Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I'm at our summer place right now, which is pretty much as you describe your town. I love it!!! But-it comes with its price-I'm hooked to my android right now, too. The only option in these areas would be satellite (I use that at home) but it too has its limits. You can watch some videos, but I always run out of bandwidth by the end of the month and end up with internet that is no better than I can get through my android! But-I'd rather be in the country any day with our connection-limits than in a city!!!
Hey, noticed your frustration with video pausing a lot. I had that trouble too. I tried everything in the book to get rid viruses and clean up my registry delete cache memory hogs over and over until one day I heard of LINUX. This is a FREE Operating System which comes with all the free software you can possibly or handle. The best up side is that there are virtually no viruses written to attack Linux. It does require a little knowledge about computers but if I can do it you can too. At least look into it and if I can help let me know.

Your problem isn't the computer I'm pretty sure. It's you broadband most likely.
What sort of computer service do you use? I had the same problem. I hadn't updated my satellite in years-the company never even suggested it until I called (living in the country, I can't get dsl or cable). Do you use a laptop? If so, take it to a restaurant where they have free wifi and see if you can watch the videos all the way through there (of course, you'll need to take ear phones along, too.)
