These sorts of disconnects in social understanding are what happens when one allows liberal dogma, taught in the Public Schools, to replace the mainstream moral and social standards of the majority. This sort of conduct reminds me of Paul's warning to Timothy in 2Timothy 3:12-13:
" Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
Earlier in the same epistle to Timothy, Paul made a significant prophetic statement as follows:
" This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. The Gospel of Matthew in Mathew 24:22 (NKJV) warns us about such men and society in general saying:
"And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened." (Mat 24:22) AND "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other..." (Matthew 24:10)
Believers in Jesus Christ need to take heed of these warningsas... 'that time' is upon us and many shall fall away, under the seduction of evil men. The 'Last Days' are those days, in time, just prior to the removal of the Church from the Earth, before Great Tribulation descends upon mankind; unlike any before it. So great, is the tribulation, that the kings of the Earth call for the mountains to cover them. To hide them.
The Spirit explicitly says that in the last days some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the doctrines of demons. We are God's witnesses to such events... And, as Christians, we are to stand against the works of the ungodly. We are to resist the Devil that he may flee.
