What do the statues of Gen. Robert E. Lee and Lt. Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest, Richard Spencer’s speech at Auburn University, the expelled student from the University of Alabama and former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe have in common?  Let’s examine that commonality.

Without a tangible act of racism, racism becomes a purely emotional feeling. The fact that someone’s emotional feeling leads them to believe “something” is racist and that “something” leads to a feeling of difference in capability or superiority of a race doesn’t define that “something” as racist.  It actually exposes a person’s lack of self-confidence that they are an equal in status, race and capability. In no way am I trying to say that an emotional feeling doesn’t hurt a person psychologically.

In the case of the University of Alabama student that just got expelled, the university is facing possible legal exposure for violating the free speech rights of its former student.  Sure her comments were horrible, no question. But without a tangible act that someone (i.e., the University of Alabama) can prove that she committed discrimination against a person, her comments constitute free speech, no matter whether you and I agree that they were horrible.  Her comments did not advocate violence or bodily harm toward anyone.  The university has a law school full of attorneys, and I fear the university will need them.  What’s going to be interesting to see is whether a UA law school grad represents the university and a UA law school grad/trial lawyer represents the girl suing the university.

For that reason Richard Spencer was allowed to speak at Auburn following a federal judge’s ruling mentioned in the Washington Post that prohibited Auburn from canceling his speech.

Police were quoted in the student paper, “Based on an assessment of possible civil unrest and criminal activity during a requested event, it is the opinion of the Auburn Police Division that allowing Mr. Richard Spencer to proceed with his appearance at Foy Hall on April 22, would pose a real threat to public safety.”

Cameron Padgett, identified in court documents as an Atlanta-area resident, paid $700 to rent the 400-seat Foy Auditorium at Auburn for Spencer to speak.  Padgett sued Auburn, which as a public institution must adhere to the First Amendment’s free speech guarantees. The lawsuit stated: “Various minority advocacy groups of Jews, blacks and immigrants and left-wing/liberal groups demanded that no forum be afforded for the expression of views that contradict their own and which they find unhelpful for their identity group agendas and political agendas.”

Spencer previously advocated for an all-white country, in a 2013 speech, “We need an ethno-state, so that our people can ‘come home again,’ can live amongst family and feel safe and secure.”

U.S. District Judge W. Keith Watkins in Montgomery, Alabama, barred Auburn from blocking Spencer, stating there was no evidence that he advocates violence.  “Discrimination on the basis of message content cannot be tolerated under the First Amendment,” he wrote in the ruling.

The inanimate statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia, has stood since its dedication in 1924 peacefully without murdering, maiming or lynching anyone for the last 94 years.  The inanimate statue of Lt. Nathan Bedford Forrest in Memphis, Tennessee, installed in 1998, has stood since its installation peacefully without murdering, maiming or lynching anyone for the past 20 years.

The statues should be afforded protection just as the free speech right(s) of those who worked to fund, build and erect the statues in the first place, to honor these two war heroes as Judge Watkins ruled in the Auburn Speech Event of Richard Spencer.  Nowhere in historical descriptions of the dedication of the statues, writings, inscribements upon or otherwise is violence found to be expressed or implied.  I hate to draw the conclusion between the statues and Spencer, but the legal precedent requires such conclusion for the sake of the monuments and the honoring of the two men in particular.  Of concern is the Tennessee state law prohibiting the reference of Forrest’s statue and grave site.

And to think the Governor of Virginia directly threatened to assault and/or punch the President of the United States so that “you’d have to pick him up off the floor,” and has not been charged at the time of this article.  Federal law according to 18 U.S. Code § 871 – Threats against President and successors to the Presidency, states the following:  ‘(a) Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

Message to Attorney General Jeff Seesions:  Please print this off as your justification to issue an arrest warrant for Terrance Richard McAuliffe.  Subject known to be the former Governor of Virginia, white male, approximately 60 years of age who recently resided in or near the City of Richmond, Virginia.  Also attached below is video evidence expressing the willful threat against President Donald J. Trump and the intent to inflict bodily harm to the President of the United States according to 18 U.S. Code § 871.  Because free speech may protect speech or views we do not like, it does not protect one from professing violence and/or bodily harm.  Especially if it’s against the President of the United States.

GOP lawmakers demand that 'alarming' memo on FISA abuses be made public

A four-page memo circulating in Congress that reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses is being described by lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia.

Speaking with Fox News, the lawmakers said they could not yet discuss the contents of the memo they reviewed on Thursday after it was released to members by the House Intelligence Committee. But they say the memo should be immediately made public.

“It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said.

“It's troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said he believed people could lose their jobs after the memo is released.

“I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” he said, referencing DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr.

“You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That's how alarming it is,” Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry said.

The House voted to renew FISA, a key foreign surveillance program after a heated floor debate, and amid mixed messages from President Trump about his support. But what is the FISA act?

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday approved a motion by New York Rep. Pete King to release the memo on abuses of FISA, or the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, to all House members.

HEAD OF HOUSE INTELLIGENCE PANEL FINDS EVIDENCE OF ABUSE IN US GOVERNMENT SURVEILLANCE

A source close to the matter said the memo details the Intelligence Committee’s oversight work for the FBI and Justice, including the controversy over unmasking and FISA surveillance.

The vote Thursday morning on releasing the memo to lawmakers was along party lines, with Democrats voting against making it available for all members.

The process for releasing it to the public involves a committee vote, a source said. If approved, it could be released as long as there are no objections from the White House within five days.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told Fox News in December that his investigators have already uncovered evidence of abuse in the U.S. government's surveillance practices.

“I believe there's evidence that abuses have occurred," Nunes said at the time.

Nunes pointed to the leaked conversation of former national security adviser, Gen. Mike Flynn with the Russian ambassador.

On Thursday, the Senate voted 65-34 to reauthorize a FISA provision that allows U.S. spy agencies to conduct surveillance on foreign targets abroad for six years. The bill, which already has been passed by the House, now heads to the White House, where President Donald Trump has said he will sign it into law.

Democrats demand immigration amnesty or military gets no funding after Friday

As the government faces the threat of another shutdown at midnight on Friday – one where members of the military would be forced to show up for work but not get paid – politicians struggle to propose a stopgap budget that most can agree on.

Approval for funding is stalled in Congress, where Republicans are trying to garner support for a bipartisan agreement while Democrats refuse to budge on immigration issues. Democrats are even refusing to support a short-term funding bill unless it includes their immigration demands, including the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which President Donald Trump recently announced he would end.

In the event of a government shutdown, military service members would be furloughed and paid retroactively whenever normal operations of the government resumed. An extended shutdown can significantly impact the military and other “essential government workers” who will run late on bills and many other obligations.

Right before the 2013 government shutdown, then-President Barack Obama signed the Pay Our Military Act, which made sure that military service members got paid during the shutdown.

Trump told Reuters on Wednesday that the current short-term proposal is “very, very weak” regarding changes to the legal immigration system.

And he tweeted Thursday that CHIP, or the Children’s Health Insurance Plan, shouldn’t be a part of any short-term budget proposal.

“CHIP should be a part of a long term solution, not a 30 Day, or short term, extension,” he tweeted

One thing almost everyone agrees on is that the military will suffer the most from yet another stopgap budget, one that would only cover a 4-week period.

Trump also tweeted on Thursday that a shutdown would be “devastating” to the military – “something the Dems care very little about,” he wrote.

On Jan. 12, Trump had tweeted: “… Because of the Democrats not being interested in life and safety, DACA has now taken a big step backwards. The Dems will threaten ‘shutdown,’ but what they are really doing is shutting down our military, at a time we need it most.”

“We are here to support our country’s military,” Trump told reporters at the Pentagon on Thursday. “If the country shuts down, which very well could be, the budget should be handled a lot differently than it has been handled over the last long period of time, many years. But if for any reason it shuts down, the worst thing is what happens to our military.”

“We need that now almost more than at in any time in the past,” Trump added, referring to efforts to rebuild the military.

On Sunday, Trump had said the military would be hurt “badly” by a government shutdown.

“I don’t know if there will be a shutdown. There shouldn’t be, because, if there is, our military gets hurt very badly,” Trump told reporters. “We cannot let our military be hurt.”

On Wednesday, when he appeared on Fox News, Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis criticized Democrats for putting the military’s budget in jeopardy.

“I think it would be absolutely hazardous for Democrats to block funding for our troops, for our military equipment simply because they’re demanding benefits for illegal immigrants,” DeSantis said. “It just shows you that they care more about illegal immigrants than they do about our American military. So I think we should call their bluff. I think a lot will end up folding.”

The military has an unfortunate history of having to deal with stopgap budgets – the Defense Department has been forced to operate under continuing resolutions, or CRs – short-term budgets while a longer-term budget is created – for the past nine years, rather than have an actual yearly budget.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine Gen. Joe Dunford said Wednesday that the Defense Department needs “stability and predictability.”

“A CR this year would be below the level of projected funding,” he said. “In other words, the ’18 budget would be a decrease in what the President’s projected budget would be.” This would mean a lower spending level for the military, not to mention that the department would be going four months into fiscal year 2018 at that lower budget.

The current CR runs out at midnight on Friday, Jan. 19.

“This is the ninth straight year with a continuing resolution,” Dunford said. “That lack of predictability and that lack of stability in the budget has not allowed us to most efficiently plan and use the resources available to us.”

Trump in December signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which will give the U.S. Military its largest pay raise in seven years, since 2010.

The NDAA calls for a $700 billion Pentagon budget and includes a 2.4-percent pay raise for troops, an increase in the number of troops, and increased spending for aircraft and ships as part of the Fiscal Year 2018 budget.

The NDAA sets the budget but does not provide funding, which Congress must do and is struggling to do. Trump urged Congress to pass legislation that will fund the defense budget in full.

The budget calls for an additional 20,000 troops; funding for weapons systems, retention pay and bonuses; and repairs for Navy ships such as the USS John S. McCain and the USS Fitzgerald, which were both involved in deadly collisions last year.

This is the largest proposed military budget to date, particularly the most significant budget to be passed during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Congress still has to come up with a definitive plan to fund the $700 billion budget. It has has to approve a defense budget cap increase – the Department of Defense Appropriations Act – in order to accommodate the proposed NDAA. The Act has already been passed in the House.

2017 Myths vs Facts
NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

Thursday, January 18, 2018
If you listen to the mainstream news media and the socialist left, you could become very depressed. Everything is characterized from the lens of racism, homophobia, misogyny, Islamophobia, bigotry, and scare tactics about how the economy is going to tank under President Donald Trump. These soldiers of "resistance" spend a great deal of time spinning narratives, using partial facts and slanting coverage of events in an attempt to brainwash the public into thinking that America is bad, white Americans are bad, and that anyone who supports the President or even parts of his agenda are terrible, even deplorable, people. There are a lot of myths being spun that don't mesh with the facts.

The President, through the Republican Party website, has listed the Top 11 "fake news" stories of 2017. The New York Times, ABC News, Time, CNN, the Washington Post, and Newsweek made the list, some of them several times. Early on, the talking points of the fake news media were that the stock market and economy would never recover from the Trump election. The racist narrative was promoted by TIME by falsely reporting that Trump had removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office. The Washington Post took pictures of a sold out Trump rally before it started and reported that the arena was empty. There were several stories that had to be retracted about the Trump "Russian connection."

While these stories were played and re-reported throughout the days and weeks to millions upon millions, they were all false. Notwithstanding, they served to whip up a frenzy among those who present themselves as educated and informed against the rest of the nation who they consider deplorables. The facts are a different, less reported story. Just today, unemployment numbers are reported the lowest since 2000 and perhaps since the 1970s. The economy has created some 2 million jobs and generated $8 trillion in wealth since the inauguration. African Americans and Hispanics are employed by the largest numbers since these statistics have been recorded.

There are many more positive accomplishments by the Trump Administration while over 90% of the media coverage has been negative or spinning yarns of untruths. What president has recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? We also haven't heard much about the Islamic State's murderous activities-could it be because Trump's military has killed them off? From Supreme Court and lower court nominees to regulation reduction to cutting funding for the terrorist operation called the Palestinian Authority, Trump has delivered. Yet the media and leftists remain an Isaiah 59:6-7 people, "...their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil..." Let's seek the truth and believe it instead of believing those who seek to ruin others with their lies spun as truth.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

U.S. Deportation in 2017: New Report

by J. Krishna Moorthi:

The implementation of tougher immigration laws in the U.S. during the first year of the Trump presidency has resulted in a 30% increase in arrests, compared to the previous year, but deportations have decreased. The overall number of illegal immigrants deported from the .U.S. in 2017 fell from 2016, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Meanwhile, a report released by the administration linked its case for changing the immigration policy to national security and the ability of the immigrants to assimilate.

An official, speaking on background Tuesday morning, said 402 of the 549 people convicted of international terrorism-related charges in the U.S., since September 11, 2001, were foreign born.  “Those who come to this country must love this country, should speak English…,” the official said, promising measures to ensure that only those who can contribute to the country’s prosperity and can assimilate will be allowed to immigrate.

ICE has said its enforcement raids targeting illegals will continue in 2018.

Last week ICE agents raided dozens of stores and arrested over 20 undocumented workers.

Describing the raids as “a harbinger of what’s to come,”  Derek N. Benner, acting head of the ICE Homeland Security Investigation, said, “This is what we’re gearing up for this year and what you’re going to see more and more is these large-scale compliance inspections, just for starters.”

The U.S. deported 226,000 people in 2017, compared to 240,000 in 2016, and a vast majority of them were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. ICE has said the decrease in deportation is due to prevention at the border and reduction in attempts by people to enter the U.S. illegally, given the tough enforcement.

Breaking: Ted Cruz With Heart-Shattering Speech – The Internet Erupts

US Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) took part in a hearing titled, ‘Terrorism and Social Media: #IsBigTechDoingEnough?’ He is member of the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. The hearing was examining the methods social media platforms are taking to fight the spread of extremist propaganda over social networks and the Internet in general.

Cruz’s line of questioning was full of surprises, and he talked about his concerns about social media platforms’ decisions to shut down or stifle political speech (and preach).
“The pattern of political censorship we are seeing across the technology companies is highly concerning. And the opening question I asked of whether you are a neutral public forum — if you are a neutral public forum, that does not allow for political editorializing and censorship. And if you are not a neutral public forum, the entire predicate for liability immunity under the CDA [Communications Decency Act] is claiming to be a neutral public forum, so you cannot have it both ways,” Cruz said.

Four witnesses had their word at the hearing, including Monika Bickert, Head of Global Policy Management, Facebook; Juniper Downs, Global Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, YouTube; Carlos Monje, Director, Public Policy and Philanthropy, U.S. & Canada, Twitter; Clinton Watts, Robert A. Fox Fellow, Foreign Policy Research Institute.

We bet that Cruz will gain a few supporters here and there. He made a few good remarks, and let’s just say that many Americans liked his views.

What do you think about this? Do you agree with Ted Cruz?

CNN went to Downtown Youngstown and interviewed five Democrats who voted for Trump, they were trying to create the narrative that Trump supporters  no longer support President Trump. When CNN Fake News's Martin Savidge asked, "We're one year ahead, how is he (Donald Trump) doing?" They all responded great or one person "Better than I have ever imagined."
CNN's Fake News Martin Savidge said, "What about the lies, do you think he is a liar." CNN's Martin Savidge is really trying hard to make Trump look bad but CNN is failing miserably. They all said he hasn't lied.
One Trump fan said, "Industries are booming, everywhere I look." CNN's Fake News Martin Savidge said, "If you look around here you don't see a boom." The Trump fan responded, "In small businesses they are starting to pick up." Fake News CNN's Martin Savidge said, "Does the media give the President a fair shake?" One Trump fan started laughing, and said not at all. As you can see, this is another desperate try to make Trump look bad after it turned out he is a stable genius.

The Biggest Winners of Trump's First Year Are Moms

The Biggest Winners of Trump's First Year Are Moms

This week marks the first full year of Donald Trump’s presidency. While the media would have you believe he is the worst president in history and his policies are literally destroying the world, the fact is, like him or not, the American people have had some really big wins this first year—and the biggest winners are moms!

For those of us who determined it a complete waste of time to try and navigate through the sea of nonsense to find the real news, I, as a mom, thought it prudent to give a true accounting of Trump’s first year—and why it was such a big year for moms.

Net Neutrality

Net Neutrality is a carefully crafted name which in practice did the exact opposite of anything neutral. In spite of the claims that is was about fairness, freedom, and low prices, it actually regulated something that was already free and restricted it—allowing the government to determine who succeeded and failed; who was allowed to use it and who wasn’t. This was a direct hit on moms who have become the biggest beneficiaries of the worldwide web.

Prior to the Industrial Revolution women often used their skills and talents to earn income. It helped support struggling families and allowed them opportunities to do what they enjoyed. It was the best anti-depressant for a tough life—doing what you love and sharing the rewards with your family. The Industrial Revolution brought new innovation and cheaper prices for products which made selling hand-made soap door to door less appealing to for the seller and less practical for the buyer. It wasn’t the end of homemade businesses but it certainly stunted the growth. Rosie the Riveter put a new face on women earning incomes and the sexual revolution thrust women outside the home to “make their own money”—often times doing things they didn’t enjoy—but it was income.

The internet changed all that. With Facebook, Etsy, Pinterest, EBay, and the myriad of other platforms available, the mom market has literally exploded. The little guy—or little gal in this case—was suddenly given a powerful platform to compete with the big boys—and win! Despite what Hillary Clinton and the radical feminists would have us believe, what mothers want most isn’t the right to kill their own offspring, but the opportunity to be with them.

When we founded HomeMakers for America in 2004 we would receive at least two to three emails a week from women wanting to know if we knew of any opportunities where they could work from home. Since then the internet has grown to epic proportions giving mothers the opportunity to use their talents, market their skills, and earn their own income, while still being home with their children. Net Neutrality was a government mandated mass of regulations with a bunch of people sitting around a table deciding who would and wouldn’t succeed, who could and couldn’t open businesses, and what those businesses could and couldn’t do. Of course big companies loved Net Neutrality—it allowed them to use the government to stifle competition. Brick and mortar stores are closing and downsizing all over the country because moms are highly successful in selling everything from clothes to candy from their kitchen tables via the internet. Brick and mortar stores are being driven to the internet by the market and forced to compete with moms like Victoria Molyneux who started selling dresses on Facebook so she could stay at home with her daughter and now runs a multi-million dollar label with A-list fans.

You know something hinky is going on when the big supporters of Net Neutrality are the government and big established corporations. Even my millennial son realized the fraud of Net Neutrality when he received an email from Netflix stating without Net Neutrality they wouldn’t have become the business they are today—even though they grew into the business they are today before Net Neutrality was ever conceived.

Ending Net Neutrality was a big win for the American people—especially the millions of mom bloggers, shoppers, and business owners that now thrive on a—once again—free and open market through the internet.

Taxes

No matter what anyone says or how the media tries to convince us otherwise, the American people pay way more than enough taxes! While the Tax Reform Bill passed by congress doesn’t come close to reaching my ideal tax plan (which includes repealing the 16th Amendment) it is a big step in the right direction (especially in today’s political climate) and another huge win for moms.

A few years ago I spoke with a mom from Ohio who was extremely frustrated after receiving a bill from her children’s public school for mandatory school fees and a list of supplies she was required to provide for each child. She had just returned from paying an accountant to help her navigate through an overcomplicated tax form. After calculating all the taxes she and her husband paid that year—federal income tax, state income tax, county income tax, property tax, and a tax to the city her husband worked in simply for the privilege of driving into work every day, they found they still owed $350. She was obviously frustrated and perplexed to receive a bill from the school. After paying all those taxes, and barely making ends meet, her obvious question was, “what exactly am I paying taxes for?”

Saying families are taxed to death is an understatement and moms really feel the pinch. Especially hard hit are single moms struggling to be everything for everyone. Many moms feel forced into the workplace to supplement a struggling family income and those who choose to work outside the home often have to work longer hours and harder shifts to make enough money to make it worth it.

The bottom line is, it’s our money. It is our life, time, and energy spent to earn it and our right to own it. Any policy that takes less tax money from families is a good policy that directly benefits moms. That makes moms the biggest winners of the Trump Tax Reform. And I personally am very much looking forward to spending half of that $1,000 bonus my husband is now getting.

When President Obama mandated schools in America to provide transgender bathrooms and locker rooms, moms came out in mass protest. We’d already been bombarded with Common Core and Comprehensive Sex Education. Forcing open-sex bathrooms on our children was the final straw.

It is important that we use correct language and empathy weighed against Constitutional authority when discussing this issue. Case in point, there is no such thing as a transgender bathroom because there is no bathroom with a transgender label on it. There are, however, unisex and family bathrooms available in many places which those struggling with gender identity can use. An open-sex bathroom policy is one that allows men to use women’s bathrooms and women to use men’s. It is as simple as that. If stores like Target want to create an environment that makes moms and children feel unsafe that is totally their right as a private business—just as it is my right to choose not to shop there. But when you are required by law to send your children to a publicly-funded, government-mandated school where you can be jailed and/or have children taken away for not sending them (unless you have a government-approved alternative) that is a much different issue.

Open sex bathrooms and locker rooms put all children in an unsafe environment where the potential for compromising situations increases dramatically. While President Obama decided to use our children as political pawns, President Trump decided to support moms and their children and revoked President Obama’s mandate.

It is important to understand that no president has the right or authority to force any school, school district or teacher to do anything. All the president can do is bribe or blackmail schools with our own tax money. Which is why we need to completely disband the Department of Education but that’s an article for another day. Bottom line is, President Obama threatened to withhold tax-payer money from schools that didn’t comply to his will and President Trump stated that would not be a requirement to schools receiving tax-payer money. Now the battle of the bathrooms is back in the local districts where it belongs and where we as moms are close enough to fight it. That is a huge win for moms.

I have a hard time believing President Trump hates women when he’s already done more to support women and women-owned businesses his first year in office than Hillary Clinton or feminism has done in my entire lifetime.

Let’s be clear (to coin a phrase) Trump is neither the savior nor the devil. He is just a man serving in a constitutional office. He, like anyone serving in public office, should be evaluated by his policies, not how many cokes he drinks, who enters a door first, or what shoes his wife wears.

Like him or not, whether you voted for him or not, you can’t deny there are great things happening in America. So let’s focus on the real news, measure Trumps performance in fairness and equity—weighing his policies next the Constitution, and give credit where credit is due

A ‘Dreamer’ Who Killed 2 Cops Smiles During Trial – ‘I Wish I Killed More Of Those Motherf***ers’

Videos https://clashdaily.com/2018/01/dreamer-killed-2-cops-smiles-trial-wish-killed-motherfers/

Dear ‘Sanctuary’ peeps… Do you want a ‘bad hombre’ whose only regret is that he didn’t kill more cops living in your city?

No?

Why not?

After all, ‘no one is illegal’, right?

Riddle me this, if it’s ok for him to violate immigration law, what makes it wrong for him to kill cops? That’s against the law, too. Do we get to pick and choose now?

After all, this bro has come to this country following his dream and we have to consider the situation from all perspectives, right? Just because his dream is to kill lots of cops, who are we to judge?

Let’s not be judgmental haters.

Watch cop-killer Luis Bracamontes and you be the judge:

Here is the USA Today profile of the killed deputies as well as an overview of the crime:

His defense lawyer was pretty clear in his opening statement.

There’s never been much dispute over whether Luis Bracamontes shot and killed two Sacramento-area deputies in October 2014.

He has repeatedly admitted to it in court hearings, and at the start of his trial Tuesday his own lawyer essentially convicted the illegal immigrant of killing Sacramento sheriff’s Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer sheriff’s Deputy Michael Davis Jr. in a daylong spree of violence that started in a Motel 6 parking lot near Arden Fair Mall.

“Let me be clear and up front,” public defender Jeffrey Barbour told the jury hearing his case. “Mr. Bracamontes is responsible for the death of Deputy Danny Oliver and Detective Michael Davis.

“He shot them both.”

Bracamontes is charged with killing two sheriff’s deputies, as well as shooting a motorist in the head to steal his car, and wounding a third deputy with a gunshot to the arm.

Bracamontes giggled through the proceedings and then made his own statement.

I wish I had killed more of the mother——-,” he boasted to the jury as prosecutor Rod Norgaard described the outbreak of violence.

Smiling broadly, Bracamontes added, “I will break out soon and I will kill more, kill whoever gets in front of me … There’s no need for a f—— trial.

That outburst led to Sacramento Superior Court Judge Steve White briefly removing the jury, then warning Bracamontes.

“You will not disrupt this trial, you will not speak out,” White told him. “If you do, you will be removed from the courtroom.”

Of course, the defense has tried to use the ‘mentally unfit to stand trial’ argument.

Barbour, who along with partner Norm Dawson has questioned Bracamontes’ sanity, then asked the judge to reconsider his finding that Bracamontes is mentally competent to stand trial.

“Your motion is denied,” White told Barbour. He then had the jury come back in and instructed them not to pay any attention to what had happened. All of them indicated they could do so, and Norgaard concluded his opening statement just before noon.

Barbour and Dawson then renewed their efforts, asking the judge outside the presence of the jury if they could enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.

“We believe Mr. Bracamontes’ outbursts, his laughter, are a function of his mental illness,” Barbour said.

Bracamontes is facing either the death penalty or life in prison for his crimes. Oh, and so is his wife. It’s like a 2 for 1 deal.

Bracamontes, 37, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, is on trial along with his wife, Janelle Monroy, 41. She faces a possible sentence of life in prison.

Part of the evidence defense attorneys hope will spare Bracamontes from the death penalty is the fact that after his arrest a blood test found an “excessively high” amount of methamphetamine in his system that may have made him paranoid and agitated, and that he wrote a suicide note in the house where he holed up before surrendering to authorities.

“Forgive me, God,” the note read. “Please take me with you. I love you, Janelle.”

Prosecutors say the suicide note was written after Bracamontes turned on the burners of the home’s gas stove and tried to have it ignite to kill him and any officers who rushed in. Instead, Bracamontes crawled out of the house and surrendered meekly.

Bracamontes continued his outbursts throughout the proceedings.

As Norgaard described the ambush slaying of Oliver, he recounted how Oliver’s partner, Scott Brown, came under heavy fire as he emptied his 15-round clip at Bracamontes in the Motel 6 parking lot near Arden Fair Mall on Oct. 24, 2014.

Brown retreated under heavy fire, Norgaard said. As he talked, Bracamontes grinned and, finally could not restrain himself.

“Coward,” Bracamontes said of Brown, who had just seen his partner killed.

At one point, as Norgaard described the wounding of Jeff Davis (no relation to slain Deputy Michael Davis), Bracamontes interrupted again with, “Cause he’s stupid.”

That drew a sharp rebuke from the judge: “Be silent.”

Wow.

This is the problem, sanctuary folks, guys like this come into the country, too.

That’s why the GOP want to enforce immigration laws. Not because we believe that every single person trying to come to the United States are criminals, but because some are.

That’s why it’s important to screen new immigrants. Just allowing anyone in because it ‘seems wrong’ to keep them out instead puts everyone at risk.

Go ahead and tell the loved ones suffering the loss of Deputy Oliver and Deputy Davis — their wives, kids, parents, siblings, and even their fellow officers — why we should let in more people the same way that Bracamontes came in.

Good luck with that.

There’s one thing that increasingly unites men and women these days. We can both agree that Liberals are losing their ever-loving minds. Now there’s a shirt that says just that.

Conveniently available in Both Ladies…

AND Men’s versions.

Either Liberals just don’t get it, or they are sick in the head. Probably both. Think about it: They want to have all of the blessings that come with living in a capitalist society such as modern medicine and technology. But they believe in socialism, which stifles innovation and progress.

They want to be protected by the police and the military, but they attack and criticize the men and women who protect us. They call conservatives “racists,” but it’s their own identity politics that have created race problems in the first place. After all, Democrats were the party of slavery!

They attack hunters, but have no problem wearing leather shoes or owning cars with leather upholstery! And of course, they believe guns kill people. Not the people that pull the trigger.

Well, here’s a shirt that sums it perfectly. Liberalism is a… MENTAL DISORDER.

And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!

Ladies, get yours here.

Bros, click here, instead.

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.

TOM FITTON WARNS: “Tsunami of Information” Set To Expose “Obama/Clinton/Deep State Scandals” (VIDEO)

Echoing statements he made on Fox News program “Hannity” last week, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton warned on Tuesday that a “tsunami of information” exposing “Obama/Clinton/Deep State scandals,” will soon be released.

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/pjimage-54-1-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" width="600" height="338" />

Joined by Fox News contributor Sara Carter, Fitton told Sean Hannity:

“I think there’s going to be, as Sara’s indicating, a tsunami of information coming out on all of these scandals. We have the court ruling that the Clinton emails need to be released more quickly. So, we’re going to get all these Clinton emails that she tried to hide or delete […..] Or as we found on the Weiner laptop, classified information and pay-to-play, which I guarantee is going to be coming out. And then we had the court just yesterday talk about how he wants the Comey memos, because he wants to review the Comey memos, which are the genesis of the Mueller operation […] It’s all building. There are text messages they are talking about. Now we are going to find out more details about the FISA, the intelligence surveillance abuses.”

Judicial Watch recently announced a federal judge ordered the State Department to speed up the release Hillary Clinton’s 72,000 pages of email records.

The records will be released September 28th, 2018 — not in 2020.

Reporter Sara Carter recently told Fox News host Sean Hannity that the Inspector General’s report will be released sometime in January, however, the deadline may have been quietly pushed back.

As The Gateway Pundit‘s Jim Hoft reported, The Department of Justice turned over some of the 1.2 million documents requested by lawmakers this past week.

The documents are related to the Obama Justice Department’s activities during the 2016 election.

Additionally, According to the Daily Caller, Nunes and the House Intel Committee reviewed all FBI and DOJ docs on the dossier including the FISA apps.

It’s all coming together.

Fitton took to YouTube Monday to report Clinton, was “hiding everything on her private email server.”

The “everything,” Fitton is referring to may hold the key to a plethora of scandals surrounding Clinton, everything from the FBI’s handling of her email investigation to alleged pay-to-play scheme between the Clinton Foundation and State Department agencies. Fitton’s latest video begs the question: why is the Trump State Department taking its sweet time to release the rest of Clinton’s emails while she was Secretary of State?

Releasing the documents will only further granulize Clinton’s corrupt practices, lending even MORE evidence that the Justice Department must finally get serious about investigating Hillary.

Fitton’s latest report underscores an important and unfortunate reality: not enough attention is being paid to the original Clinton email scandal — the missing 33,00 emails.

The Daily Jot - What about DACA?

Daily reporting and analysis of current events from a biblical and prophetic perspective

What about DACA?
NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

Wednesday, January 17, 2018
The Democrats are threatening to shut down the government if they don't get their way on allowing kids brought here illegally by their illegal immigrant parents to stay in America. President Donald Trump is trying to deal with securing the borders and this endless chain of illegal migration to our nation. There is a relatively small group of people who are affected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals that the previous "president" put into place. By some accounts there are roughly 700,000. Pew Research estimates that 70,000 were rejected from the program, and 40,000 obtained a green card. Notwithstanding, this group of people and what to do with them is causing yet another meltdown among leftists.

Immigration law firms and advocacy groups put actual eligibility numbers higher at around 1.8 million. Many argue that it is unfair to deport these mostly adult children of illegals since they have grown up here in America. Others argue that they are here illegally, many break the law, some take jobs that legal citizens need, and they are generally a tax burden because of their dependence on welfare and other social programs. The liberal CATO Institute puts DACA incarcerations at 12% less than the average US population. From 2013-2017, about 2,200 DACA recipients were revoked because of alien smuggling, assault, domestic violence, sex offenses, drug offenses, weapons, robberies and gang activity.

President Trump is trying to get funding for his border security wall and Democrats have made DACA recipients leverage for gaining Democratic votes. Of course, the Democrats and the mainstream media seem to think these children of illegals, who are now mostly adults, are the sacred citizens of the new American democracy where everyone should have a vote-illegal or not. These Democrats, socialists, communists, leftists are attempting to hold the entire nation's border security ransom to a small group of people who are illegally in America. It's all an extension of the plan to remake America into something it never was intended to be. These radicals label as racist anyone who would oppose DACA.

The Bible is clear about how to handle immigrants. Exodus 22:21 says, "You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him." This is repeated in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. In context, Exodus 12:49 says, " One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the foreigner who sojourns among you." This is also repeated in Numbers and Leviticus. One law for all. In this context it is God's law, but these people neither want to submit to the laws of the nation or to God's laws, and most do not want to assimilate into the culture of our nation. If they are here illegally, they have broken the law as their first act. Hard as it is, lawmakers must address this, otherwise our country is in danger of becoming a lawless society.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Here’s What Trump ACTUALLY Thinks of Haitians

LevinTV host Mark Levin corrected the record Friday night on his radio show by playing audio of President Trump speaking fondly of Haitian-Americans.

Trump had been under intense scrutiny for reportedly alluding to Haiti as a “sh*thole” country in an Oval Office meeting with lawmakers Thursday. On Friday, Trump denied making any disparaging remarks.

Levin called the rampant criticism of the president “such an overreaction” and suggested that Democrats are the real racists. Listen to the clips he played of racially-charged statements by Democrats:

The economy continues to chug along, even as President Trump continues to get hammered in the media for his latest comments or behavior.

While the media has mostly ignored the economic boom of 2017-2018, former President Obama hasn’t. He’s inserted himself into the narrative in an effort to take credit for the un-stagnating of the economy. The only problem with this bit of self-adulation is that he’s completely wrong to credit himself.

In fact, it was President Obama and the Democrat policies of the last decade that left our economy so stagnant and seemingly at a loss to develop any momentum. While the former president believes that it was his policies that created our current economic fortunes, the truth is that the good times would have started MUCH SOONER if Obama’s policies would have been repealed and thrown away years ago.

But don’t take my word for it, listen to the cadre of economists that were recently polled by Wall Street Journal.

The Hill explains:

The Wall Street Journal asked 68 business, financial and academic economists who was responsible for the strengthening of the economy, and most “suggested Mr. Trump’s election deserves at least some credit” for the upturn.

A majority said the president had been “somewhat” or “strongly” positive for job creation, gross domestic product growth and the rising stock market.

The pros cite the White House’s push for lighter regulation and the recent tax bill as critical to a pro-growth environment; more than 90 percent of the group thought the tax bill would boost GDP expansion over the next two years.

The Daily Wire has some of the most important findings from the report:

  • Most of the economists said Trump was “‘somewhat’ or ‘strongly’ positive for job creation, gross domestic product growth, and the rising stock market.”
  • The experts said Trump’s decision to cut regulations and cut taxes were a major factor.
  • The group gave Obama “neutral-to-negative for GDP growth and negative for long-term growth,” while scoring Trump as “neutral to positive for long-term gains.”
  • The group of economists said Trump scores higher than Obama because business confidence is higher and business investments are increasing under Trump.

Once again the evidence clearly shows that optimistic, conservative fiscal policies promote growth and prosperity – while regressive liberal economic policies create hopelessness and despair. Leftists say work hard and give us your money because we know how to use it better than you do. Conservatives say work hard and enjoy the fruits of your labor, and in so doing you will help promote a healthy economy twice over. First, with your labor but then with your spending. Letting people keep more of their own money always promotes growth, prosperity, and a brighter future.

The Democrats, on the other hand, are getting worried.  The propaganda passed through their mouths as well as through the mouths of their partners in the mainstream media is that the benefit of the tax cut bill would be reserved for the wealthy and the corporations.  Before the bill was passed Nancy Pelosi compared it to the end of the world calling it Armageddon and the Senator who has no idea how to wear his glasses, Chuck Schumer called it a “kick in the gut to the middle class.”

Their predictions are turning out to be lies. According to Americans for Tax Reform who has been tracking this activity, as of January 16th, 218 companies employing well over 2 million Americans have already received pay raises, bonuses, expansions, contributions to 401(k)s –all arising from tax reform bill tax cuts.

Not only are new companies added to that ATR “bonus/raise” list daily, but beginning with February paychecks, approximately 90% of Americans will get an increase in take-home pay.

But the very wealthy Pelosi is showing her arrogance. She claimed the $1K and $2K bonuses given out by corporations were mere crumbs. To her, one to two thousand dollars may be crumbs, but to most Americans that’s real money.

The economy is taking off thanks to President Trump, and it’s getting stronger thanks to the tax bill promised by the President.  As the economy continues to heat up the Democrat’s claim that it was Obama who turned around the economy and the tax bill will increase middle-class taxes rather than making their wallets thicker will be seen as liberal lies by the American taxpayers. The important question is will it be realized in time for the 2018 midterms.

The video below is a mix of the liberal media claiming the corporate tax cuts will never be shared with their employees and announcements of bonuses, wage increases, etc, by those same cor

Point of No Return! California Faces Imminent Financial Collapse!

The state has gone off the cliff and Sacramento is still going full speed ahead!

“California is a cautionary tale for taxpayers in the rest of the country,” says Stephen Frank, “The people of California are being burdened by an unsustainable, unfunded liability – a $1 trillion dollar government pension system. At the end of the day under California law, the taxpayers will subsidize the shortfall in the budget.”

Point of No Return! California Faces Imminent Financial Collapse!

California is in economic collapse: while tax revenue increases, the policies to kill off the state are in place and beginning to take effect,” Frank says.

Not worried about economic collapse, they are focused solely on policies on climate change, health care, civil rights and immigration.

California has a powerful economy, with 14 million private-sector jobs. It also has burdens: welfare recipients (12.6 million), generously paid government employees (2.1 million) and people collecting government pensions (1.3 million).

There are 114 people drawing from the government for every 100 people chipping in by working outside the government and paying taxes.

As for pensions, there’s trouble in the private sector too.

The aggregate funded status for the largest 100 defined benefit pension programs among publicly traded companies dropped to 81 percent as of Dec. 31, 2014 from 89 percent a year earlier, according to a study from consulting firm Towers Watson.

City Journal recently laid out the economic nightmare awaiting California taxpayers. The magazine reported that over the course of decades, greedy labor unions and willing politicians in state government conspired to transform what began as an austere public pension system in the 1930s into a lavish, taxpayer-funded behemoth today, a system that is unaffordable now.

California has the highest state income tax rates in the entire nation.  For many Americans, the difference between what you would have to pay if you lived in California and what you would have to pay if you lived in Texas could literally buy a car every single year.

Get that? Move from California to Texas and get a free Car!

The state government in Sacramento seems to go a little bit more insane with each passing session. This last time around, they were talking about going to a single-payer healthcare system for the entire state that would have cost California taxpayers 40 billion dollars a year! They are still driving and they already ran off the cliff!

A lot of money is being made in Silicon Valley these days (at least for now), but poverty is also exploding in the state. In desperation, homeless people are banding together to create large tent cities all over the state, and the L.A. City Council recently asked Governor Jerry Brown “to declare homelessness a statewide emergency“. There are even people working at Facebook and Google that are living in cars and garages!

Not only that, California has some of the most ridiculous housing prices in the entire country. Due to a lack of affordable housing rents have soared to wild extremes in San Francisco, where one poor engineer was actually paying $1,400 a month to live in a closet.

To make matters worse, businesses are leaving the state in masses and families are following them.

Thanks to unchecked illegal immigration, crime is on the rise in many California cities. The drug war that has been raging for years in Mexico is increasingly spilling over the border, and many families have moved out of the state for this reason alone.

But taxes, income, jobs, and a plethora of other reasons have turned what at one time was a great migration to the Golden State into the great exit! Over the past decade, approximately five million people have moved away from California.

There is no improvement in sight either! All over the state, key infrastructure is literally falling to pieces. Governor Jerry Brown recently issued a list of key projects that needed to be done as soon as possible, and the total price tag for that list was 100 billion dollars.

After reading this article, perhaps you have a better understanding why so many people are getting out of California while they still can.

I did! My move to Texas four years ago was the best move I ever made! We took a 25% decrease in cost of living, a 15% increase in income, a $2 a gallon drop in gas, and bought a very nice 3,200 sq ft home for 1/3 of the lowest price you could have found it in California.

And yes, the tax savings paid for a new car!

So sad. Stop the madness liberals!
