On the back of her fraudulent claim that an increased tax on wealthy Americans will fully fund her $52 trillion Medicare for All plan, dinky/liar-Warren is also leveling a wealth tax on top of that. Just how many millionaires and billionaires does dinky/liar-Warren believe exist in America? And why is she entitled to redistribute their money?

Part of the reason the economy is doing so well today is because Republicans cut taxes, which has proven to fuel economic growth with more jobs and higher wages. The only credit that can honestly be given to the government is that it got out of the way. Warren wants to hit the brakes on the economy out of spite, claiming that millionaires and billionaires don’t deserve to own or control their own fortunes.

dinky/liar-Warren’s fellow socialist commie-Bernie Sanders sees things the same way, with his call for an 8% tax on the richest Americans. Ironically, when Sanders was asked about a government-instituted mandatory firearms “buyback” program, he stated, “A mandatory buyback is essentially confiscation, which I think is unconstitutional. It means that I’m going to walk into your house and take something whether you like it or not. I don’t think that stands up to constitutional scrutiny.” Well said, commie-Bernie. Now how about applying that same sound logic to the government’s taking of people’s hard-earned money simply because they have more than others?

Both dinky/liar-Warren and commie-Sanders see individuals as vassals of the government, rather than the government as beholden to the people. The government owes its existence to the people, not the people to the government. The Founders declared Americans’ rights to be inalienable precisely because they recognized those rights come from God and not from government. The government does not grant rights; rather it is tasked with recognizing them and defending them.

Socialists like dinky/liar-Warren and commie-Sanders advocate flipping the whole system on its head, and they point to wealth disparity as the sole justification for such a radical and foolish endeavor. Using the politics of envy, they condemn the wealthy and successful for the “sin” of industriousness. How dare the wealthy be allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labors!   ~The Patriot Post

In a case that originally was launched by then-California Attorney General lowlife-Kamala Harris, a 10-person jury found Daleiden and Merritt guilty of racketeering, conspiracy to commit fraud, breach of contract, and trespassing. Unbelievably, Planned Parenthood and several affiliates were awarded punitive damages that may exceed $2.3 million. The pair will appeal the verdict, and there’s reason to think it may reach the Supreme Court. While the case drags out, Planned Parenthood will continue to receive your tax dollars.

Daleiden said in a statement, “While top Planned Parenthood witnesses spent six weeks testifying under oath that the undercover videos are true and Planned Parenthood sold fetal organs on a quid pro quo basis, a biased judge with close Planned Parenthood ties spent six weeks influencing the jury with pre-determined rulings and by suppressing video evidence, all in order to rubber-stamp Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit attack on the First Amendment. This is a dangerous precedent for citizen journalism and First Amendment civil rights across the country, sending a message that speaking truth and facts criticizing the powerful is no longer protected by our institutions.”

Judge William Orrick did indeed prove his own pro-Planned Parenthood bias. “I just want to be very clear that I want these witnesses to be able to testify as to what their reasonable state of mind was with respect to the specific defense … but we’re not going into the truth of abortion procedures. I’ve excluded that,” Orrick said in October. And he also instructed the jury that they must only decide damages, saying, “I have already determined that these defendants trespassed at each of these locations.”

Furthermore, The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland reports, “Judge Orrick was a founder and a longtime officer and director of the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center, an organization which, according to Daleiden, houses and participates in a joint venture with one of the named Planned Parenthood affiliates.”

It seems that the only thing separating this show trial over trumped up charges from the Democrats’ impeachment charade is that, this time, the whistleblower is the “criminal.”   ~The Patriot Post

People seem shocked that recent polls show millennials are enamored of socialism — an economic system that reasonable and educated Americans have long known is disastrous. They shouldn’t be; this has been a long time coming.

The latest survey by Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation shows that 70% of millennials are likely to vote socialist. Adding insult to injury, only 57% believe the Declaration of Independence “better guarantees freedom and equality” over “The Communist Manifesto.” The worst part of this is that it is real, not a parody piece in “The Onion.”

Now do you finally believe that our schools and universities, Hollywood and the liberal media are brainwashing our kids? Are you taking this seriously?

I’m taking it very seriously, which is why I devoted three of the 16 chapters of my just-released book, “Guilty by Reason of Insanity: Why the Democrats Must Not Win,” to discussing socialism and capitalism. I cite earlier polls showing this same disturbing trend concerning young people’s attitudes toward socialism.

A 2015 YouGov poll showed that 43% of Americans between 18 and 29 years of age had a favorable opinion of socialism and preferred it to capitalism. Then, in 2015, a Pew poll found that 69% of those under age 30 would be willing to vote for a socialist for president. Further, a Gallup poll revealed that only 45% of Americans ages 18 to 29 have a positive view of capitalism, while 51% have a positive view of socialism. No offense, but it’s like a wave of stupid has washed ashore.

Significantly, these kids are not only drawn to socialism but also repelled by capitalism — two distinct but related points. Their attraction to socialism partially stems from their aversion to capitalism. The leftist establishment has bombarded us for decades with socialist propaganda. Former Hillsdale College professor Burton Folsom notes that while America was founded on the idea of preserving individual liberties through limited government, many prominent American history textbook writers are strongly biased against America’s free market tradition and believe that America must be liberated from predatory capitalists. These teachings have now yielded an abundance of poisonous fruit.

A 2018 study by the National Association of Scholars showed that some 40% of colleges in the United States have no Republican professors. “The political registration of full-time, Ph.D.-holding professors in top-tier liberal arts colleges is overwhelmingly Democratic,” writes Mitchell Langbert. “Indeed, faculty political affiliations at 39 percent of the colleges in my sample are Republican free — having zero Republicans.” In the other 61% of schools, the ratio is “absurdly skewed against Republican affiliation and in favor of Democratic affiliation.”

It is astonishing that an economic system that has enslaved and impoverished nation after nation and was responsible for more than 100 million murders in the 20th century is portrayed as utopian, and that capitalism, which has liberated hundreds of millions from poverty, is depicted as evil.

The left works 24/7 to disseminate its destructive ideas. Chrissy Clark writes for The Federalist that Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman, two prominent economics professors from the University of California, Berkeley, have been instrumental in designing economic policy for Democratic presidential hopefuls Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren and commie-Bernie Sanders. Despite their dubious calculations on such socialistic proposals as “Medicare for All,” the liberal media is working hand in hand with them to spread their propaganda — including the oft-repeated canard that the wealthiest Americans have the lowest tax rates. This type of coordinated effort, argues Clark, could “affect the way young people view economics for the rest of their lives.”

Here’s the point: Leftists have to lie to persuade people that socialism works and capitalism is evil. At some point, we must successfully make the case that the left must be judged by its policy failures rather than its supposedly good intentions. Here’s the other point: Leftists are seemingly more committed to their goals of fundamentally transforming America than conservatives are to preserving it.

Evidence abounds that many Americans are losing sight of the unique gloriousness of America’s founding ideas. National Review reports, “Tlaib was paid over $45,000 dollars by her campaign between May and December 2018. While FEC regulations permit a campaign to pay a candidate, it must be for ‘work performed up through the date of the general election.’ Checks, emails, and spreadsheets show that Tlaib was paid $17,500 after the November 6, 2018 election. A November 29 email from the campaign’s treasurer to worthless-Tlaib says that checks are ‘for the time period through December 31, 2018.’” A release of multiple emails from worthless-Tlaib to her campaign show repeated instances where she requested campaign money to use for her own personal expenses.

In Hastings’s case, the Committee released a statement noting that it is “considering whether Representative Hastings’ relationship with the individual employed in his congressional office is in violation of House Rule XXII, clause 18(a), and whether Representative Hastings has received any improper gifts, including any forbearance, from that employee.” There is no indication that the relationship was non-consensual.

This now makes the third House Democrat to be investigated for ethics violations this year. Recall that Rep. Katie Hill (CA) stepped down last month following the revelation of inappropriate relationships with members of her campaign and congressional staff. And these aren’t the only Democrats facing potential ethics investigations. Minnesota Rep. worthless-Ilhan Omar’s alleged affair with a member of her campaign-consulting team has many calling for an investigation. And Brooklyn Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s former chief of staff is currently under investigation for campaign-finance violations, which could possibly end up implicating commie-AOC.

The point is that Democrats are far from having the corner on ethical behavior, even as they so loudly bang the impeachment drum against President Donald Trump.   ~The Patriot Post

Trump’s controversial decision to pull a small number of U.S. troops out of northern Syria, allowing for Turkish forces to move in against Kurdish forces (U.S. allies) in the region, brought condemnation from both Democrats and Republicans. A temporary ceasefire ending the bloodshed was agreed to following Vice President Mike Pence’s meeting with Turkish leadership — a meeting that also resulted in lifting the economic sanctions Trump had imposed. All in all, Trump’s poor explanation for his complicated decision opened him up for plenty of legitimate criticism.

That said, Trump clearly has a more developed strategy behind what publicly appeared to many as little more than a sudden decision aimed at fulfilling a campaign promise of getting our troops out of the Middle East. That fact is demonstrated by the successful U.S. Special Forces mission to take out ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — a mission that required the use of Turkish airspace.

Furthermore, Trump correctly realizes that the greatest threat to our national security is a nuclear-capable Iran, and U.S. bases in Turkey are essential to preventing this from occurring. This reality has been made all the more clear with Iran’s recent announcement that it is ramping up efforts to enrich uranium in defiance of the nuclear deal it never followed in the first place. So, now is not the time to heighten tensions with our NATO ally.

Trump is clearly a big believer in “Bucks over Bombs.” He sees dollar diplomacy as the best way to convince Erdogan that it’s in his best interests to work with the U.S. This explains Trump’s comments following the White House meeting: “Frankly, we’re going to be expanding our trade relationship very significantly.” Using the promise of mutual economic opportunity, Trump hopes to develop a better relationship with Erdogan in order to counter Russian efforts to draw Turkey away from NATO and the U.S.

On a final note, Trump was also able to secure a promise from Erdogan to stop persecuting minority religious groups, especially Christians. “We’ll see that their sanctuaries are getting revived and their churches will be reconstructed so that they can go back and start praying again,” Erdogan declared. But as the saying goes, talk is cheap, especially with a dictator like Erdogan. We’ll have to wait and see if he actually follows through.   ~The Patriot Post

From 2016-2018, the Republican Party controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. A large part of that control, as well as the unlikely triumph of President Donald Trump — against what we now know was just about every conceivable organized opposition in the country — was based on the idea that the glaring problems associated with mass immigration, both legal and illegal, would finally be addressed in a meaningful way.

Much of that expectation was based on the reality that the GOP’s standard excuse for inaction — as in they were always one chamber short in Congress, or didn’t control the presidency when they controlled the House and the Senate — was no longer operative. Finally, they had at least two years in which many of the conservative-based campaign promises they made to get themselves elected would come to fruition.

It was all an infuriating charade. And the worst part of it is, Republicans appear completely sanguine about the demographic time bomb that will doom them to permanent irrelevancy at best, or complete obliteration at worst.

Virginia is the bellwether. And as the date of the above Breitbart article indicates, it’s been evolving into a blue state for at least four years. “Hey, Republicans! Did you enjoy Election Night last week? Get ready for a lot more nights like that as immigration turns every last corner of the country blue,” Ann Coulter warned in 2017, following the defeat of Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie.

And like Virginia’s latest election last week, where Democrats won a 21-19 majority in the State Senate, and a 55-45 margin in the House of Delegates — completely reversing the supermajorities of 66-67 seats Republicans held between 2011 and 2017 — politics had far less to do with the outcome than demographics did.

Coulter revealed what has been evident for quite some time. “In 1970, only one out of every 100 Virginians was foreign-born,” she explained. “By 2012, one in nine Virginians was foreign-born.” Why does that matter? “According to the Pew Research Center, 75 percent of Hispanic immigrants and 55 percent of Asian immigrants support bigger government, compared to just over 40 percent of the general public,” Coulter adds. “Even third-generation Hispanics support bigger government by 58 percent.”

Columnist Sabrina Tavernise confirms that reality. “It was a stunning political realignment for a Southern state, and prompted days of prognosticating about President Trump’s own standing with suburban voters nationally in 2020,” she writes. “But while political leaders come and go, the deeper, more lasting force at work is demographics. Once the heart of the confederacy, Virginia is now the land of Indian grocery stores, Korean churches, and Diwali festivals. The state population has boomed — up by 38 percent since 1990, with the biggest growth in densely settled suburban areas like South Riding. One in 10 people eligible to vote in the state were born outside the United States, up from 1 in 28 in 1990.”

Her conclusion? “The influx of immigrants and their US-born children, the spread of high-density suburbia, and the growth of higher education all tilt the field toward the Democrats.”

With such a blatant inevitability staring them in the face, one might think Republicans would be a bit more circumspect about the massive influx of legal immigrants that brings more than a million would-be citizens into our nation every single year. One might think they’d be alarmed by birth tourism, as in foreigners coming to America to give birth to “anchor babies” that add a U.S. passport holder to the family, or the “curious” interpretation of the 14th Amendment whereby hundreds of thousands of children are born to illegal aliens are automatically granted U.S. citizenship. One might think clarion calls from Democrats and their media allies about fundamentally transforming our nation would resonate.

One would be utterly wrong. Aside from the orchestrated inaction on illegal immigration, Republicans have been actively collaborating with Democrats this year to more than double the number of H-2B visas made available to low-skill foreign-born workers. That follows last year’s collaborative effort to double the number of H-1B visas for high-tech foreign-born workers.

That low-income Americans’ wages remain stagnant or get depressed? That the so-called shortage of American-born STEM workers precipitating the increase in H-1B visas is a complete myth? That what happened in Virginia is a pattern repeating itself in places like Houston and Atlanta?

The GOP will support the globalist agenda of open borders and unlimited immigration to the point of suicide.

Moreover, Republicans are abetted by pseudo-conservatives like columnist Matthew Continetti. “As Virginia has moved into the Democratic column, the state Republican party has become more populist, more nationalist, and more culturally conservative,” he asserts. “The dwindling number of Republicans who spoke the language of suburbia could not escape their party’s national reputation for hostility to immigrants and opposition to progressive ideals. A similar process occurred in states like California, Colorado, and Nevada. It may also be underway in Arizona and Texas(!).”

Translation: Putting America first, and cherishing our exceptionalism, culture, and traditions, must give way to unchecked immigration and progressive ideals.

What “ideals” are those? As Victor Davis Hanson astutely notes “a radical progressive revolutionary movement that serves as a touchstone for a variety of auxiliary extremist causes, agendas, and cliques — almost all of them radically leftwing and nihilistic.” A movement that embraces “the Green New Deal, reparations, abolishing the Electoral College, welfare for illegal aliens, open borders, amnesties, wealth taxes, a 70-90 percent income tax code, Medicare for all, and legal infanticide.”

In short, all-encompassing, Liberty-crushing, Nanny State government, courtesy of a Democrat Party seeking permanent power. They are aided and abetted by “principled” Never-Trumpers, Chamber of Commerce RINO globalists, an educational system that fosters  national self-loathing, and millions of foreign-born voters who remain willfully oblivious to the irony of abandoning the insufficiencies of their former countries only to heartily support those insufficiencies here.

According to a 2015 report by the Pew Research Center, immigrants and their descendants are projected to account for an astounding 88% of the U.S. population increase, or 103 million people, as the nation grows from 320 million people to 441 million between the years 2015 and 2065.

Anyone who questions this trend? A bigot or a xenophobe.

“It’s been a long time coming, albeit a slow, gradual march to the abyss, but the land of the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and ‘sic semper tyrannis’ has now become the land of the snowflakes and social justice warriors,” columnist Scott Morefield states about Virginia.

As to the first question regarding inviting Ukraine’s “interference in our elections,” it is clear with the conclusion of Robert Muller’s investigation that the Democrat Party invited interference into the 2016 election, and it is that interference that was the basis for Trump’s request for Ukraine investigations.

Second, regarding the assertion that there was a “quid pro quo” associated with Trump’s request to investigate corruption, it is the constitutional authority of the president to set foreign policy, and in every case of U.S. relations with a foreign country, especially where aide of any type is concerned, that aide is conditional. Asserting in this case that the condition was to “help his reelection campaign” is a Democrat/deep-state fabrication to undermine the next election because they failed to undo the last one. What we’re witnessing is “Coup d'Etat 2.0.” (Oh, and Democrats have stopped referencing “quid pro quo” because they think their constituents are too stupid to know what that means.)

We now know that the Ukrainian government had reopened the loose lips liar-Biden corruption probe months before the Trump/Zelensky call at the center of the Demo impeachment derby.

We also know that scumbag/liar-Schiff lied about his association with the so-called “whistleblower,” who, as it turns out, is a Democrat political hack. And notably, that hack is now, himself, under criminal investigation by the ICIG with whom he filed his original trumped-up complaint.

Of course, Democrats refuse to allow testimony from that deep-stater, as requested by Republicans, because that would expose scumbag/liar-Schiff’s collaboration with him and blow up the impeachment effort. And recall that it was his lawyer, Mark Zaid, who publicly declared in 2017, “[The] coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately.”

Third, if Democrats are looking for “an abuse of power” that actually rises to the level of an impeachable offense, they should start with the 2018 letter signed by Demo Sens. scumbag-Richard Durbin (IL), scumbag-Patrick Leahy (VT), and scumbag-Robert Menendez (NJ) to then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko. In the letter, the Demo trio threatened the totality of U.S./Ukrainian relations if the Ukrainians did not help find some evidence to support the Democrats’ flailing and failing Russia-collusion charade to find something worthy of impeaching Trump.

And finally, where were all these impeachment hounds back in 2016, when then-Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden threatened to cut $1 billion in U.S. Ukrainian loan guarantees if the Ukrainian president did not fire Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor whose investigations were getting dangerously close to Hunter Biden’s “business expertise” in return for Ukrainian cash? Let me summarize again what this Demo charade is really about. If you are paying attention to the Washington circus that is the impeachment inquiry into President Trump’s handling of the much maligned Ukraine call, this is what real collusion looks like: a media largely committed to advancing the goal of Democrats to severely damage or remove him from office, a series of at first private testimonies by people who appear to have similar motives and connections to Democrats and/or anti-Trump forces, and now a new book by “Anonymous,” which claims the president has a bad attitude and is difficult to work with.

Where to start?

“Anonymous” is a self-admitted coward. He, or she, apparently still works within the administration. A true patriot would resign and go public so their accusations could be tested. Writing a book like this while still on the public payroll is more than cowardly, it is also an attempt to disregard, disrespect and dishonor the people who voted for Donald Trump.

Next comes the testimony starting Wednesday of carefully selected “witnesses” before Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff’s “intelligence” committee (now there’s a play on words). These testimonies are designed to advance the left’s narrative about Ukraine, but only the narrative that fits their agenda and not the one featuring a real quid pro quo involving then-Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden and his overpaid son, who held a directorship with a Ukraine energy company while his father was vice president and involved in U.S. policy on Ukraine. At the time, the elder loose lips liar-Biden urged Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor, with the threat of withholding U.S. aid.

Having failed at other attempts to smear the president, this is the Democrat’s last gasp. They must know that even if they draw up dubious articles of impeachment, the Senate won’t vote to convict and remove Trump from office. This could create one of the biggest political backfires in history if the public perceives it as unfair and driven by bias, ignoring evidence that would be to the president’s benefit.

Take one example of many that unmask the objective of the anti-Trumpers, which has been obvious at least since the 2016 election.

The attorneys for the so-called “whistleblower,” the person who heard from someone who listened to the call between President Trump and the president of Ukraine, have numerous Twitter postings stating their intentions. Here are some of them taken directly from their tweets.

From Mark S. Zaid: “#coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion #impeachment will follow ultimately.” This tweet was posted just after the president was sworn in and before he had done anything.

In the summer of 2017, Zaid tweeted “We will get rid of Trump” and “as one (coup) fails two more will take their place.” He repeats these sentiments and objectives over many months. Zaid also predicted CNN would be an ally in the pursuit of impeachment. Anyone examining that network’s “reporting” can attest to the accuracy of his prediction.

The other attorney for the whistleblower, Andrew Bakaj, also appears to be an anti-Trumper. He has tweeted that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. That’s the standard (in) the 25th Amendment.”

All of this is the stuff of show trials and banana republics. The left does not have a single issue on which they can defeat the president, most especially when it comes to the economy and the lowest unemployment in nearly 50 years, and as Trump claims, “the highest stock market ever.”

If the public comes to see this as the partisan assault that it is and a power play to nullify the will of the voters who elected the president in 2016 — assuming they pay attention during the coming holidays — this could prove the greatest political disaster for them since Walter Mondale lost 49 states to Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Under Trump, long-sought criminal-justice reforms have been realized. The First Step Act was passed, which shortened the length of mandatory-minimum sentencing requirements for nonviolent drug-related offenses and it allows the reevaluation of sentences that are suspected for being racially motivated. As of today, more than 3,000 Americans have been released from prison thanks to the First Step Act.

Trump’s policy agenda of pushing for greater school choice has resulted in the proposal of “a $5 billion per year tax credit on donations that fund scholarships for private schools, apprenticeships, and other educational programs,” as the GOP blog notes. Furthermore, Trump has established a board of advisers on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) — something sought under Barack Obama — and Trump “has appropriated more money than any past president to HBCU’s.”

In all honesty, based upon his record in support of black Americans, it is profoundly misleading and disingenuous for the mainstream media to continue screaming that Trump is a racist. The reality is that the majority of black Americans (as well as the rest of America) are doing better under Trump’s presidency than under his predecessor’s.   ~The Patriot Post

Today, there are Americans who were born after the attacks of September 11, 2001 who are considering enlisting in the military. Right now, America has made some huge gains with driving ISIS into a bunch of holes and taking out Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Those are important victories, no doubt about it. But there is precious little follow-up — and a lack of overarching strategy, or even an idea of what ultimate victory looks like.

To his credit, President Donald Trump had an idea of what beating ISIS looked like: Eliminating jihadi control over any territory. We succeeded, and with very few casualties. But there seems to be a lack of vision about the post-ISIS strategic landscape. It’s as if America is just waiting for the next group to form and strike. The situation is not as good in Afghanistan, where the United States seems to be just trying to contain the Taliban — while coming up with some face-saving strategy to exit.

This is not a serious strategy to win the Global War on Terror. It seems more like a holding action — the military has been asked to keep things tamped down, as if that’s the end goal. In one sense, it is winning, but the endless fighting takes a toll on those sent to fight, notably the members of United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

Those elite military personnel are carrying the brunt of the effort. They risk getting killed or maimed. They see their fellow troops killed or maimed. Even if they aren’t maimed, they risk the invisible wounds of traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. That also goes for the rest of the military — but SOCOM is taking the brunt of the load in Iraq/Syria and Afghanistan.

It gets worse, though. A Green Beret, Major Mat Golsteyn, is facing charges relating to taking out a member of the Taliban who built improvised explosive devices. That bomb-maker was responsible for killing and maiming American and Afghan troops. Yet the scumbag/liar-nObama administration went after him, an effort that recently re-started and that has been tainted by investigator misconduct.

But that misses the fundamental problem with the case: To win in Afghanistan, you need to do things like kill Taliban bomb-makers. Golsteyn did just that — and now, he faces a court martial that could deprive him of his freedom and a fair amount of his constitutional rights.

The Golsteyn case hits for another reason: Taking down terrorist groups like al-Qaida, the Taliban, and ISIS isn’t going to necessarily be a clean fight like World War II was. America pretty much had to ask those tasked with defending it to do some very necessary but distasteful stuff to protect this country. Look what it took to get Khalid Sheik Mohammed to talk. Then look at how those who accomplished that incredibly difficult, yet vital, task were treated.

Arguably, America has pulled its punches, even in the wake of 9/11. George W. Bush had a very superb definition of victory, and he pursued it vigorously. But early mistakes led to the strategy being badly executed. In addition, America pulled punches. Could the Long War have been shortened had the United States replicated the 1945 bombing of Dresden masterminded by Sir Arthur Harris on a Taliban-held city in 2001? Did we miss a similar chance to send a message during the anti-ISIS campaign of 2017?

This doesn’t just affect the War on Terror — but other parts of the globe as well. The nuclear negotiations with North Korea could have had better results if America had the ability to point to a bombed-out pile of burnt rubble that had once been the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa as a case of potential destruction being the consequence of incurring our wrath. Deterrence is not just having the ability to do something, it’s also about having the will to use that ability. The latter is arguably a bigger question than the former these days, and that is not good.

At present, America is asking its military personnel engaged in combat operations as part of the Global War on Terror to risk their lives. But at the same time, we are not serious about winning the war we have sent them to fight. Our troops deserve better than that.   ~The Patriot Post

However, lower courts populated with scumbag/liar-nObama judges were able to derail those plans by issuing injunctions, and now the issue is before the Supreme Court. To clarify, the justices will not be ruling on the legality of DACA itself; rather the question is whether the Trump administration followed the proper protocols when rescinding DACA. In other words, the issue is one of procedure, yet the ramifications for the DACA program — and constitutional Rule of Law itself — are immense.

The Trump administration’s argument in defense of rescinding DACA boils down to the program having been illegally implemented from the start. Trump officials insist that ending an illegally enacted program should not be subject to the same rules and protocols for rescinding or changing a program that was legally instituted. Why apply the rules to rescind a program — rules that mandate a public notice and a period for public comment — when that would merely extend the process of ending the illegal program by months or even years, all for a program that did not follow rules or protocols when it was first implemented?

Either way the Court rules, Trump will still have an opportunity to rescind DACA, thereby putting the ball of immigration reform back in Congress’s court. As the Washington Examiner’s Brad Polumbo notes, “The clear merits of DACA as policy aside, the answer to congressional incompetency is not an imperial presidency with the ability to re-write immigration law by executive fiat. So the conservative-majority Supreme Court would be well justified in striking down DACA as it stands. Critics may blast them for it, but they’re missing the point. The blame truly lies on Capitol Hill.” The Court is expect to issue its ruling early next summer.   ~The Patriot Post

Saturday marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. I’ll never forget the emotion I felt watching that stark symbol of communism come tumbling down.

Young Germans poured out of their homes and overwhelmed the security guarding the piece of concrete that physically and psychologically separated East and West Berlin. They quickly began demolishing it piece by piece.

The seeds of the wall’s destruction were planted a couple of years earlier in 1987 when President Ronald Reagan delivered one of his most famous speeches.

Standing before the historic Brandenburg Gate in West Berlin, Reagan spoke directly to the leader of the Soviet Union and forcefully declared:

General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!

While reflecting on this anniversary, I couldn’t help but think of a recent poll of millennials. It found that nearly 70% of millennials are willing to vote for a socialist candidate. Even more frightening, a third said they approve of communism.

How is that possible? How can the most highly educated generation of Americans, with Google literally at their fingertips, be so clueless about what life was like under communism?

This is beyond shocking. It’s scandalous. It is a damning indictment of our modern educational establishment and the elected politicians who failed to prevent that establishment from becoming an indoctrination enterprise.

Either we haven’t taught our children what the Berlin Wall was and why it came down or we have taught them a lie. Sadly, I fear it is the latter.

I suspect most young Americans are being indoctrinated to believe that capitalism and free markets are evil, that America is evil. So evil that they’re willing to embrace economic and political ideas that have resulted in tremendous death and suffering.

My friends, 30 years ago I thought America had won the Cold War. Apparently, the fight against communism still continues. Only today the battlefield isn’t West Berlin. The fight is on our high-school and college campuses.

The Culture War

The Supreme Court is hearing several cases this term with tremendous implications for religious liberty. Not surprisingly, at least one far-left group is attempting to rig the result by demanding that Justices Samuel Alito and Brett Kavanaugh recuse themselves from these critical cases.

Why? Because they had the audacity to pose for a picture with the president of the National Organization for Marriage, which advocates for the “radical idea” that marriage should be the union of one man and one woman.

This is further evidence of just how extreme the left has become. Not content with having won the battle over the civil definition of marriage, it is now trying to restrict religious liberty across the board.

It has launched an aggressive campaign called “Beyond I Do.” The success of this effort could be seriously impacted by the outcome of these pending Supreme Court decisions. Thus the attempt to intimidate Alito and Kavanaugh.

The left lost the fight over Kavanaugh’s confirmation, but it never gives up. It wants to disqualify him over a picture. And impeach him if possible.

More Impeachment Lies

Yesterday we noted that the alleged CIA “whistleblower” may have committed perjury by failing to disclose his contacts with Democrat congressional staffers prior to filing his complaint. It seems he isn’t the only one.

Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine and an scumbag/liar-nObama holdover, is widely seen as a star witness in the Democrat impeachment effort. President Trump removed Yovanovitch in May.

Ambassador Yovanovitch testified before Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff’s kangaroo court last month. Under questioning from Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), Yovanovitch said she had ignored messages sent in August from a Democrat staffer on the House Foreign Affairs Committee who wanted to speak with her about “quite delicate/time-sensitive” matters.

The timing of the staffers email to Yovanovitch is suspicious as it was sent just two days after the CIA “whistleblower” filed his complaint.

Yovanovitch told Zeldin that she referred the message to the State Department so that someone in the Legislative Affairs Office could “handle the correspondence.”

You can appreciate why State Department officials would be sensitive about handling official business through the proper channels after scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s private-server scandal. In fact, scumbag/liar-Hillary warned State Department employees against using personal email accounts for official business and she even fired an ambassador for doing so.

So kudos to Yovanovitch for following proper protocol. Except she didn’t.

Fox News has obtained emails indicating that Yovanovitch did in fact reply to the Democrat staffer using a private email account. It seems that her response to Rep. Zeldin was not entirely truthful.

Responding to this revelation, Rep. Zeldin said, “It is greatly concerning that Ambassador Yovanovitch didn’t answer my question as honestly as she should have, especially while under oath.”

In related news, Republican senators are stepping up their efforts to expose Hunter Biden’s dealings with the Ukrainian natural-gas company Burisma. It turns out that the company was aggressively lobbying the State Department and using Biden’s name to gain access and favor.

2020 Update

The Democrat presidential primary took a bizarre turn Friday. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg filed paperwork to have his name appear on the Alabama primary ballot, the state with the earliest filing deadline.

Bloomberg’s move was motivated by growing angst among establishment Democrats that loose lips liar-Joe Biden, Elizabeth dinky/liar-Warren, and commie-Bernie Sanders just can’t cut it. In fact, Bloomberg’s spokesman said as much, telling reporters that “Mike is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned” to defeat Donald Trump.

It is widely reported that Bloomberg is particularly concerned about the rise of the progressive left and the possibility that commie-Sanders or dinky/liar-Warren could win the nomination due to loose lips liar-Biden’s weakness.

But it’s not at all clear to me that Bloomberg has any support in today’s Democrat Party. In spite of his well-known liberal positions on social issues and anti-Second Amendment activism, 75% of Democrat voters said they would vote for a socialist for president. It seems that Bloomberg lost this fight a long time ago.

Bloomberg may not be the last candidate to jump in. There are reports that former Attorney General scumbag-Eric Holder may get into the race too.

Meanwhile, President Trump and Vice President Pence headed to Georgia Friday, kicking off a major push to attract black voters to the Republican Party.   ~The Patriot Post
