Wall Street Journal (WSJ) writer Daniel Henninger describes in his September 20th What dummycrats-Democrats Have Become piece, the dummycrats-Democrat’s desperation and of their option to counteract Kavanaugh’s nomination with, “…is being decided in the Senate by the medieval practice of trial by ordeal…” Mr. Henninger is referring to this coming Monday’s possible special hearing in which Dr. Ford the accuser, and the Judge she accuses would testify before the Senator’s vote. A Senate hearing next week appears doomed since Ms. Ford’s attorney made demands seemingly to get a negative response. The strangest of which goes against the basics of American legal tradition, she insists that Judge Kavanaugh testify first. House wants to vote on spending and taxes, then go home

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ House lawmakers are hoping to wrap up legislative business next week  by passing three tax reform bills and a massive spending bill... that would prevent a government shutdown. The fiscal year ends Sept. 30, and lawmakers are poised to cleanly avoid the usual partisan showdown over federal spending that has ensnared the House and Senate for years. They are expected to approve a massive measure funding the Defense Department for fiscal year 2019 at $607 billion. The measure would provide the Health and Human Services, Labor, and Education Departments with a total of $178 billion for the year. The measure includes a continuing resolution for the remaining unfinished spending  legislation, which encompasses seven spending bills and amounts to about 25 percent of federal spending. The “CR” funds those seven budgets until Dec. 7, which would give Congress several weeks in the post-election lame duck session to come with year-long bills. The Senate passed the measure, including the CR provision, last week. Among the bills the the CR temporarily funds at 2018 levels is the Department of Homeland Security, which means no funding increase... Where's the funds for the wall?

Now, in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, a top Republican is sounding an alarm over a vacancy at the top of the Commerce Department’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, the office in charge of severe weather warnings and climate-monitoring, among other things. President Trump's selection of Barry Lee Myers, the former chief executive officer of AccuWeather, to fill the post was approved on a party-line vote by the Senate Commerce Committee in January, but he has yet to be confirmed by the full Senate. { townhall.com } ~ When dummycrats-Democrats start losing an argument they typically resort to smearing and slandering their opponents. Such is the case with their eleventh-hour attempt to derail Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for the Supreme Court.

There they were, quaking in their boots as Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote was just days away, and all of their previous efforts at sinking his nomination came fell short.

Their attempt to paint the judge as an anti-abortion extremist? It failed.

Their attempt to slander the judge as a Republican partisan? It failed too.

Senator scumbag-Cory Booker’s “I am Spartacus” moment? That failed miserably.

The writing was on the wall. Brett Kavanaugh was a dedicated family man, accomplished jurist, and widely-respected member of the legal profession. His confirmation was all but a done deal.

Enter Dianne Fein-stein, who in the knick of time magically produces a letter out of thin air, detailing a decades-old ancient — and unprovable — allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh.

The accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, has identified two witnesses, both of whom have stated emphatically that the incident didn’t happen, along with Kavanaugh himself.

And now she is conveniently and suspiciously refusing to answer the Senate’s call to testify in either a public or private session. Ford is instead demanding an investigation by the FBI — which already passed on this matter, stating that no federal law would have been violated even if substantiated — before she is willing to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

But the Senate is not a courtroom, and dummycrats-Democrat senators care little for the law or the truth. Their sole purpose is to prevent Kavanaugh’s confirmation or, failing that, to ensure that a cloud of uncertainty and illegitimacy hovers above his head for the rest of his career. 

This is character assassination in its purest form, an undeniable hit job. And it’s hardly the first time the dummycrats-Democrats have opened this page of their playbook. Indeed we’ve seen this movie before.

In 1987, President Ronald Reagan nominated Judge Robert Bork to the Supreme Court. Arguably one of the greatest American legal minds of the 20th century, Bork was a staunch originalist and ever faithful to the Constitution.

This, of course, made Bork a direct threat to the dummycrats-Democrats’ radical liberal agenda, and they promptly proceeded to launch a hysterical smear campaign against the judge.

Following the nomination, Senator Ted Kennedy took to the Senate floor to blast Bork faster than he fled Chappaquiddick. “Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the Government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens,” Kennedy railed. 

Unfortunately for Judge Bork — and the Republic itself — the dummycrats-Democrats smear campaign against him was successful. This turn of events was in fact doubly unfortunate, as it taught the dummycrats-Democrats that they could successfully destroy the career of an ideological opponent through slander. 

They’ve been doing it ever since.  

In the decades since Bork was “borked,” dummycrats-Democrats and liberals have turned character assassination into a fine art. When their arguments fail and the truth is on their opponent’s side, they call into question his character and try to destroy his reputation.

When it was Clarence Thomas’s turn to be confirmed to the Supreme Court, the dummycrats-Democrats had enough foresight to know that “he’s a racist” wouldn’t work on a black man, so instead they drudged up unsubstantiated and unprovable sexual harassment allegations. Sound familiar? 

They don’t just target judicial appointments, either. dummycrats-Democrats and their media friends smeared rino-John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Donald Trump as sexist and racist when each GOP nominee ran for President; and they’re still doing it to President Trump.

As for President Trump’s supporters? They’re nothing but “deplorables and irredeemables” and “the dregs of society.” Anti-illegal immigration activists? They’re just a bunch of racists. Folks who value traditional family values? Nothing more than sexists and homophobes. 

Time and time again, dummycrats-Democrats have resorted to smearing those with whom they disagree with baseless and crude allegations.  

They think Americans are fools who will believe their blatant deceptions. But like Clarence Thomas, Kavanaugh will still be confirmed to the Supreme Court. And as the election of President Trump proved, the dummycrats-Democrats’ slanderous words are losing their effect. 

Nonetheless, if the character assassination of Brett Kavanaugh is any indication, they won’t engage in civil debate and discourse any time soon.

Kavanaugh has repeatedly denied the allegations and has said he is willing to testify to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Republicans on the committee have invited Ford to testify next week, and have said that they will hold a vote to confirm Kavanaugh if she does not. Ford has said she will testify, but only if a list of conditions are met. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, has given Ford a Saturday deadline to say whether she will testify. The midterm elections loom over the debate over the timetable of Kavanaugh’s confirmation process. Should dummycrats-Democrats succeed in delaying the confirmation vote past November and pick up seats in the Senate in the midterms, then they will likely have enough votes to block Kavanaugh’s confirmation... These dummycrats-dems need to be impeached and removed from congress.

Kavanaugh’s accuser has yet to file

But the alleged crimes described by Kavanaugh’s accuser don’t fall under the FBI’s federal jurisdiction, and are instead a state-level crime. And according to The Daily Caller, Kavanaugh’s accuser has yet to file a police report on the alleged incident with local authorities. California professor Christine Blasey Ford has alleged that Kavanaugh groped and attempted to undress her while drunk at a small high school party in Maryland in the early 1980s. What most Americans don’t understand is that it is a totalitarian “theo-political” belief system and a social doctrine the two go hand-in-hand based on the Quran, Sira and Hadith, what Dr. Bill Warner of the Center for the Study of Political Islam aptly calls the “Trilogy of Islam.” It has mandates for every single aspect of life, and those mandates are enforced and regulated by the barbaric criminal and civil code known as Sharia. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) told the  dummycrats-Democrat & Chronicle on Monday she hoped there would be "some measure of review, maybe a hearing" on Ford's accusation, but by Wednesday, she told CNN Ford should not participate in a "sham hearing." Senate Minority Leader scumbag/clown-Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) called on Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) on Monday to give Ford a chance to be heard out, but the next day, while praising the invitation to her, said any hearing had to be "done right" with an FBI investigation. Sen. scumbag-Dick Durbin (D., Ill.) said a committee hearing with Kavanaugh and Ford was "the only way to go" during a CNN interview on Monday, and Sen. Chris Coons (D., Del.) said he was "encouraged" by the hearing scheduled for Ford. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., tamped down expectations Thursday for the Russia-related documents President Trump selected this week for declassification... In an interview with Fox News, Gowdy dismissed dummycrats-Democrats' concerns about the national security risks of declassification of sensitive information while also declaring that what the documents entail won't be the bombshell some Republicans are playing them up to be. "I don't think it's going to change anyone's mind, but I've seen nothing in it that is going to jeopardize the national security interest of this country," Gowdy said. Despite downplaying the documents, Gowdy conceded that he thinks there is one document related to George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians, people will find interesting, though he did not elaborate. It was his boasting to an Australian diplomat in a London bar in May 2016 that the Russian government had dirt on dummycrats-Democratic presidential candidate liar-Hillary Clinton that triggered the federal Russia investigation. The declassification order from Trump came on Monday, instructing the Justice Department, the FBI, and the director of national intelligence to declassify documents related to the FISA warrant process seeking the authority to spy on onetime Trump campaign aide Carter Page, who had suspicious ties to Russia...

{ townhall.com } ~ The woman who alleged in a confidential letter that as a high school student in Maryland in the '80s Brett Kavanaugh "pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it" has now revealed her identity to surprise! the Washington Post.

Christine Blasey Ford, who the Post says is now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California, originally said she did not want to tell her story or reveal her identity. Then the story went public without her consent. The letter eventually found its way to the office of Sen. Dianne Fein-stein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, and Fein-stein, citing Ford's wish to remain anonymous, refused to share it with her dummycrats-Democratic colleagues. "I have, however," Fein-stein wrote in a statement, "referred the matter to federal investigative authorities."

"An FBI spokesperson confirmed that the bureau had received the referral ... and included it as part of Kavanaugh's background file," writes the Los Angeles Times, "as per the standard process."

Ford claims she didn't tell anyone about the alleged assault until 2012 when she was in couples therapy with her husband, but even then she didn't mention Kavanaugh's name. If this sounds like a replay of Anita Hill's last-minute allegations against Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings, it should. In football a late hit can bring a penalty. In politics it's all part of the game.

Kavanaugh denies any inappropriate behavior took place, and as of this writing, both he and Ford have agreed to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, a la Anita Hill. Already two Republicans, rino-Jeff Flake of Arizona and Bob Corker of Tennessee, both of whom are leaving at the end of their terms, have called for a delay in Kavanaugh's confirmation vote, which plays into the hands of dummycrats-Democrats trying to block him from the court.

Some dummycrats-Democrats and liberal activists apparently determined to preserve the Supreme Court's leftward shift have chosen to get down in the mud, throwing it at a highly qualified nominee for the Supreme Court. Even Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg bemoaned how these confirmation hearings have become "a highly partisan show."

The smear is nothing new in politics, but while it once might come back to stain the one throwing the mud, it is now regarded as a legitimate tool for achieving one's political goals. The end not only justifies the means, but to the left, it mandates the means.

Republicans should fight back, labeling the smear tactics and those who employ them as demeaning and sullying their office. If one can't win a civil debate over issues and law, then an elected official should not receive the public's trust.

"Have you no shame?" was a line made famous during the Army-McCarthy hearings in the 1950s when Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-WI) claimed to have a list of communists who had infiltrated the federal government. The left rode the "McCarthyism" horse for decades, accusing any Republican or conservative of emulating McCarthy when they opposed the liberal agenda or criticized producers of movies and TV programs they believed contributed to the moral decline of the nation.

This letter should be seen for what it is -- a last-minute, desperate attempt to prevent Kavanaugh's confirmation and part of a broader plan to reverse the results of the 2016 election. This smear campaign includes not only Ford's perfectly timed letter, but also the New York Times op-ed from an unnamed "official" in the Trump administration and many of Bob Woodward's "sources" in his new book "Fear."

These tactics should be denounced immediately, or they will be repeated. Is it any wonder why good people don't want to serve in government? Who wants to face an avalanche of mud?

Grassley grants Kavanaugh accuser another extension

The new deadline was unclear, but Ford had requested that a 10 p.m. ET Friday deadline be extended until Saturday. Ford has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, citing an incident that she said occurred decades ago, when both were in high school. Grassley issued his latest extension decision in a tweet addressed to Kavanaugh, adding that he hopes the judge can “understand” his reasoning behind the delay. Just before midnight ET, Grassley tweeted: “Judge Kavanaugh I just granted another extension to Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed with the statement she made last week to testify to the senate  She should decide so we can move on  I want to hear her.  I hope you understand. New Kavanaugh accuser recants, says

she isn’t sure if original claim is true or not

Ford named one other witness in her story, Mark Judge, who has since stated that he had no knowledge of any such party or incident, as she described. Since then, another man, Patrick Smyth, has come forward, saying that Ford had named him as being present at the party. He also denied any knowledge of the alleged party or the incident described by Ford. Then, suddenly, Cristina King Miranda, a former classmate of Ford’s, came forward to back up Ford’s story. The problem, though, was that Miranda’s story did not line up with the facts. Miranda alleged that “many of us heard about it in school” for days afterward. But Ford said she never told anyone about the alleged attack at the time. Suddenly not so confident, she quickly deleted the post. In a followup with NPR, Miranda stated: “That it happened or not, I have no idea. I can’t say that it did or didn’t.” This was a complete turnaround from her Facebook post, where she had originally written: “The incident DID happen, many of us heard about it in school.”...

{ townhall.com } ~ If you have been following the serious destruction brought about by Hurricane Florence in North Carolina and the political turmoil caused by the allegations of teenage sexual misconduct made by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, along with his firm and unbending denials, you might have missed a profound event in a federal courtroom in the nation's capital late last week.

The Florence damage may take years to repair, and the Kavanaugh nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, which once seemed assured, at this writing is in a sort of limbo, pending an Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas-like confrontation before the Senate Judiciary Committee next week. But when Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump's one-time campaign chair, entered a guilty plea in federal court last week, it created the potential for a political earthquake.

Here is the backstory.

Manafort was indicted by two federal grand juries -- one in Arlington, Virginia, and the other in Washington, D.C. -- for financial crimes committed before and during his time running the 2016 Trump presidential campaign. Both prosecutions have been led by dirty cop-Robert Mueller, the Department of Justice-appointed special counsel charged with investigating whether there was a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and people working for the Russian government.

Often, when prosecutors are looking for evidence of crime A, they find evidence of crime B. This is what happened to Manafort. Yet, as the trial judge said in Manafort's Virginia trial last month, which ended in convictions on 8 of 18 charges, the feds were indeed looking for evidence of crime B as well. We all know that the principal reason for pursuing Manafort on financial crimes has been to squeeze him for what he knows about Trump.

Last week, on the eve of Manafort's second trial, that prosecutorial strategy paid off when he entered a guilty plea before a federal judge in Washington, D.C. Manafort's guilty plea is unique and extraordinary. In the plea, Manafort, who only pleaded guilty to two federal crimes -- witness tampering and conspiracy to defraud the government -- also admitted that he committed dozens of other federal and state crimes.

This was intentionally maneuvered by dirty cop-Mueller as part of the plea agreement so as to make it bulletproof from a presidential pardon. I have never seen this before. The president can only pardon federal crimes. Should he do so for Manafort, state prosecutors in New York, Virginia and California -- the states where these crimes mainly bank fraud to which Manafort admitted under oath actually took place -- can seek indictments immediately. It will be easy to indict and easy to convict Manafort because of his public admissions last Friday.

The pattern of crimes to which Manafort admitted but for which he did not plead guilty is breathtaking. It involves tens of millions of dollars, the highest-ranking former government officials in the Ukraine, an unnamed scumbag/liar-nObama Cabinet member and a few Russian oligarchs. The only good news for Trump in all this is that he and his Republican congressional colleagues will be spared the daily barrage of negative headlines from a second Manafort trial, which was scheduled to start this week and which would have led up to the midterm elections, had it not been aborted by the guilty plea. But the president surely fears a beast in the night in the form of whatever Manafort privately tells dirty cop-Mueller.

The plea agreement -- all 117 pages of it -- does not spell out what evidence Manafort gave dirty cop-Mueller to persuade him to agree to cap Manafort's prison time exposure at 10 years when he could have gotten 60. But it does spell out Manafort's willingness and now legal obligation to assist dirty cop-Mueller.

We know that Manafort's personal offer of assistance todirty cop-Mueller took place over the course of two days of negotiations on Monday and Tuesday of last week. That type of meeting, during which Manafort tipped his hand as to what evidence he could give dirty cop-Mueller about Trump, has been called a "Queen for a Day" by federal prosecutors and FBI agents because the defendant gets to say whatever he wants and if the negotiations fail to produce a deal the feds cannot use what the defendant has told them. The meeting obviously intrigued and excited dirty cop-Mueller's team, and hence a deal was struck.

What did he tell them?

Manafort was present at the July 2016 Trump Tower meeting between campaign officials and Russian intelligence agents, and he made notes. He was present at the preparatory meeting for that Trump Tower meeting. He can probably explain the circuitous and mysterious route of Russian money transfers that followed the Trump Tower meeting. He can explain the 80 times the campaign was in contact with the Russians while he was the campaign chair, and he probably knows if Trump personally knew of the Trump Tower meeting in advance and of any agreements made there.

Stated differently, Manafort can help dirty cop-Mueller paint the Trump Tower meeting and whatever followed it as an agreement by the campaign to accept something of value from a foreign entity, even if the thing of value never arrived: That would be a criminal conspiracy, which my media colleagues call "collusion," a non-legal term. Manafort can also inform dirty cop-Mueller of his financial deals with Trump that preceded Trump's candidacy, at least one of which involved Russian money.

The president's lawyers have shrugged off the Manafort guilty plea as unrelated to the president. This is false bravado for public consumption only, and I don't blame them for it when their client is the president. But if their client has been candid with them, then they can prepare for the Manafort bombshells that are coming.

Shawn Richard Christy, 26, surrendered after being tracked down to a ravine just north of Route 30 in Mansfield, Ohio, about 4:30 p.m., just three hours after the day’s search began, officials said at a press conference. “He was captured with a firearm on him and the FBI is processing that and he going to be facing further charges on that firearm,” U.S. Marshal Brian Fitzgibbon said. He would not confirm what the firearm was other than it was a pistol believed to have been taken from a property in Pennsylvania. Christy has been on the run since June 19, after he allegedly threatening John M. Morganelli, the district attorney of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and Trump in a Facebook post that has since been deleted. “Keep it up Morganelli, I promise I’ll put a bullet in your head as soon as I put one in the head of President Donald J. The scumbag/liar-nObama administration’s IRS deliberately discriminated against conservative groups in their applications for tax-exempt status. This isn’t an empty partisan allegation from an imaginary “right-wing conspiracy.”

In 2013, an IRS official admitted scrutinizing groups with right wing identifying names, such as “Tea Party” and “patriots.” An inspector general’s report that year confirmed this nefarious practice.

At least two groups of cases were settled in 2017 with the IRS agreeing to a “substantial financial settlement” in one and expressing “its sincere apology” in another. This is the kind of tyrannical behavior that liberals used to care about.

In a case involving the Linchpins of Liberty and some 40 other conservative organizations, the IRS confessed that it used “heighted scrutiny and inordinate delays” and required unnecessary information in its review of applications for tax-exemptions.

In the NorCal Tea Party Patriots case, involving more than 400 groups, plaintiffs contended the IRS used their tax information for improper purposes.

I know opponents of President Donald Trump roll their eyes in ridicule at the mere suggestion of a deep state committed to undermining Trump’s agenda. That’s the stuff of paranoid conspiracy theorists or unhinged Trumpublican tribalists, they say.

Well, James O’Keefe, and his Project Veritas, has shown, again, that there is a “there” there.

O’Keefe recently released secret videotapes in which some of these boorish bureaucrats brazenly admit their chicanery, and even brag about it. On Tuesday, Project Veritas released the first of its tapes unmasking these proud pinheads boasting of sabotaging the Trump agenda.

The video features State Department employee Stuart Karaffa, a smarmy, self-proclaimed socialist using his government position to resist official Trump administration policies. Karaffa is a member of the Metro DC dummycrats-Democratic Socialists of America, bless his heart.

He admits to drafting DSA communications at his worksite.

“I’m careful about it,” says Karaffa. “I don’t leave a paper trail, like I leave emails, and like any press s— that comes up, I leave that until after 5:30. But as soon as 5:31 hits, got my like draft messages ready to send out.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen from a D.C.-area restaurant. That was beyond despicable. Hrabar allegedly uses the LexisNexis search engine on her work computer to find home addresses for dummycrats-DSA protests, such as that of D.C. lobbyist Jeremy Wiley.

She reportedly ran his license plate to help locate his home. Hrabar smugly brags that as an employee of the DOJ, “We can’t like get fired.”

Hrabar also reveals that one of her dummycrats-DSA colleagues, who works in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, slows down the process to help people stay on food stamps longer.

Schubel admits on the tape to the existence of “a little resistance movement” within the federal government, and says that her friends at the Department of Health and Human Services give her confidential information before it is officially released.

“Yeah. It’s kind of like the Nixon, deep throat type of thing,” she gloats. She further admits, “There’s a lot of talk about how we can like, resist from inside the Justice Department.”

Isn’t it cute when leftists virtue signal their feigned concern for the integrity of our democratic process? When you hear a leftist complaining about interference with our elections — or corruption of “our democracy” — just remember that they are ends-justifies-the-means progressives who care not a whit about lawful elections, only advancing their agenda.

With their persistent lawlessness and overreach, the mavens of the “resistance” have awakened a sleeping giant in grassroots conservatives throughout the nation, and they will come to regret it.

Over the ensuing days, the president divulged classified intelligence to Russians in the Oval Office, and revelations emerged that Mr. Trump had asked Mr. scumbag-Comey to pledge loyalty and end an investigation into a senior aide. Mr. Rosenstein was just two weeks into his job. He had begun overseeing the Russia investigation and played a key role in the president’s dismissal of Mr. scumbag- Comey by writing a memo critical of his handling of the liar-Hillary Clinton email investigation. But Mr. Rosenstein was caught off guard when Mr. Trump cited the memo in the firing, and he began telling people that he feared he had been used. Mr. Rosenstein made the remarks about secretly recording Mr. Trump and about the 25th Amendment in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes in interviews over the past several months, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. The people were briefed either on the events themselves or on memos written by F.B.I. officials, including Andrew G. McCabe, then the acting bureau director, that documented Mr. Rosenstein’s actions and comments. None of Mr. Rosenstein’s proposals apparently came to fruition. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her in high school... has gone back and forth on her willingness to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. At first, her attorney said she was willing to take the stand and reveal her story on President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. Then Ford took it back. She refused to testify before the FBI investigated the matter, despite the federal agency not having jurisdiction over the matter. Now, she is once again willing to testify but only with some preconditions met. A few of these demands are reasonable: her safety is assured and Kavanaugh isn’t in the same room as her when it occurs. But some demands are beyond the pale. One of her requests is that Kavanaugh testifies before her, therefore not giving him a chance to address her claims. That’s nonsense on its face. She has indicated that she will share her story with the Senate Judiciary Committee, but her lawyer has put forth a list of ground rules for such testimony. For candidate Phil Bredesen, who faces a challenging Senate bid in the Republican stronghold of Tennessee, the claims articulated thus far are enough to impact his opinion but should not derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation altogether, The Associated Press reported. “She has put herself out there,” the candidate said. “If she decided at this point to not do something, I guess the committee has to go ahead and say, ‘Well, we were willing to listen, but if she’s not willing to talk we need to go forward.'” Bredesen described Ford’s allegation as “a very credible story” and said her claims, if true, would be severe enough to keep Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court bench. He said the accusations Ford has made are “close to being disqualifying, if not disqualifying.”... Bredesen don't you believe Kavanaugh? It sure sounds like you don't.

Wait, back up. Where? Officers in Hurricane, Utah, said Thursday that an American flag was ripped from a flagpole, desecrated, slashed and replaced with something resembling the notorious black ISIS banner. Authorities also discovered a truncated message scrawled on a wall: “ISIS IS COMI.” Police said that they referred the criminal act to the FBI, which concluded the incident was probably not connected to anyone in the terrorist group. Classes at Hurricane High School were held as scheduled Thursday and are expected to continue Friday, with police in the St. George suburb saying they are confident there is no danger to students or teachers. The investigation is ongoing, police said...

{ townhall.com } ~ In the era of the #MeToo movement, we are expected to automatically believe claims made by women about sexual abuse. Anyone who dares to ask simple questions about the situation, like who, what, when, where, why and how, is automatically characterized as “doubting the story of a survivor.”

Sexual assault is one of the most sensitive areas of criminal misconduct in American society. Allegations of sexual assault are very serious for all parties involved and they should be treated as such. Women who are victimized should be taken seriously as they seek justice. Men who are accused of sexual misconduct have the right to face their accusers, in addition to being presumed innocent until proven guilty.

While the majority of women who make sexual abuse allegations tell the truth, ugly history of high profile cases show some don’t.

In March of 2006, Crystal Mangum accused white members of the Duke lacrosse team of gang raping her at a party. Before any evidence was provided to a court or to the public, the lives of the players were turned upside down. Their season was cancelled, the coach resigned, Duke faculty upheld the players as examples of racism in America and the New York Times smeared the players on a national level. The players were deemed guilty from the beginning.

When DNA evidence from all 46 eligible members of the team came back as negative, over zealous District Attorney Mike Nifong pressed on. Three young men, Collin Finnerty, David Evans, and Reade Seligmann, were arrested and charged.

“These allegations are lies. Fabricated and they will be proven wrong,” Evans, who served as team captain, said at the time.

Eventually the case fell apart and the charges were dropped. The players were declared innocent, just as they had argued and the evidence proved all along. Their reputations, however, were tarnished forever. Years later, Mangum was found guilty of murdering her boyfriend.

In 2014 Columbia University student Emma Sulkowitz claimed fellow student Paul Nungesser violently raped her. The police and university investigated and found no wrongdoing. Nungesser denied the allegations.

In her pursuit of justice and in order to “prove” her allegation, Sulkowitz carried a mattress around campus and vowed to do so until Nungesser was kicked off campus or put behind bars. In her mind he was a rapist and she wanted everyone to know it.

Her actions received praise from Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, she was invited to President Obama’s State of the Union address as a guest and was given glowing profiles in a number of major media outlets, including the New York Times. Her depiction of Nungesser was a success, with students and professors shunning him. This prompted Nugesser to file a lawsuit against the university and eventually officials issued an apology.

“Columbia recognizes that after the conclusion of the investigation, Paul’s remaining time at Columbia became very difficult for him and not what Columbia would want any of its students to experience,” the university released in a statement. “Columbia will continue to review and update its policies toward ensuring that every student — accuser and accused, including those like Paul who are found not responsible — is treated respectfully and as a full member of the Columbia community.”

That same year, Rolling Stone published a story titled, “A Rape on Campus.” The story alleged members of a fraternity repeatedly raped a woman named “Jackie.” The story wasn’t true, the rape didn’t happen and the magazine eventually paid the fraternity nearly $2 million after losing a defamation lawsuit.

"The article, written by Sabrina Rubin Erdely, was retracted in April 2015 after a police investigation found no evidence to back up Jackie's account," NBC News reported in 2017, when the lawsuit was settled. "In their complaint, the fraternity claimed the magazine knew that Jackie was not a reliable source but proceeded to publish her story without verifying all of her facts. The writer did not attempt to reach out to the alleged ringleader of the supposed attack or contact any others who could have debunked the story, the suit claimed."

In America, it is our duty to avoid the conviction of innocent men. Our system of justice, although flawed at times, is set up to prevent false convictions through due process. A system of due process allows for an equal, unbiased playing field between the accuser and the accused. In the court of public opinion, like in a court of law, we should base judgment on the evidence, rather than automatically condemning men who are accused by women.  This isn’t an assumption that a woman making an accusation is lying, rather, it’s the best way to provide true justice and credibility to both parties.

This of course brings us to the current accusation against Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Stanford University, alleges Kavanaugh attempted to rape her while drunk at a party in high school.

“While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth,” the Washington Post reported. “’I thought he might inadvertently kill me,’ said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. ‘He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.’”

Crucial details surrounding Ford’s allegation are still missing. Where was the party? When did the party occur? She’s also been unclear about how many people were in the room. First it was four and then it was two.

Kavanaugh completely rejects the allegation and has vehemently argued he has never engaged in the type of behavior alleged toward anyone.

“This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes—to her or to anyone," Kavanaugh released in a statement. "Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday.”

"I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity,” he continued. “Sixty-five women who knew Kavanaugh in high school, including two who dated him, have backed his integrity, behavior and character. “

In order for true justice for either party to be achieved, judgment should be rendered on the facts, not on gender. No two sexual assault cases are the same and each should be viewed and analyzed individually. The claims of both parties should be taken seriously, investigated and truthfulness determined on evidence.

{ city-journal.org } ~ Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman. According to the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, during a party Kavanaugh and a friend, both heavily intoxicated, pulled her into a bedroom, closed the door, and pushed her onto a bed. Kavanaugh got on top of her, and, placing a hand over her mouth to muffle her screams, groped her and tried to remove her clothing. Terrified, she was able to escape and hide in a bathroom before fleeing the house. 

This happened 36 years ago, Ford says. Kavanaugh was 17 years old at the time and Ford, 15. Kavanaugh firmly denies the story.

These last facts should make all those determined to use the charge as the poison pill to kill the judge’s nomination nervous. They’re on the verge of setting a dangerous precedent that will inevitably come back to bite them. 

For one thing, they are setting the stage for condemning to reputation-death not just a Roe v. Wade-threatening Supreme Court nominee but any person, man or woman, Bible-thumper or dummycrats-Democratic socialist, by accusation alone. Ford’s story is almost impossible to investigate, much less to corroborate. It happened either in 1982 or 1983; it was either in June or August; it was a house, but she doesn’t know whose; she can’t recall how she got home. 

Despite the hazy details, many find Ford’s story is credible, and for good reason: there’s nothing extraordinary about the events she describes, unfortunately, and over the years she told two therapists about them, though it’s not clear that she ever named Kavanaugh. Still, those who caution that human memory is unreliable, especially after more than three decades, are indisputably right. Is she certain that it was Brett Kavanaugh who was on top of her during those dreadful minutes? She had reason to fear that he was going to rape her, but do we know that that’s what he was intending, and does that make a difference? Kavanaugh himself might not know the answer. Multiply 35 years by large quantities of alcohol—Ford described Kavanaugh and his buddy as “stumbling drunk”—and you’ve got a terrible formula for truth-seeking. 

Even with corroborating evidence, the case raises difficult questions about what constitutes disqualifying behavior. Attempted rape? No senator, even in the motley crew that now inhabits our upper chamber, would be willing to give a thumbs-up to a Supreme Court nominee with a felony on his or her record. Such a candidate would never be nominated to begin with. 

But how about if this was a single instance of drunken groping by a minor? Keep in mind that all modern societies use different standards for judging and punishing minors than they do for adults. These days, people point to brain science to prove that adolescents have poor impulse control and social-emotional awareness, but you don’t need neural imaging to know that adolescents can be dumb risk-takers. That’s why we seal juvenile records. That’s why we have juvenile facilities and diversion programs. That’s why the goal in juvenile proceedings is not so much punishment as deterrence and rehabilitation. Kids grow up; they change; often, they straighten out.  

Just about all the liberal commentary on the Kavanaugh–Ford affair thus far has trivialized this distinction between juvenile and adult by referring to it as a “boys will be boys” excuse. “Boys Will Be Supreme Court Justices” was the title New York Times editors gave to Michelle Goldberg’s Tuesday column. “Much of defensive reaction I’m seeing around Kavanaugh & not just from the right suggests that lots of people think a regular part of male development is the stage where boys drunkenly pin down young women & try to assault them,” New York columnist Rebecca Traister tweeted. Another tweet by popular progressive writer Jeet Heer continues in that vein: “I’m fascinated by the ‘teenage rapists deserve a pass’ strand of conservatism that is emerging.”  

They are missing the point. No one—or at least no one outside the lunatic fringes of social media—is arguing that rapey behavior by teenaged boys is okay because, hormones. What they are suggesting is that the cruel and aggressive actions of an adolescent don’t deserve the same level of scrutiny and punishment as those of an adult. The perpetrators of such actions are more likely to be boys because hormones, but both sexes deserve a lighter touch when they’re underage.  

That Kavanaugh’s fiercest opponents are now using a (tenuously recalled) adolescent crime as proof of his unfitness is an irony worth considering. The Left has always been at the forefront of the fight for leniency for minors. Progressives founded the juvenile court in 1899. Liberals fought “law and order” conservative attempts to try juveniles as adults initiated during the crime wave of the 1970s through 1990s. They pointed out, accurately, that those policies affected black kids far more than white. They were rightfully indignant that prepubescent children could be labelled sex offenders. “Children are regularly put on sex offender registries, sometimes for their entire lives, for conduct less serious than what Kavanaugh is accused of,” writes Goldberg. Well, yes. That’s exactly the tough-on-juvenile-crime approach that has five times as many black as white juveniles in prison and that Goldberg herself would justify against Kavanaugh. 

Now, you could still argue, reasonably enough, that the bar should be set higher for a Supreme Court justice than for many other official positions; that 17 is old enough to justify severe lifelong consequences; that Kavanaugh, assuming that he is guilty, would have deserved a pass if only he would admit and apologize for his transgression. But these arguments need to be made as a matter of considered, consistent principle, and far away from the political war zone.

Men and women are not angels. Someday a brilliant, highly experienced, well-regarded woman may well be sitting in Kavanaugh’s seat and be accused at the zero hour and after interminable vetting of, say, stalking a former boyfriend or snorting cocaine when she was going through a bad stretch in high school. Then what?

And while scumbag-Comey also disagreed with the conclusion of the intelligence assessment, he– like Strzok–believed the unverified dossier, compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele, should have been part of the Intelligence Community Assessment titled “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections.” There is no dispute that the Kremlin meddled in the elections, but the suggestion that it did so to aid Trump set off a wave of controversy for the past several years. Then, the FBI waged a full investigation against the Trump campaign over an unverified dossier that alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but it was also assessing Russia’s intent on meddling in the election...

Post-and-forfeit payments are small cash sums paid to resolve low-level misdemeanor crimes and avoid jail time...

With so much attention suddenly being dropped on her front stoop, it would be understandable if Mrs. Kavanaugh went outside with a hose and chased them all away. Instead, though, she went out and bought some cupcakes to feed the same reporters that are making her life miserable right now. Published in 1972, shortly before Alinsky's death, Rules was a significant part of President scumbag/liar-nObama's and liar-Hillary Clinton's political upbringings – although he more influenced scumbag/liar-nObama, who followed in Alinsky's community organizing footsteps in Chicago in the '80s.  Alinsky's thirteen rules are effective. The first step to challenging them is actually recognizing them. Fein-stein Epitomizes the Need for Term Limits 

by Arnold Ahlert:  Earlier this week, historian Michael Ledeen wrote a column entitled, “Is Dianne Fein-stein the Most Corrupt Senator in the United States?” As Americans have acknowledged, the bar is exceedingly low. At the very least, Feinstein is a sleazy hack. But far more important, the California dummycrats-Democrat is a sleazy hack who has benefitted from an egregious and enduring double standard of accountability. How many Republicans could have employed a Chinese spy — for 20 years, no less — and had that relationship so casually dismissed by the mainstream media and the FBI?

             In a nation roiled by an almost two-year investigation of Russian collusion, one might think the former chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence would merit more scrutiny for employing a chauffeur/office staffer who attended Chinese Consulate functions for Fein-stein, and had “been reporting back to China’s Ministry of State Security for well over a decade before he was caught in 2013, according to the FBI,” writes investigative columnist Paul Sperry. Nonetheless, the FBI apparently concluded the still-unnamed individual hadn’t revealed anything of substance. “They interviewed him, and Dianne forced him to retire, and that was the end of it,” stated an anonymous source to the San Francisco Chronicle.
               The FBI’s disinterest in the two-decade relationship doesn’t sit well with Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN). In August, he sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray asking for a briefing on the matter because believes it is “imperative that those with access to this information exercise extreme diligence in guarding material that, if exposed, would present a danger to the national security of the United States.”
               As the FBI’s “investigations” of Fein-stein and liar-Hillary Clinton indicate, “extreme diligence” is sometimes defined by political affiliation.
               And nothing makes it clearer than the FBI’s wholly different approach to the allegations leveled against President Donald Trump. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes illuminates the aforementioned double standard in no uncertain terms. “Providing a defensive briefing, like the one given to Senator Fein-stein, is a typical response to these kinds of situations,” he asserted. “The refusal to give the Trump campaign a defensive briefing, and instead opening a sprawling counter-intelligence investigation of American citizens, is one of many alarming ways that intelligence leaders drastically diverged from normal procedures in their Trump campaign investigation.”
               Nunes made that statement on Aug 7. This week we learned that “divergence” was far worse: During her closed-door congressional hearing, former FBI agent and serial texter Lisa Page revealed the FBI couldn’t prove Russian collusion after a nine-month investigation beginning in the summer of 2016.
               In other words, the DOJ, courtesy of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, initiated the special counsel investigation without anything to investigate.
               And who has helped drive that investigation? In April, a declassified congressional report revealed former Fein-stein aide Daniel Jones “hired Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele after the 2016 election to push the anti-Trump Russian collusion narrative,” The Federalist’s Sean Davis reported. Jones runs an investigation entity called the Penn Quarter Group (PQG), and in 2017 he told the FBI he had raised $50 million from “7 to 10 wealthy donors located primarily in New York and California” to “continue exposing Russian interference” in the 2016 election.
               In a harbinger of her latest effort to shape an agenda, Fein-stein unilaterally released Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson’s testimony given to the Senate Judiciary Committee in August of 2017 — while the Committee was still trying to secure testimony from other witnesses. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) applauded the move, insisting it “advances the American people’s right and need to know the full truth.”
               Not exactly. Fein-stein never disclosed that Jones was directing Fusion GPS’s efforts to undermine the Trump administration. As Davis astutely noted last February, Jones’ effort was an attempt to “retroactively validate” the Steele dossier. Fein-stein abetted that effort by attempting to undermine an ongoing investigation.
               This time she deliberately waited until the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh were complete before announcing  she had turned over a letter from accuser Christine Blasey Ford to the FBI, while insisting she was honoring Ford’s then-“strongly requested” confidentiality.
               Even the left-wing San Francisco Chronicle couldn’t stomach such calculating disingenuousness. Fein-stein has been around long enough to know “her opaque statement guaranteed that the contents of the letter … would be pursued and publicized in short order. And they were,” the paper stated.
               Fein-stein’s also been around long enough to have quite a track record with regard to China. “For the last 40 years, no politician in America has arguably maintained a deeper, more longstanding and friendlier relationship with China, at the highest levels of its ruling Communist Party, than Fein-stein,” reveals  columnist Ben Weingarten. “It dates back to the opening of U.S.-Chinese diplomatic relations in 1979.”
               While mayor of San Francisco, Fein-stein established a “sister city” relationship with Shanghai and developed an enduring relationship with Shanghai Mayor Jiang Zemin. “Just as Fein-stein rose to a prominent position in foreign affairs and national security in the U.S. Senate, first on the Foreign Relations Committee and later as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Jiang rose to the top of Chinese leadership, serving as chairman of the Central Military Commission, general secretary of the CCP, and president of the People’s Republic of China (PRC),” Weingarten explains.
               Weingarten further notes that Fein-stein ignored all the human-rights atrocities precipitated by Jiang, maintaining their friendship. Fein-stein also cultivated corporate relationships with China, including one with Shanghai Pacific Partners, where her mega-millionaire investor husband, Richard C. Blum, served as a director. In 1993, Fein-stein championed continued trading with China while Blum was attempting to raise $150 million for investors (including himself) for a variety of projects.

               Sperry gets to the bottom line. “Fein-stein, still among the Senate’s most influential China doves, travels to China each year,” he writes, further noting the relationship greatly benefited her husband and has made her “one of the richest members in Congress.”
               On Tuesday, Fein-stein conceded that she “can’t say everything’s truthful” with regard to Ford’s accusations. If this were about a genuine search for the truth, Fein-stein would have made Ford’s accusations known during the Senate Committee hearings. Now Feinstein insists Monday’s scheduled hearing must be delayed so the FBI can investigate a 36-year-old allegation that doesn’t involve a federal crime, and falls outside the applicable statute of limitations.
               So, is Fein-stein the most corrupt senator in America? At the very least, the woman who has held a Senate seat since 1992 epitomizes the need for term limits.

That’s why elections are about turnout, and it’s why dummycrats-Democrats inevitably try to inflame their base by accusing every Republican of racism, sexism, and even Putinism. They also think farther down the road than most Republicans do. Their immigration, education, and social policies are designed to make the electorate more liberal. Indeed, it was U.S. recognition that the YPG were fighting against ISIS while Turkey was passively if not actively supporting ISIS that led the scumbag/liar-nObama administration to start partnering with the YPG over the objections of Turkey. Within Syrian territory the YPG controlled and administered, it established a relatively peaceful region which tolerated religious and ethnic diversity. True, both the PKK in Turkey and the YPG in Syria promote a personality cult around Ocalan and can be politically intolerant of other groups, but that is a problem throughout the region. In terms of both tolerance and personality cult, what occurs in the Syrian Kurdish regions is perhaps less severe than that which exists in Turkey today. For Erdogan and a long line of Turkish politicians before him, however, the Kurds remain a useful foil to distract from their own failings. So long as Erdogan thought he could cultivate Kurdish votes, he was willing to deal with Kurdish groups. But when he saw that many Kurds put ethnic identity above Islamism and refused to support his Justice and Development Party (AKP), he turned on them with a vengeance...

Kavanaugh Case Reveals dummycrats-Demo Strategy for Whole Judiciary

             As things stand in the he said/she said debacle once known as the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh to take a seat on the Supreme Court, dummycrats-Democrats maintain that Kavanaugh is “guilty until proven innocent” of alleged sexual assault when he was 17. loose lips-Joe Biden, who orchestrated the Anita Hill character assassination of Clarence Thomas in 1991, insisted that “you’ve got to start off with the presumption … of what she’s talking about is real, whether or not she forgets facts.” Other dummycrats-Democrats, including liar-Hillary Clinton (!), argue likewise. For her part, Hill contended in a New York Times op-ed that Kavanaugh “has the burden of persuasion.”
               All the while, the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, is refusing to testify in the Senate until an FBI investigation is conducted. Her attorney, dummycrats-Democrat activist Debra Katz, first declared that Ford was “willing to do whatever it takes to get her story forth.” Republicans took her up on the offer, and now another attorney, Lisa Banks, laughably asserts that Ford testifying this soon would be “contrary to the Committee discovering the truth.”
               By the way, the FBI, which has already conducted six background checks on Kavanaugh, has no jurisdiction with this allegation because it isn’t a federal crime.
               Moreover, Georgetown law professor Jonathan Turley (a dummycrats-Democrat) observes: “Ford’s demand is, to put it simply, out of line. … There is no precedent for a quid pro quo demand for testimony by a witness. … There are basic principles of due process that establish a right to be heard, not a right to be believed.”
               Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) wrote in a letter to Sen. Dianne Fein-stein (D-CA), the corrupt choreographer of this cynical charade, that the committee “has extended invitations to Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh to testify on Monday, September 24. They have until this Friday at 10:00 a.m. to let us know whether they are coming.”
               As for the merits of the case, we’re not necessarily arguing who’s right. Ford may be correct that Kavanaugh (or someone else) attempted a drunken assault on her in 1982. Men are known to have done such things while under the influence. A classmate of hers said she “heard a buzz about it” at the time and the “incident did happen.” But then she admitted, “I do not have first hand knowledge” and deleted her original Facebook post. Later Thursday, she told NPR, “That it happened or not, I have no idea. I can’t say that it did or didn’t.”
               Or it may be exactly as it appears — the 11th-hour staged takedown of Donald Trump’s SCOTUS pick by a commie-Bernie Sanders-supporting leftist. Kavanaugh categorically denies the allegation, as do two of the other three boys supposedly at the “gathering.”
               Perhaps the truth is somewhere in the middle. Either way, our judicial system is set up to handle those questions. The court of public opinion is not. There is no due process in the court of public opinion, which is precisely why dummycrats-Democrats want to try this case there. Indeed, dummycrats-Democrats have very cynically and very successfully used the latter to subvert the former.
               As Mark Alexander wrote yesterday, “The accusations will, as was the case with late accusations against Justice Clarence Thomas, follow Kavanaugh to his grave, whether appointed or not.” In other words, if Kavanaugh is confirmed, every opinion he writes — particularly those dealing with “women’s issues” — will be tarnished in the eyes of many Americans.
               Why does that matter? Because leftists have weaponized the American judiciary to achieve their ends. Can’t persuade a majority in the states to legalize abortion? Have seven black-robed despots create a “right” out of thin air. Fail to win the argument about same-sex marriage on the merits? Have five justices do it for you. And the list goes on.
               Furthermore, dummycrats-Democrats want Americans to view all legal cases as leftists’ preferred victims battling some powerful, corporate, white, conservative menace. The merits don’t matter; the “victim’s” identity group does. And Kavanaugh is the worst kind of person — a conservative white man.
                dummycrats-Democrats want to subvert Rule of Law with the rule of men. Or in this case, rule of angry women.

The sources told Fox News on Wednesday that there were no allegations of a federal crime, therefore the bureau would not open a criminal investigation. “This is a political issue, not a law enforcement one,” one source told Fox News. The allegations brought against Kavanaugh last week date back to the 1980s, when Christine Blasey Ford claimed the Supreme Court nominee, while in high school, pinned her down, tried to remove her bathing suit and put his hand over her mouth when she attempted to scream. Ford’s attorney, Debra Katz, said her client considered this to be “an attempted rape.” Upon  learning of Ford’s claims, the Senate Judiciary Committee, overseeing the confirmation of Kavanaugh, invited her to testify under oath in a public or private setting, or even over the phone. Stuff it.

Your blanket "Believe Women" bloviations are moral and intellectual abominations that insult every human being of sound mind and soul.

A certain class of never Trump-harumphers are leading the charge on behalf of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's memory-addled partisan accuser Christine Blasey Ford -- who cannot recall the year she was allegedly traumatized, where it happened, who threw the party that paralyzed her for nearly four decades, how many were in attendance during her claimed assault, how she got there or how she left.

No matter! Bush campaign hack-turned-ABC News analyst Matthew Dowd doesn't need any data to analyze. "Enough with the 'he said, she said'" storyline," he declared this week. "If this is he said, she said, then let's believe the she in these scenarios. She has nothing to gain, and everything to lose. For 250 years we have believed the he in these scenarios. Enough is enough."

liarClinton/hanoi-Kerry flack Peter Daou echoed the unthinking sentiment: "To everyone on the right who says I'm being selective, I BELIEVE WOMEN whether the accused is a Republican or dummycrats-Democrat. And yes, that includes all the names you're throwing at me. My default in these situations is to BELIEVE WOMEN."

Ivy League poobah Simon Hedlin asserted: "Accusers go public not because of any supposed benefits but despite the immense costs." He argued: "When somebody is credibly accused of sexual misconduct, the default should be to believe the accuser."

That is a dumb and dangerous default. The costly toll of "believing women," instead of believing evidence, can be seen in the hundreds and hundreds of cases recorded by the University of Michigan Law School's National Registry of Exonerations involving innocent men falsely accused of rape and rape/murders.

One of those men whose plight I've reported on for CRTV and my syndicated column, former Fort Worth police officer Brian Franklin, spent 21 years in prison of a life sentence after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 1995 who had committed perjury on the stand. Franklin vigilantly maintained his innocence, studied law in the prison library and won a reversal of his conviction in 2016. The jury took less than two hours to acquit him. But his name is still not clear. He recently submitted a 200-page application for a pardon for innocence and cannot do what he wants to do -- return to law enforcement -- unless the members of the Texas board of pardons and paroles along with Texas constitutional conservatives who pay lip service to truth, justice and due process do the right thing.

In Philadelphia, Anthony Wright also served more than two decades behind bars like Franklin. He was convicted in 1993 for a brutal rape and murder of an elderly woman. It was a female prosecutor, Bridget Kirn, who "failed to alert the Court or the jury to what she personally knew was the falsity of police detectives' testimony, or otherwise honor her ethical duty to correct it," according to Wright's lawyers with the Innocence Project. They have filed a lawsuit directly aimed at the prosecutor this week to hold her accountable for her criminal falsehoods.

And just this week, Oregonian Joshua Horner, serving a 50-year sentence for sexual abuse of a young girl, was exonerated after a dog that the accuser had claimed he shot dead was found alive. There had been no DNA, no corroborating witnesses and no other forensic evidence -- just the word of girl whose contradictions and memory problems were explained away as "post-traumatic stress" while an innocent man nearly drowned.

The idea that all women and girls must be telling the truth at all times about sexual assault allegations because they "have nothing to gain" is perilously detached from reality. Retired NYPD special victim squad detective John Savino, forensic scientist and criminal profiler of the Forensic Criminology Institute Brent Turvey, and forensic psychologist Aurelio Coronado Mares detail the myriad "prosocial" and "antisocial" lies people tell in their textbook, "False Allegations: Investigative and Forensic Issues in Fraudulent Reports of Crime."

"Prosocial deceptions" involve specific motives beneficial to both the deceiver and the deceived, including the incentives to "preserve the dignity of others," to gain "financial benefit" for another; to protect a relationship; "ego-boosting or image protection of others;" and "protecting others from harm or consequence.

"Antisocial" lies involve selfish motives to "further a personal agenda at some cost to others," including "self-deception and rationalization to protect or boost self-esteem;" "enhance status or perception in the eyes of others;" "garner sympathy;" "avoid social stigma;" "conceal inadequacy, error, and culpability;" "avoid consequence;" and for "personal and/or material gain."

Let me repeat the themes of my work in this area for the past two years to counter the "Believe Women" baloney:

The role of the press should be verification, not validation.

Rape is a devastating crime. So is lying about it.

The evidence also is moving in Kavanaugh’s favor. Two people accuser Christine Blasey Ford said were at the party at which the alleged assault took place deny being at any such party. One of those two people specifically denies being present or seeing Ford assaulted by Kavanaugh despite Ford saying he was present. A fourth person allegedly present has not been identified or come forward. The conduct of Senate dummycrats-Democrats on the Judiciary Committee is giving weak Republicans some backbone. Not only did Dianne Fein-stein sit on the accuser’s letter since July, she has not given Chuck Grassley an unredacted copy of the letter. It also comes out that the accuser met with her congresswoman, to whom she originally sent the letter, and also reached out to the Washington Post via a Tip Line. This all is looking more and more like a set up, a deliberate roll-out which started sometime in August...

Ford vs. Kavanaugh: There's Nothing to Investigate

The problem with that is that there is nothing to investigate. Christine Blasey Ford's claims don't involve rape; that's just her opinion of what was going on. She wasn't even undressed; her clothes weren't ripped; and once she got off the bed, the alleged rapist just let her walk away and eventually leave the house without any further problem. That's the worst-case scenario, assuming she's not lying. That sure sounds more like a drunk kid clumsily hitting on a girl who he thought was interested than a kid intent on raping a girl. It's bad, to be sure, but it's not "destroy a person's life decades later" bad. Forget that for a moment.  Let's assume that everything she's said is true. What could the FBI investigate? The bureau would have to find every house in the area where there had been a party for teens over a period of several years and see if anyone remembered anything. Remember: not only doesn't Christine Blasey Ford remember the house that this amazingly traumatic event occurred in, but she's not even sure what year it was. But what could any of those people remember? If Christine Blasey Ford isn't lying, there are only three possible witnesses: herself, Kavanaugh, and Judge. According to Christine Blasey Ford's account, whoever else – the number seems to be changing with time – was in the house would have no way of knowing if something had happened, since the stereo was too loud for anyone not in the room to hear her screams...

The report covers events during the previous calendar year... As in past assessments, State says that Iran “has allowed” al Qaeda to operate its key facilitation network on Iranian soil. “Iran remained unwilling to bring to justice senior al Qaeda (AQ) members residing in Iran and has refused to publicly identify the members in its custody,” Country Reports on Terrorism 2017 reads.* Moreover, “Iran has allowed AQ facilitators to operate a core facilitation pipeline through Iran since at least 2009, enabling AQ to move funds and fighters to South Asia and Syria.” The language closely mirrors that included in past State Department reports and statements, as well as in a series of terrorist designations issued by the Treasury Department. The paragraphs below borrow from previous reports on these official statements, including an article summarizing last year’s Country Reports on Terrorism. Hypocrisy: Dems Ignore scumbag-Ellison Accuser While Demanding Kavanaugh Probe 

by Thomas Gallatin:  dummycrats-Democrats who ignored accusations against their own are now loudly clamoring for the need to fully investigate the politically timed accusations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Recall this past August that Karen Monahan, former long-term girlfriend of current DNC Deputy Chairman Rep. scumbag-Keith Ellison (D-MN), accused him of domestic abuse. scumbag- Ellison, who is running for Minnesota attorney general, denied the allegations and the dummycrats-DNC offered nothing other than the standard “we’re looking into it” statement.

             Fast forward to Sen. Dianne Fein-stein’s (D-CA) last-minute accusation against Kavanaugh of an alleged incident from 36 years ago and none other thandummycrats-DNC Chairman Tom Perez, who has remained conspicuously silent regarding the claims against scumbag-Ellison, jumped into the fray. Perez declared Monday, “This is a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land and this serious allegation must be investigated thoroughly. The American people deserve answers, not a vote that is rammed through by Republicans. There is too much at stake.”
               Meanwhile, Monahan noted the dummycrats-Democrats’ blatant hypocrisy in their calls to believe women. She wrote, “No, they don’t. I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.” She added, “Four people, including my supervisor at the time, stated that I came to them after and shared the exact story I shared publicly, I shared multiple text between me and scumbag-Keith, where I discuss the abuse with him and much more. As I said before, I knew I wouldn’t be believed.”
               Monahan has company. When Sen. scumbag-Dick Durbin (D-IL) pontificated that “we must respect and listen to survivors of sexual assault,” Juanita Broaddrick replied, “Well, Dick, do I have a story for you. Once upon a time liar-Bill Clinton raped me.”
               It would appear that the “party for women” only listens to women when it helps to further its own political agenda.

Why would the Trump Administration take such a hard line against "the world's court of last resort"? Founded in 2002, in the wake of the Rwandan and Yugoslavian genocides and mass rapes, the international body was supposed to try evildoers who would otherwise escape justice due to broken legal systems in failed states. Opposing the court is not a new position for the U.S. or Ambassador Bolton. The Bush Administration  refused to sign the court's implementing treaty in 2003, contending that it would lead to trials of U.S. soldiers and spies by a politically turbo-charged body located in Europe. At the time, many European leaders opposed President Bush's war in Iraq and questioned its actions in the war on terror, including rendition and holding prisoners indefinitely at Guantanamo Bay. Ambassador Bolton was even more prescient. He warned, in 1998, when the formation of body was first being debated in Rome, that it would be ineffective, unaccountable and overly political. Now, U.S. soldiers may face charges for activities in Afghanistan. While the U.S. is not a signatory of the treaty, Afghanistan is, and the court claims jurisdiction over any actions taken there. If the ICC begins prosecuting American "war crimes" abroad, commanders will temper their battle plans, soldiers will become gun-shy and civilians will refuse to serve. America's sovereign right to defend itself will be weakened. As the world knows, Judge Kavanaugh, 17 years old at the time, is being accused of assaulting a 15-year-old Christine Blasey now Ford when both were in high school. Blasey did not report the incident to authorities or apparently anyone else at the time. Thus, no charges were filed much less was Kavanaugh prosecuted. Again, if the charges are true — and there is zero evidence that is the case, not to mention that Kavanaugh not only denies the incident but also that he was even at the party in question — true high schooler Kavanaugh was 17 years old at the time. As it happens, Senator  scumbag-Booker is a sponsor of something called the REDEEM Act — with the GOP’s Senator Rand Paul. The proposed legislation centers on expunging the records of juveniles convicted of non-violent crimes, thus ensuring some teenage mistake does not follow them for a lifetime. While what Kavanaugh is accused of presumably would be classified as “violent,” again, he was never charged much less prosecuted for this. But in an explanation of his concern for teenagers who get in trouble, as here at the Senator’s website, scumbag-Booker says this, bold print supplied: In other words? The activities of a 17-year-old Brett Kavanaugh, not to mention 15-year-old Christine Blasey, were the result of immature teenagers whose “decision-making functions” were impaired to begin with because they had brains that were not “fully” developed. Not to mention that if scumbag-Booker is literally sponsoring legislation that would make it the law of the land to seal youthful criminal records, there is no way that Ford’s 36-years later allegation — when no charges were even filed in the day — should be relevant in the first place. There is zero evidence — say again zero — that Kavanaugh has ever exhibited this behavior in his adult life. Say again, zero. To the contrary. By now, if you aren’t skeptical of Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school, then, frankly, we have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. dummycrats-Democrats raised this stink, now they refuse to smell it. Fein-stein and her colleagues are refusing to have anything to do with the congressional investigation into Ford’s accusations. If they truly cared about what Ford is alleging, they’d do their best to gather information. But it gets worse. Some Senate dummycrats-Democrats are privately upset that Fein-stein withheld Ford’s accusation for so long. Sen. Fein-stein held onto Ford’s letter for months and decided to air it just before the Kavanaugh vote. People are understandably suspicious of the timing. Washington isn’t a place where accidents usually happen. Where things go out with strike three is Christine Ford’s refusal to actually testify before Congress. Ford made it known that she will not be testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee and is demanding an FBI investigation into her claims first. This is nonsense on stilts. Ford made her allegations in July. If she wanted an FBI investigation, she should have asked then. There is absolutely no excuse for waiting until now to make this demand. { legalinsurrection.com } ~ When The Washington Post broke the story that Christine Blasey Ford was the person who accused Supreme Court nominee of assault dating back to high school, there were several aspects of the WaPo story that struck me as particularly strange.

First, there was a suggestion that this is a repressed and recovered memory case:

“Years later, after going through psychotherapy, Ford said, she came to understand the incident as a trauma with lasting impact on her life.”

If this is a case of repressed memory, then it changes everything. It’s a convenient explanation for why Ford said nothing to anyone for 30 years despite herself being a clinical psychologist. Repressed and recovered memory, however, is of questionable veracity and admissibility in court.

Second, that repressed memory allegedly was recovered in 2012 during couples’ therapy,

Ford said she told no one of the incident in any detail until 2012, when she was in couples therapy with her husband.

Why in couples therapy, not in individual therapy? That seems like an odd time to recover memory, particularly for a clinical psychologist who likely underwent or practiced various forms of psychological therapy during her long career.  This suggests that perhaps there was some marital problem which implicated an earlier trauma, if this story is true, or invented an earlier trauma as an excuse, if the story is not true.

Third, Ford volunteered the therapist’s notes to WaPo, but only selective portions chosen by Ford:

The therapist’s notes, portions of which were provided by Ford and reviewed by The Washington Post, do not mention Kavanaugh’s name but say she reported that she was attacked by students “from an elitist boys’ school” who went on to become “highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington.” The notes say four boys were involved, a discrepancy Ford says was an error on the therapist’s part. Ford said there were four boys at the party but only two in the room.

It seems odd for an alleged sexual assault victim to volunteer psychiatric records, particularly since the odious “nuts and sluts” defense so frequently is used against accusers. And why were only selective portions shared? This seems particularly calculating and defensively preemptive.

My gut tells me the therapy records hold a key to what did or did not happen here. Having voluntarily shared a part of those records with a newspaper, it’s hard for Ford to argue confidentiality.

It becomes even more important in light of Sen. Dianne Fein-stein’s statement today that Ford “is a woman that has been, I think, profoundly impacted, on this..I can’t say that everything is truthful. I don’t know.”

Kavanaugh already has agreed to testify under oath at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Monday, September 24, 2018. As of this writing, it’s not clear if Ford will appear though I assume she will.

Without the full couples therapy records Ford already partially shared with the Washington Post, I’m not sure we’ll ever really know how and why this allegedly repressed memory was recovered, or whether it actually is a memory.

Jawed came to Germany in 2015, while Abdul had arrived the year after in 2016. Both Jawed and Abdul were Afghan Muslim migrants. Both applied for asylum and had their asylum applications rejected. 

Abdul Mobin Dawodzai was recently sentenced to eight years in prison for stabbing to death Mia Valentin, a 15-year-old girl, to death. Jawed went to Amsterdam and stabbed two American tourists at the central station. 

Abdul was angry that Mia broke up with him. Jawed was angry about insults to Islam and Mohammed. 

Jawed’s German residence permit enabled him to carry out a terrorist attack in Amsterdam. He mentioned Geert Wilders, the pioneering Dutch leader who was recently forced to cancel a Mohammed cartoon contest due to violent Islamic threats, and so the media has chosen to blame the terrorist attack on Islamic cartoons rather than Islamic terrorists. But Jawed is part of a larger trend of Afghan violence. 

Both Jawed and Abdul carried out their stabbing attacks in public. The victims, a 15-year-old girl and American tourists, also brought more attention to a type of ordinary terror that has overtaken Europe. 

In March, Hussein Khavari, an Afghan refugee who had fled to Germany in 2015, was sent to prison for raping and murdering Maria Ladenburger, a 19-year-old German student. But Hussein wasn’t fleeing Afghanistan; he was fleeing Greece, where he had thrown a 20-year-old female student off a cliff after robbing her. The Greeks sentenced him to a decade in prison, but Hussein fled to Germany instead. 

Like Abdul, Hussein claimed to be a minor when he was actually in his twenties. He may not have even actually been from Afghanistan. 

Afghans, it’s been noted, stand out for their rate of violence, even among other Muslim migrants. 

A refugee expert warned in a National Interest article that, "young Afghan men... were committing sex crimes to a much greater extent than other refugees." Among the incidents she cited was, "a gang of fifty Afghans who terrorized women in the neighborhood of the Linz train station" in neighboring Austria. 

Train stations are a common venue for Afghan Muslim violence and abuses. A small sampling of sexual assaults committed by Afghan refugees last year in Germany, collected by Gatestone’s Soeren Kern, included, a sexual assault on an 19-year-old woman on a train station in Hamburg, two sexual assaults by one Afghan man on two trams in Mannheim, a sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl at a station in Munich, another assault in Munster, and two Afghans who sexually assaulted a 14-year old girl in Gera. 

Not to mention the three Afghan migrants accused of sexually assaulting a 12 and 14 year old at a swimming pool, and the Afghan refugee, and repeat offender, who raped a 13-year-old girl. 

Angela Merkel, Germany’s open borders leader, had briefly ramped up Afghan deportations in response to public outrage, until a massive bombing in Kabul last year led to yet another change in policy. 

The tanker truck bomb targeted the German embassy in Afghanistan’s capital, and succeeded in doing massive amounts of damage, even though German intelligence had 5 months of warning from four different sources. The German embassy had been warned 6 days before the attack and was able to evacuate staff ahead of time. Instead the bombing was exploited as a pretext for suspending the deportations of Afghans from Germany unless they were criminals or considered a serious threat. 

Merkel’s deportations had removed less than 200 Afghans from the country. But the bombing put an end to even that miniscule effort. 

The thousands of Taliban fighters who, according to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), had entered Germany and applied for asylum, could conveniently no longer be deported. 

Earlier this year, a German court sentenced Abdol Moghadas, an Afghan refugee, to four years in prison for his role in the death of Pfc. Christian Jacob Chandler: an American soldier serving in Afghanistan. 

Abdol was one of Germany’s many Taliban fighters. 

Why have so many Taliban gone to Germany? One answer might lie in the covert relationship between the Taliban and German intelligence. It was Germany who had pioneered diplomatic talks with the Taliban, and who had welcomed Taliban leaders onto German soil. 

It was certainly curious how German authorities had received every possible warning about a Taliban truck bomb whose sole impact was protecting thousands of Taliban in Germany from deportation, while giving German authorities the excuse to shut down the deportations they hadn’t wanted to carry out. 

The end of deportations didn’t just benefit the Taliban fighters, but failed asylum seekers like Jawed and Abdul who could no longer be deported even though their asylum applications had been turned down. Germany had sharply dropped its acceptance rate of Afghan asylum applications, while also dropping its deportation rate, leaving large numbers of legally illegal Afghan migrants to bum around Europe. 

Approximately six months later, Abdul killed Mia, and over a year later, Jawed struck in Amsterdam. 

"Terrorism has no borders," Merkel had declared after the bombing. But terrorism has borders. They're national borders. 

It's Merkel's Germany that has no borders. And it's the European Union's lack of borders that allowed Jawed to stab two American tourists in Amsterdam. When your country or continent has no borders, then terrorism will strike deep in your cities with no borders to slow it down or stop the carnage. 

Terrorism "targets all of us," Merkel had insisted. In "Manchester or Berlin, Paris, Istanbul, St. Petersburg or today in Kabul." 

But it’s only when there’s nothing stopping Taliban fighters on their way from Kabul to Berlin, from Istanbul to Paris, or from Tripoli to Manchester, that Islamic terrorism is truly a universal threat. 

Terrorism doesn’t have to be everywhere. Especially Islamic terrorism, which is not an indigenous political movement in Europe, Canada, Australia or America, but can only spread through migration. Without open borders, the infrastructure of Islamic terrorism, from immigrants, migrants and refugees, to mosques, which generate new converts, Islamic terrorism would be an issue in Kabul, not Berlin. 

Merkel’s insistence on linking the bombing in Kabul to terrorism in Europe had it backward. The suspension of deportations cost countless lives, among them, likely Mia’s, and likely led to the stabbings of two Americans in Amsterdam by a refugee traveling with a Germany residency permit and hate in his heart. The flow of Muslim migrants from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan brought terror to Europe. 

When there are no borders, when deportations are a toothless affair, when the rights of migrants matter more than those of the native population, then Islamic terrorism truly has no borders. 

The Amsterdam stabbings were a typical example of Merkel’s borderless terrorism.

Germany’s open borders attracted Jawed, Abdul, Hussein, Abdol and so many other asylum seekers. And then the EU’s internal open borders allowed Jawed to strike at American tourists in another European country. That’s what happens to ordinary people when terrorism has no borders. 

Terrorism can have borders. All you have to do to save lives is protect those borders.

Trump also ordered the declassification of FBI notes from interviews used in connection with the Page FISAs as well as notes from interviews with Bruce Ohr, the Justice Department official who met numerous times with Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-Trump dossier. Trump also demanded the release of Russia-related text messages from former FBI officials scumbag- James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page. ACT for America Declares Culture War

ACT's tenth-anniversary national security conference brought together over 200 ACT activists nationwide for a clarion call of political warfare to preserve American freedoms against myriad subversive Islamist and leftist threats.

Gabriel described how, since she founded ACT in 2002, "today the national security threat is no longer confined to radical Islamic terrorism." ACT is not a one-trick pony; rather, the group must contend with numerous others like Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and MS-13 gangs.  Against these criminal and totalitarian organizations, "ACT for America is today the largest grassroots national security organization in the country with one million members." 

Gabriel emphasized the stark polarization between the worldviews of freedom-loving conservative groups like ACT and their opponents. "Our enemy is dedicated to destroying us," she said. "No matter what you do, they are going to call you a hater." Accordingly, she dismissed appeals that "we need to convert the unconverted" with "don't waste your time" and focused on the mobilization of committed allies.  

Later in the afternoon, Zionist Organization of America national president Morton Klein echoed Gabriel's observations about leftist slanders. "Doesn't the left love to use that word, 'racist'?" he said while noting conference protesters outside. "Without that word, they would have nothing to say." So that should not happen that he would be able to take such an action. He certainly has the authority to do it, but I do think it is highly inappropriate, and I think everybody who knows these issues feels similarly. Secondly, to basically order the Department of Justice and the FBI to release this information, even that which was redacted earlier, it’s really just pushing this envelope, and I think it’s making a lot of law enforcement official, Department of Justice officials and intelligence community officials very concerned about the negative impact and consequences of doing that. So, yes, he has the authority to do these things. The question though is whether or not it is the right thing to do and whether it is something that Mr. Trump is just trying to continue to find ways to get himself out of the mess that he is currently in.” He added, “Christopher Wray, director of the FBI and Dan Coats, director of National Intelligence as well as Rod Rosenstein who is overseeing this investigation should push back against any directive that is going to have a negative impact on our capabilities as well as the investigation. So I think that they should continue to push, push, push. If Mr. Trump and the White House does not relent, then I think they have some decisions to make, whether or not they are going to the just not follow that direction and be fired or to resign. The combination of arrogance, hubris and desperation within a letter from the four dummycrats-Democrats on the intelligence oversight Gang of Eight, is palpable even in text format. Legislative branch members: Nancy Pulosi, Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer, scumbag-Adam Schiff and scumbag-Mark Warner write a letter today to Director  of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and FBI Director Christopher Wray, demanding the executive branch cabinet members withhold information from the White House. Perhaps more stunningly, and extra-constitutionally  (meaning outside the framework of constitutional separation of power), within the jaw-dropping letter the four dummycrats-Democrats outline previous verbal conversations and current agreements with Coats, Rosenstein and Wray where the Cabinet officers agreed to keep information away from the White House Chief Executive, the President...They have no legal rights to interfere with the rights of the President. If it was scumbag/liar-nObama they would be silent.

by Political Editors:  As the media circus surrounding Brett Kavanaugh continues, remember two things: For the mainstream media, the 24/7 churn is all about advertising dollars. For dummycrats-Democrats, this fight is all about duping women voters, regardless of the dubious merits of the allegations against Kavanaugh.

             That said, we turn to the editorial board of a Leftmedia bastion — the San Francisco Chronicle — for a rebuke of California dummycrats-Democrat Dianne Fein-stein’s despicably dirty play of a #MeToo dog whistle:
               Sen. Dianne Fein-stein’s treatment of a more than 3-decade-old sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was unfair all around. It was unfair to Kavanaugh, unfair to his accuser and unfair to Feinstein’s colleagues — dummycrats-Democrats and Republicans alike — on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
               Fein-stein, a California dummycrats-Democrat, took the worst possible course by waiting until almost a week after Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing was completed to ominously announce that she had turned over “information from an individual” about Kavanaugh to the FBI, and adding that she would be honoring the woman’s “strongly requested” confidentiality.
               Fein-stein has been around Washington long enough to know that her opaque statement guaranteed that the contents of the letter, sent by a Stanford law professor on behalf of the accuser, would be pursued and publicized in short order. And they were. …
               In concealing the accusation she had received in July, according to reports, Fein-stein did a disservice to her Judiciary Committee colleagues, who might have wanted to determine if corroborating accounts were available, or at least question Kavanaugh about the accusation in a closed session. Instead, Fein-stein’s colleagues were left in the dark.
               Sometimes the most effective rebuttal is to use the Left’s own words to expose an awful leftist scheme. However, we also must note, the Chronicle editorial is just as hard on Republicans for supposedly “obstructing”dummycrats-Democrats’ earnest vetting efforts because of their own “rush toward a confirmation vote.” The editors are, after all, in Nancy Pelosi’s backyard. And the editorial isn’t hard enough on Fein-stein for what wasn’t just the “worst possible course,” but rather a well-orchestrated obstructionist strategy formulated in June.
               More hearings are scheduled for Monday, in which we’ll all hear from both the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, and Kavanaugh himself.

Trump poised to win $5 billion to build border wall

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ President Trump and congressional leaders have agreed to a border wall funding showdown after the upcoming November midterm elections... and if he plays his cards right, it could result in $5 billion, more than twice what the White House initially sought. While appropriations bills are moving at the fastest pace in over 20 years, with many expected to be approved by Oct. 1, the start of the fiscal year, Homeland Security funding for the wall is likely to be delayed, said officials. Plans are already underway to approve temporary, “stopgap,” funding that will cover Homeland until its new spending is approved after the wall funding fight. However, in a good sign for the White House, the Senate has already locked in the $1.6 billion Trump sought this year in wall construction funding in a bipartisan vote and it will be included in the stopgap bill. The House is likely to approve $5 billion for the wall, matching Trump’s top level wish and setting up negotiations with the Senate. Threats of a shutdown over not getting full funding for the wall by Oct. 1, however, threaten to disrupt the plan agreed to at a recent White House meeting between Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Speaker Paul Ryan, according to a key official...

Anything less shows the dummycrats-Democrats are profoundly unserious about the allegations being made against Brett Kavanaugh... Over the weekend, Senator Dianne Fein-stein made waves by going public with accusations against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. First, she revealed that someone who knew Kavanaugh in high school accused him of sexually assaulting her. Then the accuser,  Christine Blasey Ford, actually came out publicly. Senator Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, says that Fein-stein isn’t answering his calls to set up a time for Ford to testify. If Ford is telling the truth, there is no reason to delay. Fein-stein is hurting her own credibility by not returning Grassley’s calls. We already knew dummycrats-Democrats weren’t serious about getting to the bottom of these allegations. Senator scumbag-Dick Durban already implied as much by suggesting that having Ford testify this week would be too soon. Let’s be very clear on this point: If Fein-stein took seriously Ford’s accusations, she would be working diligently to set up a testimony time. The fact that she’s delaying shows she didn’t actually care about Ford. This is all for political show...

Nunes Warns dummycrats-Dems Will Be

‘Frightened’ by Declassified Trump-Russia Documents

{ westernjournal.com } ~ House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said during a speech last week that President Donald Trump is close to declassifying documents... pertaining to the Trump-Russia investigation. Nunes, a California Republican, also warned that dummycrats-Democrats and journalists are likely to be “frightened” by the information contained in the warrants that were sought under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the Washington Free Beacon  reported. Nunes made the comments Thursday at an event hosted by the Center for Security Policy, where he informed his listeners that the FISA court warrants the president might soon declassify would probably be bad news for  dummycrats-Democrats. Should this declassification occur, it would come months after a July document release by the Justice Department that proved the multiple FISA court warrants for surveillance of Trump campaign member Carter Page leaned heavily on information compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. That dossier was later found to be compromised, which cast doubt to be cast on the process that allowed it to be considered as evidence.  Republicans accused the FBI of manipulating the use of FISA after it was found the dossier had been financed by dummycrats-Democrats and the liar-Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. The Washington Free Beacon  reported that Nunes’ speech was cause for hope among conservatives, as he informed his audience that dummycrats-Democrats likely have a lot to be nervous about. Nunes noted that dummycrats-Democrats have largely gone silent on the issue of the FISA documents since parts of them were released to the public...

Rep. Steve Scalise Pens Powerful

Condemnation of Political Violence

Steve Scalise came within a hair’s breadth of being killed by a left-wing lunatic who, judging by his social media diet, appeared to have been radicalized online... Scalise was shot at a congressional baseball game practice, and was listed as one of several Republican targets found in the killer’s possession. The media covered this near-tragedy like it was just another bump in the road of our politics; since it was “just” Republicans in harms’ way, there was certainly no reason to give a whole lot of publicity to this shocking moment of political violence. It wasn’t like that awful time a black guy got punched at a Trump rally, after all! In any case, Scalise penned a powerful essay this week calling on leaders in Washington to tone down their rhetoric and condemn political violence in all its forms. “No Americans should feel intimidated or at risk of violence for speaking their mind, or even doing something as simple as sharing their political party affiliation,” Scalise wrote. “Let me be clear: there is absolutely no place for violence or threats in our political discourse. We need a higher level of civility in our political debate. And it starts with us.” Without naming any names, Scalise skirted right up to the edge of calling out dummycrats-Democrats like Rep. scumbag/mad-Maxine Waters, who has publicly encouraged her followers to harass Trump administration employees wherever they can be found...

{ wnd.com } ~ If midterm election polls increasingly show that dummycrats-Democrats are poised to regain control of the House, then why are liberals in panic mode? What do they know that we don’t – or that they don’t want us to?

The highly touted opinion poll analyst, FiveThirtyEight, released an election update video reporting thatdummycrats-Democrats have an 82 percent chance of winning a majority of the House in November. The narrator breathlessly reveals that this is the first time their forecast has given the dummycrats-Democrats more than an 80 percent chance of winning the House since the launch of the model.

Yet an MSNBC panel was apoplectic over President Donald Trump’s approval rating, which remained constant despite an avalanche of negative news stories concerning legal developments on Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen. Some liberals were sure those would puncture Trump’s approval rating.

On “MTP Daily,” Katy Tur seemed unhinged. “Last week was a tidal wave of bad news for this presidency and this president, and his approval rating stayed the same,” said Tur. “So I wonder – I mean, if that’s not going to move the needle, is this rino-John McCain thing going to move the needle?”

Tur continued, “And forgive me for being skeptical because I was under the impression, as was most people, that when Donald Trump came out and said he wasn’t a war hero – he likes the guys that don’t get caught – back in 2015, that people would care. And when I went out and talked to Republican voters, they didn’t care at all.”

Jonathan Alter agreed, smugly asserting, “Republicans don’t care at all,” and saying that the 43 percent who approve of Trump are “so deluded as to believe this guy is a good president.”

Alter’s revelation did not soothe the gasping Tur, who said with dismayed incredulity, “Eighty-eight percent of Republicans still support him – 88 percent. I’m sorry, I just – I start to wonder when we have these conversations and we say, ‘Well, this is going to be the breaking point,’ I wonder if there is a breaking point. I wonder if enough people in this country find the actions and the behavior repulsive enough to want to change what’s going on.”

Evidently, then, dummycrats-Democrats aren’t as complacent as the poll numbers would seem to warrant. If they were, would they be reaching new heights of hysteria in condemning Trump, as when the Washington Post editors declared him “complicit” in Hurricane Florence? Or would former President scumbag/liar-nObama have re-emerged on the public scene to refute the public perception that Trump’s booming economy trumps his perpetual malaise?

They are nervous and, like Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, need an “insurance policy” against these polls. They have to make sure that not a day goes by without their reporting on falling skies – and attributing them to Trump.

Thankfully for Trump supporters, the Trump haters still don’t get it. Obviously, they feel superior in likening Trump’s inelastic support to a perverse tribalism and cultist attachment, but it is nothing of the kind. As long as they think it is, however, they’ll keep hammering away against Trump’s character, seeking to sever that stubborn bond that is driving many of them toward mental instability.

It’s no small irony that one of the major factors driving Trump supporters’ steadfast loyalty is the arrogance and outrageousness of the left. They expect support for Trump to evaporate because he supposedly exhibits the very type of extremism and unhinged conduct they display themselves – every single day. Pot, kettle, my friends.

They might have a plausible theory if Trump’s hardcore supporters constituted a smaller fraction of Republicans, but they are literally arguing that almost all Republicans are delusional and cult-like – that they put party above the national interest.

How likely is it that 90 percent of Republicans became insane overnight? That the ever-bumbling Trump according to the liberal media narrative cast a captivating spell on them from which they can’t escape?

Nope. The truth is that Republicans are witnessing how radical the dummycrats-Democratic Party has become and that these leftist policies were greatly damaging America. With their reasoning powers fully engaged, Republicans recognize that Trump is fighting to preserve the America they love, and that on a policy level at least, he is making major strides toward reversing scumbag/liar-nObama’s destructive course. While dummycrats-Democrats plead that they want to remove Trump because of his reputedly appalling manners and values, their real motive is to oust him because he has been so effective in thwarting their America-crushing juggernaut.

We’ll never know if these mainstream liberal mavens have inside knowledge that the midterm polls are slanted, but we know for a fact that liberals are not at all sure they believe the polls. And we all know what happened in 2016.
