and leads us in the ways of righteousness if we obey Him. His love for us is immeasurable. It is only right and proper to obey God. It is said in Act 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Most of us are all familiar with this verse, but the pressures of society... WOK and Political correctness... cause many professing Christians to obey the words of man, over God.
Because many in America have deviated from obeying God's Word... America has put itself in a place where God's providence is unable to intervene... When Christians are silent in the presence of evil, or worse become complicit with evil, every evil work is found. For evil to prosper, good men need only to do nothing. We must not be silent regarding God's Word.

Beautifully said, Col. The silence of Christians is a witness to the world of either cowardice or shame. We are to witness. From the political / governmental perspective, silence gave America Roe v Wade. Silence gave us Obergefell. Silence gave us the revised Title VII, which then opened the doors of sin wide open for what we see now, sexualization of our little ones and blatant, brazen anti-God perverted behavior in the classroom by teachers. The church has not learned how to open their collective mouths and say no to govco. Personally and publically, if we confess Him not, He confesses us not. It is what we were born again for. Confessing Him not (publically) has destroyed this country. My opinion.
Brought about by one of our two (as far as I know) most racist presidents, LBJ and Wilson. Johnson did that, paying more to black women if they had no husband and father to b the kids in the home. He even bragged about it.
Marlene, I agree, there are people who are so "self-righteous" that they do harm rather than good for the kingdom!!!!! I will point out what is good and bad, right and wrong from my understanding of Scripture and some don't like it because they see themselves on the wrong side and attack me rather than correct themselves. Liberals are the ones most "offended" by Scripture references!!!!!!!!!
Actually Liberals are "offended" by anything that is not.... Liberal! But Historically that is not even safe and as seen recently, as they'll get upset with anything thats not Liberal enough too!
Yup, too many assume they know everything about he Bible and preach to others about them not doing it right. They get into arguments, they criticize, belittle whoever sees things a bit different, tell them they will go to hell, call them names, etc. Some of the same people then turn around and get vile with others, they mock them, make fun of whatever they can about them, and in the same breath boast about their own Christianity.
You are right, health, religion, and sex should be a private matter and nobody else's business how anyone goes about any of it! If I want to hear a sermon I go to church, and I don't need anyone quoting the Bible to me, I know how to read, and have several bibles in several languages, it is interesting to see how accurate the translations are into different languages! In the end we will all find out if there is only one way or if God is more open minded than most of us!
