America First — Trump's Inaugural Address
By Nate Jackson: "America First" pretty much sums up the message from Donald Trump's inaugural address. The speech was a profoundly bold and brash populist manifesto, and it was quintessential Trump. National Review's Rich Lowry called it a "slightly more subdued version of his stump speech." Trump lauded our country and promised, of course, to make it great again. He also set the bar high with promises, and many Americans are eager to see what he'll do as the 45th president of the United States.
Trump began with confidence and promise. "We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people," he said. "Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done."
"We." That word showed up nearly 50 times in the speech, while "I" appeared just three times. That's a change from Barack liar-nObama's self-centered speeches.
Then he set about painting a picture of the damage done to our great nation by eight years of Barack liar-nObama. And that began with a pointed rebuke of his predecessor sitting just behind him.
For too long, a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.
Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes — starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment. It belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.
Trump spoke with righteous indignation — shared by millions of voters — of rampant inner city poverty, "rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones" around the nation, and an education system "flush with cash" but failing our children. He lamented how we've allowed our military to suffer depletion and lost our wealth to the rest of the world. He decried rising crime, which he called "American carnage" — a phrase that sent most Leftmedia talkingheads to the fainting couch.
"But that is the past," he declared. "And now we are looking only to the future. From this day forward, it's going to be only America first."
By that, he meant that we will make things and buy the things we make. We'll restore alliances and build new ones, all while eradicating the threat of radical Islamic terrorism — yes, he was bold enough to utter those words.
Former Ronald Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan, who spent last year traveling the country to learn what makes Trump supporters tick, put it this way: "He presented himself not as a Republican or a conservative but as a populist independent. The essential message: Remember those things I said in the campaign? I meant them. I meant it all."
Finally, he appealed to unity in a way that must have made liar-nObama cringe:
When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. ... Whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of Patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American flag.
And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
Unity is tough to come by these days, and we aren't holding our breath for liar-nObama to lead his fellow leftists in any kind of display of it. But Trump hit some important notes in his speech and we hope his aspirations for a stronger and more prosperous America come to fruition. ~The Patriot Post

Gowdy represents South Carolina’s 4th District, and gained national attention for his Constitutional powers, and his fidelity to the rule of law. He’s is one of the few members in congress who can define complex legal jargon, so that everyone can understand it, regardless, and he’s also respected as a fierce unrelenting adversary. However always far in his approach, and seldom grandstands for political expediency...

Huge Victory For America As Trump,
Sessions Kill TPP...

That agreement was highly coveted by the establishment globalists as were the other two that would have followed, including a similar arrangement with the globalist European Union, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, T-TIP. By killing TPP, President Trump has struck a huge blow for the American people and our independence, and our sovereignty. He removed from the globalist corporate elite a mechanism, years in the making, written largely by the 600 corporations it would benefit, that would have given them virtually unrestrained power, preference and protection in commerce and elsewhere, both from competition as well as in legal matters. The Left Lost Its Logic On Israel

{investigativeproject.org} ~ Support for Israel among Democrats has plummeted in recent years, a new Pew poll shows, with about as many – 31 percent – saying they sympathize more with the Palestinians than with Israel, which garnered 33 percent support... By contrast, 74 percent of Republicans surveyed sympathize more with the Jewish state. That is the widest partisan gap since 1978. A similar poll last year found a deep divide within the party, with conservative and moderate Democrats favoring Israel over the Palestinians by 53-19 percent. This trend has accelerated during President Barack liar-nObama's tenure. {townhall.com} ~ King Solomon once wrote in Proverbs 19:13 the most annoying sound on the planet was a nagging wife, but obviously, he’d never heard what leftists sound like after they lose elections.
Trump Derangement Syndrome will be around for years to come folks, so it might be wise to invest in a good set of earbuds to drown out the whining. Oh, and maybe consider carrying a fire extinguisher in case another anti-Trumper decides to light himself on fire like the guy in front of Trump Tower who said he did it “as an act of protest.”
Congressional Democrats showed who they really are by boycotting Trump’s inauguration while fellow Democrat anarchists chucked bricks, shattered glass, ignited fires and destroyed personal property. Funny thing is, more than 90 percent of D.C. went for liar-Clinton, so the destruction spree only served to injure their own.
The following day anti-Trump women’s marches also turned a little nasty. They began with what sounded like a menopausal outburst by Madonna who welcomed protesters to “the revolution of love” and then shot off a series of F-Bombs on live TV. Madonna also admitted, “Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know it won’t change anything.”
Lovely.
Actress Ashley Judd partnered in the vulgarities which aren’t fit to print here, but one thing is for sure: Madonna’s and Judd’s clown show inspired lots of people to join the Democratic Party, said no normal person, ever.
I will admit, because of Trump’s colorful past, he brought some of this on himself, but that’s no excuse for this level of stupidity. Their candidate, liar-Hillary Clinton, defended a man charged with raping a 12-year-old-girl. liar-Clinton forced the exclusion of damning evidence which allowed the man to serve only one year for raping and injuring Kathy Shelton who was made infertile as a result. Ms. Shelton told The Daily Mail, “I don’t think she’s for women or girls. I think she’s lying. I think she said anything she can to get in the campaign and win.” liar-Clinton also publicly smeared multiple women while defending her own man.
Commentators on MSNBC bragged about the crowd size of the women’s marches but, as a fellow female, I couldn’t help noticing the size of some of the marchers. There is a big difference between crowd numbers and crowd size.
From the TV clips I watched, there’s not a lot of cutting back on salt intake and Big Gulps in New York City. Sure, TV cameras always add a few pounds, but not that many. Some of the footage of the women on bridges was concerning. I recall Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) lamenting in 2010 the whole island of Guam might tip over due to overpopulation. Someone might want to check the structural integrity of the bridges used during the marches.
I will compliment them for marching. At this point, any cardio will help, but they should also lay off the chocolate bars like I do when my size 2s get tight. In fact, they should consider marching every day rather than just when Democrats lose elections. MSNBC said protesters clogged the subways and bus systems. They could’ve burned a few extra calories hoofing it to the protest areas. Much of the time the women were immobile, which looked more like a cow auction at the Fort Worth Stockyards than a protest march. MSNBC said the goal of the marches and speeches was to inspire women “to get off the couch and run for office.” Just getting off the couch would be a good start. Grazing slowly on smaller portions also helps.
During the marches, MSNBC commentators suggested the outlandish displays were a hint of things to come as the Democratic Party pushes farther left. Obviously, they are clueless these antics are a YUGE! reason why voters handed Trump the presidency.
