Wow, who is missing the bus here! If we deregulate the medical insurance companies, they will have to do all of the work in conversions - this adds jobs & allows competition - the American way. But, NO, Obama wants to take over the insurance companies just like he did the auto companies (except Ford). Is his ego SO big that he has to push us into socialism? So how are we going to get the state & federal employees (congresses) into the same health care and retirement packages that they control? At at least they are talking about opening state borders to health insurance companies so we can buy from another company that has better coverage and the insurance companies bear the cost of reorganization. How many of our US constituents realize that those who are voting on Healthcare and Social Security in DC do not have to participate in these programs?Maybe if we took all of the $s from their private US employee/retiree programs and placed both $s and members into the public programs we would get better results from our lawmakers. These people who are deciding things for us are like the person who says "don't do as I do, do as I say," this is fine for a child under 10 years but last I heard they didn't vote. All US citizens need to live by the same rules!Big question ... how do you get this change through the very people who would have to vote on it? Maybe 'we the people' need to force through TERM LIMITS so that government officials are not so focused on their professional aspirations and their pockets. How many of us feel our US state and federal officials are really there representing all of the views of their constituents - I for one do not. Let's recycle congress instead of listening to sound bytes that get their faces on the television!
