Granted, this wasn’t a reliably scientific poll and we don’t bring it up because the results are airtight. But they certainly do affirm what we’ve long warned: Heated political rhetoric has consequences, and primarily it’s being driven by the Democrat/Leftmedia complex.
               These leftist leaders insist 24/7 that everything Republicans say, think, or do is racist. We’re even told that hiring people based on merit is racist. Notably, it is Republicans who fight for school choice for minorities stuck in failing inner-city schools, In some areas, minorities are noticing; in others, not so much. And it’s Republicans, not Democrats, who are lifting minorities out of poverty. Blacks in particular are thriving under President Donald Trump.
               Nevertheless, just before the midterms, Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders declared Trump “the most racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted president in history.” Is it any wonder that rank-and-file Democrat voters believe what they’re hearing?
               Kim Hart of Axios explains the problem with that: “If Americans are this convinced that the other side isn’t just wrong, but dumb and evil, they’ll never be able to find enough common ground to solve real problems. And they’re more likely to elect leaders who can’t do it, either.” As we explained before Thanksgiving 2016, leftist demonization of half the country is why Trump won, though, granted, he wasn’t elected to “find common ground.”
               In related news, the FBI reports that 2017 saw a 17% increase in reported “hate crimes,” including a 37% spike in crimes targeting Jews. The Washington Post reports, “Of the more than 7,000 hate crime incidents in 2017, more than 4,000 were crimes against people, ranging from threats and intimidation to assault [and] murder. More than 3,000 were crimes against property, ranging from vandalism to robbery to arson.”
               A few observations: First, this increase is fueled largely by more cities and law-enforcement agencies reporting a category called “hate crimes” — as in 1,000 additional sources nationwide. Second, we’ve long questioned the very category of “hate crimes” because it’s so subjective and because it motivates people in favored victim groups to report crimes that didn’t actually happen — a fad of hate-crime hoaxes. Third, the increase of anti-Semitic sentiments in the country is driven by Democrats and by so-called “alt-right” racists who are all “alt” and no “right.”
               Finally — and the reason this relates to the poll where we began — is that leftists blame Trump. The leftist, hate-hustling Southern Poverty Law Center certainly does, and the Leftmedia takes its cues about “hate” from these supposedly unbiased propagandists. Moreover, writes Vox’s German Lopez, “The [FBI] report covers the first year of President Donald Trump’s time in the White House, and he’s been repeatedly criticized, from his campaign to his presidential statements and tweets, of stoking racist sentiment, particularly against immigrants and refugees.”
               If “hate crimes” are “rising,” all the better to solidify that blame-Trump narrative and to further divide the country by vilifying all the “deplorables” on the Right. The predictable result is polls showing that everyday Democrat voters view their Republican counterparts as evil racists.  ~The Patriot Post

             But there was another reason behind Amazon’s new headquarters’ “search.” In all likelihood, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had made up his mind on the new locations when the search was first announced. As Reason speculates, “[Amazon’s] HQ2 search was not about HQ2: it was about market research. The mayors and governors and councilmen and commissioners and local developers of America handed priceless information about their plans, investments, and reserve prices to Jeff Bezos for free. … Amazon is now privy to information about where different municipalities are going to direct investment and infrastructure in the near future. The company can exploit this information.”
               Interestingly, one of the biggest decriers of Amazon’s decision was none other than Bezos’s fellow lefty and newly elected Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). She blasted the announcement, writing, “Amazon is a billion-dollar company. The idea it will receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks at a time when our subway is crumbling and our communities need MORE investment, not less, is extremely concerning to residents here.” Mind you, this is the same  commie-Ocasio-Cortez that dodges questions over how she plans to pay for Medicare for All while dubiously complaining about not having enough money to rent an apartment in DC until she begins collecting her congressional salary in January.
               Both the billionaire socialist Bezos and poor commie-Ocasio-Cortez are cut from the same cloth — they look to government to dictate to the masses how Americans should live. In commie-Ocasio-Cortez’s case, it’s the demand that taxpayers foot the massive bills for Medicare for All, free college, and a host of other socialist wealth-redistribution schemes. For Bezos, it’s pocketing $2 billion in tax breaks while at the same time working to get the government to create Amazon-favoring minimum-wage legislation that would squelch competition against the online-retail behemoth. Both lust after power. Neither appear interested in abiding by the Constitution or preserving America’s hard-won freedom and exceptionalism.  ~The Patriot Post

             Because they’re Republican. Instead, the media was busy slobbering over socialist-Beto O'Rourke in Texas. To be fair, there was plenty of media swooning over some women — New Mexico’s Debra Haaland and Kansas’s Sharice Davids, the first Native-American women elected to Congress, as well as Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar and Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib, the first Muslim-American women elected to Congress. All four are Democrats. Then there are the 10 “LGBT” members of Congress. All Democrats. And let’s not forget Democrat Socialist heartthrob commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman elected to Congress.
               As our Robin Smith explained yesterday, “Democrat women [are] convinced that all American voters born with a uterus should conform to vote as a gender bloc.” And as Mark Alexander has put it many times, Democrats bank on women being emotionally incontinent dupes. Any woman who doesn’t vote Democrat — let alone runs for office as a Republican — is a traitor to half the human race. And Democrats freely blame women for whatever defeats they suffered last Tuesday.
               The aforementioned long list of Republican women, however, shows that women are capable of thinking for themselves, despite Democrats’ best efforts to stop them from doing so.
               Meanwhile, the great white hope for feminists still hoping to break the highest of glass ceilings may give it another go. That’s right — scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton is reportedly gearing up for White House bid number three. “Get ready for  scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton 4.0,” wrote her longtime adviser Mark Penn. “More than 30 years in the making, this new version of Mrs. scumbag/liar-Clinton, when she runs for president in 2020, will come full circle — back to the universal-health-care-promoting progressive firebrand of 1994.”
               We don’t know whether to cringe or celebrate. In her  lucrative book, Michelle scumbag/liar-nObama bitterly lamented  scumbag/liar-Clinton’s 2016 loss: “I will always wonder about what led so many, women in particular, to reject an exceptionally qualified female candidate and instead choose a misogynist as their president.”
               Could it be that Trump’s policies better represented these women than scumbag/liar-Clinton’s “stand by her man” victim-blaming?
               That may not continue, though. If scumbag/liar-Clinton does indeed run again, the strategy is simple: Demos will run 10 candidates so that, after the primary, they can combine all those disparate constituents into one “anger, fear, and hate” constituency, with women as a key piece of the coalition. The Wall Street Journal notes one ominous sign: “This Election Day produced the largest gender gap ever: Women made up 52% of the electorate nationwide and favored Democratic candidates over Republicans by an 18 point margin.”

             Then there’s Florida, where Broward County elections supervisor Brenda Snipes is likely on her way out the door following the myriad of voting shenanigans on her watch. Politico chronicles the abuses: “Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations. Busted deadlines. So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes — culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections — that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.” She should have been removed years ago.
               Meanwhile, Florida is in the midst of a recount of both the race for governor and U.S. Senate, and Palm Beach County  elections supervisor Susan Bucher is complaining that the county will not be able to meet Thursday’s deadline. She blames bad voting equipment, which is laughable in one of the state’s wealthiest counties. By Florida law, if the county is unable to complete its recount by the deadline, then the originally recorded vote totals will be final. This would then confirm Republican victories for both the governorship and Senate and it would also most assuredly trigger Democrat lawsuits.
               Speaking of lawsuits, the sore loser of the Georgia governor’s race, Democrat socialist-Stacey Abrams, filed a lawsuit asking a federal judge to allow the counting of votes cast outside the counties in which the voters were registered.  socialist-Abrams contends that as long as the voters were Georgians it shouldn’t matter which county they are registered in.
               Erick Erickson notes the dubious nature of this argument, writing, “State and county officials object because of the burdensome and ridiculous standard this would impose. Counties are responsible for their own voters. To be compelled to keep up with other counties’ voters would be too big a burden. Likewise, the alternative would be to centralize election processes with the Secretary of State. That is something Democrats in the state do not want as they are already convinced the Secretary of State tampered with the election despite a lack of evidence.”
               Republican Brian Kemp’s margin of victory in the Georgia governor’s race is over 50,000 votes, with no more than 21,000 total outstanding votes remaining. In other words, even if 100% of the outstanding votes went to socialist-Abrams, she still has no possibility of winning. Her tactic here is to play up the false charge that Republicans are suppressing the vote, stealing the election, and endangering the democratic process. Nothing could be further from the truth, but the Leftmedia is more than willing to run with this despicable “neo Jim Crow” narrative.
               It is Democrats, however, who will use whatever means necessary to steal elections or undermine the legitimacy of the victor.  ~The Patriot Post

             The timeframe expands as well, going back to 2006. Daniel noted that a CIA employee and later contractor raised concerns that agents were at risk of being compromised via this communications system. Those warnings were ignored, and, worse, the contractor found himself the target of bureaucratic retaliation.
               The contractor’s warnings proved prescient when Iranian intelligence initially broke into the system. The Iranians later put out a press release celebrating the feat, claiming that a number of sources for American intelligence had been identified (BBC puts the number at 42). Worse, though, are the questions surrounding this catastrophe.
               Part of this, according to Yahoo News, was the fact that the system, which was successful in its initial application for use against terrorists and insurgents, was expanded to other adversaries. This included China and Iran, which are difficult places for the CIA to operate due to the repressive nature of the regimes and because a typical American will tend to stand out more there. Whatever the reason for its use, the system, while adequate in its initial role, was as outclassed against Iran and China as a Little League team facing the Boston Red Sox.
               Accountability within the agency will be hampered due to civil-service protections, but it must happen, and it must include those on whose watch this happened. The CIA wasn’t a favorite agency of the scumbag/liar-nObama administration, during which time a legal enhanced interrogation program was vilified despite the fact that it clearly did work and saved lives. Later, the agency had its hands tied by Democrats, with the help of the late Sen. John McCain. Even when President Donald Trump took office, the Left smeared his choice for director, Gina Haspel, who was involved in running the black sites that kept dangerous terrorists on ice. In short, it’s no surprise that the scumbag/liar-nObama years were a disastrous period for these vital assets.
               Under Trump, there’s a chance to fix this, if the distrust from the obvious misuse of intelligence agencies in the 2016 campaign can be overcome. Sadly, this may be more difficult now, as a new Democrat-controlled House will likely use the agency as political bodyguards for the Deep State bureaucrats who have misused their positions for partisan purposes.
               scumbag/liar-nObama may now be beyond the accountability of voters, but perhaps some intrepid journalist could ask him about this. And perhaps the Senate and House Intelligence Committees could hold serious hearings on this matter instead of launching political witch-hunts.

             “The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks. I feared the reaction. What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him.”
               All of the above quotes were Michelle scumbag/liar-nObama, who has a history of such comments. The third quote is from her new book, Becoming, and it had the Leftmedia abuzz over the weekend.
               In the first quote, Michelle admitted that her national pride was tied to the political fortunes of her husband. In the second, she just flat out lied — primarily her husband but also his party always go low. Look no further than Brett Kavanaugh. Democrats habitually and strategically demonize their conservative opponents rather than debate the merits of policy or nominations.
               And in the third quote, Michelle scumbag/liar-nObama revealed the understandable if petty emotions of a spouse whose husband was attacked with false charges. It is true that Trump made a lot of hay about the whole “birther” idea that Barack scumbag/liar-nObama wasn’t actually born in the U.S. But Trump didn’t start that false report; Barack scumbag/liar-nObama did — or at least his literary agent did in 1991. “Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii,” read the brief Obama bio by Acton & Dystel. Where did they get that idea? No doubt from scumbag/liar-nObama himself, who likely said so to advance his “diversity” credentials in much the same way Elizabeth dinky-Warren was touting her supposed Native Americanheritage.
               Then, in 2008, scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s supporters spread the rumor of scumbag/liar-nObama’s birth. scumbag/liar-Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal (of Benghazi talking-points infamy) helped spread the birther rumors, as did a scumbag/liar-Clinton campaign volunteer in Iowa. It’s unfortunate that so many of scumbag/liar-nObama’s opponents on the Right then became almost religiously convinced of this bogus story, losing political capital chasing phantoms instead of truly dealing with scumbag/liar-nObama’s terrible policy prescriptions or actual heritage of hate.
               But in any case, Michelle and Barack received a joint book deal worth $65 million, so it seems that her bitterness paid off rather handsomely. Seems she’d do well to send Trump a thank-you card.
               Exit quote: In response, Trump said of Barack  scumbag/liar-nObama: “I’ll never forgive him for what he did to our United States military by not funding it properly. It was depleted; everything was old and tired. And I came in, and I had to fix it, and I’m in the process of spending tremendous amounts of money. … What he did to our military made this country very unsafe.” That’s far more consequential than misplaced blame for a silly rumor.  ~The Patriot Post
