According to unnamed US official via Axios, Trump blindsided Zelensky with this deal with Putin, after Zelensky ignored half a dozen requests to stop hitting Russian oil refineries. Zelensky has been sabotaging global oil markets, which is damaging Trump’s optics in the midterms, Trump told Zelensky to stop, Zelensky ignored Trump, so Trump went over the top of Zelensky and made a deal with Putin for diesel, thus deterring Zelensky from attacking the refineries and hurting global oil prices. Zelensky is pissed Trump made a deal with Putin, and apparently Zelensky is “eroding the good will he has built up with Trump over the last six months”. Zelensky has gone rogue, and is using his military to damage Trump’s optics heading into the midterms, as part of the Deep State’s broader plot to remove Trump. I’m not sure what this means for Zelensky and Ukraine, but they have pissed off Trump. Not a great position to be in.

Naturally he's pissed off, he wants us to take sides.....his side! We must do what's best for America, and that doesn't mean we don't care about the people of Ukraine!
Russia is clearly closer aligned with the USA than the renegade Ukraine is. I'm grateful for President Trump for making this obvious.
Ukraine isn't the bad guy in this war....it is Putin, he started it with Crimea, and isn't satisfied until he takes the entire country! If he only wanted the area where the Russians live, he wouldn't be bombing far away places, he will not be happpy until he wipes out all Ukrainians, Stalin did it by starving 7 million of them, Putin is looking to finish the job because he wants the land. This is coming from the people of Ukraine in Ukraine....not their government, the people!
Ilona, I'm pretty sure that President Trump would not make a deal with Putin if what you say was right. He has insights far beyond you and me. I'm also certain he takes all facts into consideration.
BS Paul, Trump will make a deal with anyone as long as he thinks it will benefit the US. But of course you see this as Trump knows everything better than anyone, there's not a smarter man on earth than he! You believe whatever you want, we will see in the end if the people who are living this misery know less than a foreign leader thousands of miles away, and frankly it's not Trump's job to give a damn about the people of Russia or Ukraine, it's their business not ours.
Don't get me wrong, I don't care that Trump made a deal with Putin, we are not obligated either to Russia nor the Ukraine, his obligation is to the people of the United States, but facts are still facts, they will present themselves even to you......eventually. BTW, Nobody has ALL the facts!
