Rajjpuut's Folly: 2/3 of Likely Voters "The Country is on the Wrong Track"

Obama’s cavalier attitude toward increasing taxes and government spending and government control; deficits, national debt and unfunded liabilities on the one hand . . . and toward violating both the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Constitution on the other hand . . . are in a nutshell, the single biggest uniter of the mainstream against him.

on the Wrong Track

When 67% of likely American voters say the country is heading in the wrong direction, you’d expect a lot of agreement on the question. Only two in every seven voters (28%) believe the country is heading the right way, but . . . . that humble statistic includes 53% of Democrats; 73% of the political** class; and 64% of Blacks who assert that the nation is indeed headed in the right direction.^^

Opposing that idea are 91% of Republicans; 73% of unaffiliated voters; 82% of mainstream** voters; and 70% of all non-black ethnicities who feel the country is headed along the wrong path. This data, taken from Rasmussen Reports recent polling . . . is a disappointment for Obama administration officials. “We don’t watch polls,” says Robert Gibbs, the White House Press Secretary . . . an obvious lie contradicted by hundreds of other things Mr. Gibbs has said in the last nineteen months.
The single key comparison is this: 82% of mainstream voters say the country is on the wrong path while 73% of the political class aver we’re heading in the right direction. That amounts to a difference of 165% in evaluating the present situation in America: that is a monumental gulf. Our politicians and those who approve of the work of our politicians are presumably further apart today then the colonists and Great Britain’s leaders were in 1775. In comparison the difference between the Republicans (-91%) and Democrats (+53%) is great but just 144%; and the perception difference between Blacks (+64%) and other ethnicities (-70%) is a mere 134%;
Leftist blogsites have gone berserk since the new poll data was published by Rasmussen. Their spin? Some accuse Rasmussen (the most accurate pollster over the last eight years) of running a biased survey. Others say White male voters are expressing “racism.” They deny that women or Hispanics or Blacks or the young (the four key elements of the “president’s base”) are supporting the president less.
The left seem to be in absolute denial that rational people could somehow disapprove of the president’s job performance. Promising 8% maximum unemployment if the Obama Stimulus package were passed is a huge reason voters believe the country is heading down the wrong path, where, they ask, are the jobs? Recently one of Obama’s chief economic advisors quit in arguments over extending the Bush tax cuts across the board. No serious economists are recommending any kind of tax increase (and, though Obama denies it, allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire even on one class of high-earners is, indeed, a tax increase) in the midst of a recession. One Obama strategist and pollster has openly questioned the president’s, the administration’s, the Democrats’ and the left’s tendency to denounce all dissenters from 100% approval of the president as “racists” saying that while this might have worked initially, it’s hurting the president across broad classes of voters.
The brunt of all these “racism” accusations, of course, is the so-called astro-turf (not a real grass-root movement according to Pelosi, Reid, Obama and Gibbs) TEA Party movement. Clearly, the TEA Party is the fastest growing and most active dynamic in America today. And what does the TEA Party movement object to in Barack Obama’s leadership that gets them repeatedly branded “racists?” Why does the TEA Party believe we’re going the wrong way?
1) Obama’s elitism (no business people or practical people are part of the inner circle at the White House) and surrounding himself with virtually nothing but academicians and lawyers.
2) Obama’s socialism (55% of Americans in a recent poll, said “socialist” was the right descriptor for the president) as indicated by takeovers of virtually 68% of the American economy and financial industries.
3) Obama’s radicalism as reflected in the make-up of his 38 czars and the white house staff consisting of so many radicals from the 60’s and 70’s and self-admitted communists.
4) Obama’s ineptitude in solving problems in jobs or the economy.
5) Obama’s refusal to listen to public opinion on matters like Obamacare and the borders.
6) Obama’s foolish stances on radical Islamic terrorism and seeming denial of the facts of a pretty simple matter seems to be endangering the country. "Man-caused disasters don't cut it, Mr. President."
7) Obama’s ignoring of our long-time allies and new coziness with our long-time enemies; and especially his “apology-tour.”
8) Obama’s cavalier attitude toward increasing taxes, government spending and government control; deficits, national debt and unfunded liabilities on the one hand . . . and toward violating both the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Constitution on the other hand . . . are in a nutshell, the single biggest uniter of the mainstream against him$$.
9) Obama’s redistributionist policies.
10) Obama’s fundamental transformation of America is NOT the change they hoped for when he was elected.
11) And, yes, it’s possible that up to 5% of the TEA Party actually are racists (though Rajjpuut has never seen even one such indication) who object to Obama’s color. However, while only 4% of Blacks voted for Mc Cain almost 48% of Whites voted for Obama (more than Kerry or Gore got) . . . so 97% of TEA Partiers really DO object to is being called “racists” by so many reverse-racists and the entire left-wing of the Democrats.

^^By the way, 82% of Blacks approve of the job Barack Obama’s doing while only 36% of White Americans do so . . . an incredible 46% perceptual divide by race (53% of Hispanics approve of Obama’s job performance).
** According to recent Rasmussen analysis 65% of the country now align with the mainstream and only 4% now align with the political class. If “leaners” are accounted for, 81% prefer a mainstream view and 12% see things much closer to the political class’ viewpoint.
Rasmussen has a measurable definition of the terms “mainstream” and “political class.” The numbers are arrived at by asking three questions, (the mainstream answer is underlined):
1. Generally speaking, when it comes to important national issues, whose judgment do you trust more - the American people or America’s political leaders?
2. Some people believe that the federal government has become a special interest group that looks out primarily for its own interests. Has the federal government become a special interest group? Yes!
3. Do government and big business often work together in ways that hurt consumers and investors? Yes!
To create the Rasmussen scale, each response earns a plus 1 for the mainstream answer, a minus 1 for the political class answer, and a 0 for not sure.
Those who score 2 or higher are considered a part of the Mainstream. Those who score -2 or lower are considered to be aligned with the Political Class. Those who score +1 or -1 are considered leaners in one direction or the other.
In practical terms, if someone is classified with the Mainstream, they agree with the mainstream view on at least two of the three questions and don’t agree with the Political Class on any.
After years of conducting these polls, Scott Rasmussen says, it’s his conclusion that Americans do NOT want to be governed from the left; do NOT want to be governed from the right; do NOT want to be governed from the midde; but rather “want to govern themselves.”
A Rajjpuut comment here: 83% of the political class are Democrats 15% are Independents or Unaffiliateds and just 2% are Republicans. In comparison, the makeup of the mainstream group is roughly 62% Republicans, 24% Independents and about 14% Democrats.
$$ In a liberal think-tank poll about ten days back, 55% of the voters said that "socialist" was an accurate descriptor for Barack Obama. It has taken 2.5 years for the populace to come to that opinion because the mainstream media (MSM) have protected and coddled Barack Obama and never properly vetted him, a courtesy that has never before been shown to any major American candidate. Rajjpuut knew early in 2008 that Barack Obama was a communist; that his mother Stanley Ann Dunham and grandfather Stanley Armour Dunham who raised him were communists; that his mentor, the poet Frank Marshall Davis was a communist; and that his Kenyan birthfather was such an abject and vocal communist, he could not hold a job in socialist Kenya. These are all facts the liberal MSM could have easily and should have uncovered for America's voters . . . . even Obama's first book "Dreams from My Father" was never vetted. The obvious question is "What were the dreams from Barak (no 'c') Hussein Obama, Sr.?" Here's the answer . . . .

to Gullible American Voters

As you may know, in keeping with his pledge to "fundamentally transform America," Barack Obama has failed to live up to his pledge to keep unemployment figures under 8%. Currently he’s glorying in a recent report that shows that 443,000 new jobs were created last month. Not mentioning that 411,000 of them were temporary government census worker positions. One thing also not mentioned is that despite the nation’s job woes, Obama has seen to the expansion of government employment undercutting the private sector and killing the creation of REAL (productive) jobs. While the private sector has lost over 4.3 million jobs on Obama’s watch the public sector has expanded by over 460,000 jobs.

Note in some studies, when it comes to permanent jobs, the Federal government pays up to $12 MORE per hour for the same job as a private sector employer will and offers “through-the-roof” benefits and the option of retirement at age 52 with accordingly through-the roof lifetime benefits and extreme high retirement pay closely akin to what the union workers in Greece were getting before that country’s collapse. Throw in his Obamacare health "reform" program and his attempts at job-killing cap and trade legislation and anyone with a brain ought to be able to see that on performance alone, he is radically restructuring this country and destroying our children's and grandchildren's future. Rajjpuut has watched this ten-minute video four times and while he's NOT deeply impressed with the spirit of the first 30 seconds of it, he's done a lot of research and concurs with roughly 99%** of the facts and about 92% of the spirit of this video. Every American voter ought to see the video check it out with their own research and make up their own minds. If you feel as strongly as Rajjpuut does about the implications of the first two paragraphs of this blog and the clear socialistic pattern shown in the video, he’d be honored if you’d pass it on to your e-mail list. ** The video is overly aggressive at the start and woefully inadequate in a few other places later. For example talking about weaknesses: Rajjpuut does not like at all the many “birther implications” in this video . . . yes there is a “technically” strong argument. However, in the true spirit of things, no matter how evil and screwed up his mother was (she was making these decisions for him during his childhood not him making them for her) he was born to an American woman and in “spirit” is an American citizen.

Some places that Rajjpuut sees the video dropping the ball are these: he would describe the religion of both Obama’s mother and birth-father as either “none” or atheism. Patriotism: a High-Demand Commitment
Part III: Understanding the Progressive Opposition We Face
Let us now talk about the "enemy." We are wise not to dare consider him the "loyal opposition" since he refuses to play by the rules of the Constitution, nor the rules of truth and normally understood fair play . . . and yet he holds us to those three high standards at all times (employing our "scripture" to do their hellish work) and has the mainstream media virtually 95% committed to advancing his lies. We must, under these circumstances, conduct ourselves in the most circumspect and non-violent manner, like the superior human beings knowing a superior and more ultimately compassionate truth that we are. Every day, that policy has won, the TEA Party, for example, greater and greater respect. But enough about us . . . . What do progressives believe? What do they feel they need to pass on to help us less-enlightened Americans to understand and embrace the beneficial changes they’re wisely bringing us? How do we conservatives refute all the specious progressive nonsense that’s continually thrust upon us and ballyhooed in the mainstream media? The progressive argument is found in normal print below. The Conservative rebuttal is written in italic print.
America through progressive eyes:
This is a very flawed land and jingoistic land where hypocrites abound. Our national vision is a gross lie seen through a distorted mirror called American History learned by rote triviality and blended into a “melting-pot” consciousness known as American “exceptionalism.” Justifying our founders as “God-led” patriots we dismiss with little thought their genocide of the native tribes inhabiting the lands when we first arrived; the enslavement of Black Africans whom we tore away from their native shores; the outright theft of 2/3 of what was once Mexico away from its people; and the use of concentration camps to control vast numbers of German- and Italian-Americans in World War I and Japanese-Americans in World War II. These sins are each of them so great they can never be expiated. Calling our most monumental lie “Manifest Destiny” a charade for some of the cruelest actions ever seen on earth, may not make us popular, but these truths can NOT go unsaid.
America, the Big-Picture truth:
America, like all nations, has had and still has its failings. Evil men and women have always existed even upon our own shores. Good men and good women also are prone to error. The mistakes of the past, however, are in the past and immutable. Choosing to use them as permanent stains upon the people of the present is utter nonsense and foolhardy propagandistic ranting, nothing more, nothing less. Clearly, the wide library of progressive lies about America, Americans and the “American Way” tell us way more about the kind of malcontented people that become progressives and raise their children that way than they do about America’s weaknesses. The utterly worst chapters of American History show a not very compassionate and often cruel or at least careless thoughtlessness toward other cultures. But cultural clashes are not unknown elsewhere and seldom have been moderated into absolutely benign cultural mergers anywhere. Looked at in that light, America comes out flawed but not evil. That is realism, plain and simple. Understand your mistakes, learn from them and avoid them in the future. Nihilistic progressivism would have all Americans forever guilty and apologizing for our very breath. Rajjpuut did NOT enslave anyone. Rajjpuut did NOT put anyone in a concentration camp. Rajjpuut has never killed anyone. Rajjpuut refuses to be held eternal prisoner to the sins of the past. Rajjpuut recommends all clear thinking Americans adopt a similar line of thinking, the past is uncontrollable . . . work now on improving those things we can control, period.
Be fair and accurate, Progressives! And notice, that the examples given in World War I and World War II were brought about by progressive presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delando Roosevelt. Be fair and accurate, Progressives! Why not compare us to what you are espousing: totalitarianism (all collectivism -- and progressivism is utterly collectivistic, regardless of how they attempt to sugar coat it -- is based upon the Utopian ideas of Engles and Marx and owe much of their strength to labor and environmental movements like the Luddites in Great Britain in opposition to the Industrial Revolution) . . . all this is another sort of Clashing of Cultures and the prime collectivist states Communist USSR, Communist China and Nazi Germany have seen to the murder of 94 million civilians in the name of their ideologies with the Nazis only responsible for 13 million civilian deaths. Compared to what progressivism espouses, America looks darn good. What’s going on upon these shores is pretty wonderful in its own way. There’s a reason that the French gave us the Statue of Liberty. There’s a reason that ours is the land that hundreds of millions of people have dreamed of and tens of millions of peoples have uprooted themselves to come here legally. There’s a reason that millions of people cross into our country illegally while Berlin Walls and Iron Curtains couldn’t stop people from escaping collectivistic states. America has been for roughly 200+ years, the land of opportunity. America has things in its past to be ashamed of, America need have NO SHAME for the present. America is in a certain sense perfect, in a greater sense: perfecting.
The Military through progressive eyes:
America is an imperialistic and violent nation (look at that “National Anthem”) interested in virtual-colonization of the Third World. Our military serves the evil purposes of enslavement and oppression of other cultures. There can be no “just” American war and no heroic American fighters because we come into battle with the malevolent thought that our might makes us right always. In league with big business, the military—industrial complex (M-IC) seeks to control the minds, bodies and votes of all Americans as well as much of the rest of the worlds’ peoples and resources. America hides behind its ruthless military strength to browbeat other cultures and nations and their leaders into compliance with America’s desires. We have no real friends in the rest of the world, only a few toady and sycophantic nations that align with us. The existence of the American military-industrial complex (M-IC) allows unenlightenend Americans to believe that they are the greatest, freest and most generous peoples the planet has ever known . . . enlightenment,however, tells us that Americans (until properly educated in progressivism) are narrow-minded slaves to the M-IC who are selfishly plundering the rest of the planet and endangering us all with environmental Armageddon.
The American Military, the Big-Picture Truth:
Here the progressives missed their best chance to embarrass and demean the American military and didn’t . . . so in the spirit of full and open truth-seekers, let us remind them of Custer’s two raids on defenseless Indian camps populated mostly with women and children before his own ultimate demise; plus the Sand Creek Massacre; plus Wounded Knee; plus the U.S. Army’s role in bringing about the horrific death march known as the “Trail of Tears.” Hell, let’s throw in Kent State while we’re at it and Hiroshima and Nagasaki – America’s the only nation ever to drop a nuclear bomb on another nation, after all.
Armies and Navies, etc. are designed to FORCIBLY bring one’s enemies into line while protecting one’s own nation and its interests. Abuse of military power is evil, clearly and undeniably evil. Clearly and undeniably, some unenlightened and abusive use of the nation’s military power has occurred and far too often. Not to mention the almost always inexcusable collateral damage and friendly fire incidents created by either incompetence, ignorance, or accident. The two A-bombs mentioned above, by the way, ended up saving presumably three to four million Japanese lives and ¾ of a million American lives not to mention the wounded on both sides and the virtual destruction of all of Japanese infrastructure and culture.
All the incidents mentioned in the penultimate paragraph are facts of history and cannot be undone, but only learned from. The progressives make a repeated and consistent logical error in always allowing themselves the right to learn from their more than abundant past mistakes, but branding America’s past errors as utterly damning, ubiquitous and eternal. The progressive would brand America and the American military for all our mistakes forever – the mote in our eye -- while forever refusing to acknowledge the far more monumental shortcomings of progressivism and the military abuses of collectivist states – the huge post** in their own eye -- such as the USSR and Red China annihilating the freedom-loving opposition in places like Hungary and Tibet, etc., etc. ad nauseum and stealing the freedoms of their own people by the full-pressed weight of their military might and their military-like police enforcement techniques and philosophy.
In fact, the American military has been largely a force for good in the late and 21st Centuries. It was the American military that brought the utterly cruel and despotic Japanese empire to its end. Ask the Chinese and the Koreans about that. It was the American military that played the primary role in wiping out Nazi Germany with American military supplies also bolstering the causes of Stalin and Churchill against Hitler's forces mightily. It was striving to keep up with the American military which brought about the bankruptcy and eventual PEACEFUL capitulation highlighted by the surprisingly quick fall of the Berlin Wall; collapse of the Warsaw Pact; and the dissolution of the USSR itself. When natural calamaties and crises fall upon innocent civilians, it is more often than not, the American military on the front lines delivering and providing aid and comfort to the stricken. On balance, the American military is more deserving of praise than censure and when you’re talking about virtually unlimited power being used with a respect and restraint that is truly a magnificent truth.

** For example, the progressives don't like to acknowledge that the lion's share of the present almost $14 TRillion national debt is of their making; that pay-go which they just passed is like "set-aside" which they always attached to their monumental public welfare schemes like social security, medicare and the federal side of medicaid and since passing pay-go earlier this year, they have refused to acknowledge and follow their own good law and find a way to pay for proposed new laws as pay-go requires. Most importantly, let us never talk about the fact that the three government interference set-aside boondoggles (also government spending boondoggles, thus GIBs and GSBs) named above are now obligated for $109 TRillion in required services . . . this is the progressive legacy which they totally ignore while piling scheme upon impossible scheme as if there will never be a day of fiscal-reckoning . . . in other words, progressivism is an enormous lie and a filthy ponzi scheme.

Rajjpuut's Folly: What Should the Republicans Do?

An awful lot of Republican incumbents as well as Democrats are feeling a bit nervous these days. Attribute that situation to the existence of the recently created TEA (taxed enough already) Party. From the git-go, Democrats have reacted with undisguised hostility and sought to besmirch and marginalize the TEA Partiers and dismiss their concerns with constitutionality and fiscal responsibility as the ravings of racist extremists. That policy is not only ignorant and loathsome, it also hasn’t worked and has only served to highlight just how out of touch the Obama administration and Democratic leadership as a whole has become.

Republicans are also “edgy” about the future created by this new activist force. Blogs are springing up all over conservative websites saying some version of this . . . “The tea party seems to be thinking they can pick our candidates for us, and they openly prefer candidates that are not incubents or not already “part of the establishment . . . of course, they’ll want us to fund the campaigns for these newcomers. This doesn’t make any sense to me . . . “ Republicans are treating this situation as a quagmire when they should be embracing it as raw opportunity. If Rajjpuut were named Head #1 Republican Honcho tomorrow here’s how he’d approach the “problem.” It’s been said, there is none so blind as he who will not see. It seems that Republicans canNOT see the future clearly because they don’t know their own history? Allow Rajjpuut to refresh some memories . . . .

Sixteen years after the Dixiecrats walked out (at the Democratic National Convention that nominated Harry Truman) during Hubert Humphrey’s speech in favor of civil rights legislation, they found a home in 1964 favoring Republican conservative Barry Goldwater. To be blunt, they were about the only truly enthusiastic voters for Barry. Four years later, Nixon courted them as the “Silent Majority” and the Republican Party stopped being the “Party of Lincoln” in the eyes of many minorities and that condition still exists today. Times have changed, but perceptions haven't. For example, Obama received more White votes and a higher percentage of White votes (almost 48%) than either Kerry or Gore, but McCain only received 4.3% of the Black votes . . . so the Democrats could fairly be excused of having the most racist party. In any case, politically there was an enormous plus for Nixon and many Republicans . . . the G.O.P. was now a much more conservative party and since in any given year, 65-70% of the voters describe themselves as “fiscal-conservatives” Republicans since Nixon’s days have had a natural advantage that has led them to winning seven of the last eleven presidential elections.

With those numbers in their favor, Republicans are a natural “slam-dunk.” Frankly, however, the G.O.P., from the standpoint of Conservative Democrats and Independents (a good percentage of the 65% fiscal-conservatives in America) especially, has gone so far out of the way to make itself UN-attractive that in local, state and national elections they have largely squandered their birthright and continually snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Four key perceptions in many voters’ eyes have cemented inside them the picture of numerous Republicans as Racists, Old-Fashioned, generally intolerant and an even “ugly” group because . . . .

• They believe that the party is “wagged” by its tail, that is, they believe that former Dixiecrats control the party to this day and they are still racists.

• They disagree with the party’s UNcompromising Stand on abortion even when the woman’s life is in danger, or in cases of rape and incest or for retarded mothers.

• They abhor demands for teaching Creationism in public school science classes and teaching Christian songs in public schools. This is why God created private schools . . . and the founding fathers created Separation of Church and State! This is the TEA Party’s only constitutional beef with Republicans but it is a big one. However, they believe that the Democrats are trying to destroy the Constitution.

• Their perception is that the Republican Party is a sectional (southern) party and not really involved in national issues . . . even for people who don’t regard the G.O.P. as “racists” this view is widely-held.

(Setting aside the detractions mentioned above perceived as “Republican” weaknesses,) here’s what observation and common sense tell us about the TEA Party movement. It is a fiscally-conservative movement. It is a constitutionally-conservative movement. The members of the TEA Party are somewhat older, somewhat wealthier, and somewhat better educated than the average Republican and much moreso than the average Democrat. In short, the TEA Partiers are naturally aligned with the Republican Party, but oooops -- there is that “Republican ugliness” to contend with. So they are definitely an anti-Obama group; anti-progressive group; anti-socialist group and much, much more likely to vote against a Democrat than for one. The problem Republicans are really worried about, however, is that many Republicans feel as threatened by the TEA Party as the Democrats do. They could split the conservative vote for many years to come and ensure a long continuation of Democrats in power nationally and on the state and local levels as well.

Let’s bring our history lesson up closer in time: three potentially great things have happened relatively recently:

1) the TEA Party came into existence and is threatening to hold ALL incumbent politicians’ feet to the fire . . . and isn’t that about time? Big spending irresponsible Republicans should face the same ignominious fate as big spending irresponsible Democrats. Our nation is in a constitutional and fiscal crisis and the voters must solve the problem.

2) The Republican Party finally wised up. They abandoned their old ugly-right “litmus testing.” Instead they took to heart Ronald Reagan’s words, “If a fellow votes with me eight times out of ten, I regard him as a friend.” They created the “Republican Purity Test”:

You’ll remember that the need for such a test arose when the Republican Party chose a candidate to run for a seat in Upper New York and funded her with over a million dollars. It was a conservative region and the locals had not wanted her and were hopping mad. Their ire increased when it came to light that this was a candidate possibly to the left of Barak Obama and that the Democrat running against her was far more conservative. A real conservative entered the race as an Independent Conservative against them both and almost won after the TEA Party money and fury; and national contributions forced the FAKE Republican to withdraw with only about 7% of the voters committed to her. Her parting shot was to ask her supporters to support the Democrat who won by roughly 2.5%. Unfortunately, the G.O.P. as a whole has not acknowledged the purity test and as far as I know has not enforced the purity test before the primaries. So it appears that this very good idea is just lying dormant.

3) The TEA Party released its “Contract From America” as part of their rambunctious “Tax Day” protests on April 15th:

Looking closely at the two documets with Reagan’s jelly beans over his eyes, Rajjpuut suggests that if the G.O.P. Purity Test rates an 8.2 on a scale of ten, then the TEA Party document deserves an 11.0!

So, in answer to the worries about the TEA Party. How exactly does the Republican Party respond to their presence and even exploit the common ground between the two political entities?

Rajjpuut (as #1 Head Honcho Republican would suggest the following ACTION PLAN for exploiting the common ground existing between the TEA Party and the Republican Party. What should the nominees and candidates do?

1. Ignore the TEA Party. Don’t kowtow to them; don’t treat them as special. Don’t go out of your way to welcome them as likely-Republican-voters or to exaggerate the commonalities. In other words, don’t be political at all. Treat all voters and all campaign contributors the same (with respect but without debasing yourself).

2. Look over their “Contract From America” and see if 8, 9 or 10 of these items can be adopted/adapted for the G.O.P.

3. Look over the “Republican Purity Test” and seriously consider leaving items #9 and #10 out of the picture. 9 is redundant and 10, while important, is about 30th on any sensible list of crucial items for dealing with the crisis year 2010.

4. Using the phraseology of the “Republican Purity Test” modify and combine the two lists and with big drumming and fanfare announce the “Finalized Republican Purity Test” of about fifteen items. Then see which Republican primary candidates meet the purity test and which do not and let the party faithful know who had 15/15; who had 14/15/; who scored 13/15; who had 12/15 and who did NOT pass the test.

5. Ignore the TEA Party and set about fielding a slate of true statesmen and true stateswomen who meet the new Republican standards at least 12/15 and emphasize the key fifteen points at every step of the campaign.

6. Impress the TEA Party and all voters by seeking NOT to impress anyone, but steadfastly and seriously approaching the challenge ahead without pause until voted into office (Then take a break for about three weeks to refresh body, mind and spirit. Read the Constitution and start planning for your swearing in and beyond).

7. Defeat every possible Obama sycophant across the board and start repealing all his garbage. Consider impeaching the communist SOB for not upholding his oath of office and constantly attacking the U.S. Constitution.

ps: the strategy outlined here was what Bill Clinton did in response to the Republican sweep (in 1994 aligned with their "Contract With America") that derailed all his leftist initiatives. Republicans might not be able to pass a bill or might even pass a bill which Clinton would veto. Then he'd take basically the same bill and move it five or ten degrees to the left with a few deft changes and this time have his Democrats initiate it or bi-partisan sponsors. Wonder of wonders the bills would all pass with large majorities. If the Republican Party co-opts the wisdom of the TEA Party and makes it part of the Republican "planking" for 2010 . . . similar results will occur.

As Thursday's Tax Day demonstrations drew over two million enthusiastic protestors out for the occasion, totally ignored by the mainstream media was the unveiling of the TEA (taxed enough already) Party’s “Contract FROM America.” The Contract from America consists of the “Top-Ten” most popular planks from among the group’s twenty-one original planks. Of the top-ten planks in the Contract, the number-one issue is clearly protecting the Constitution . . . not just because a plank by that name received the most internet votes and a closely related plank was voted into fifth position, but also because each and every one of the other eight planks honors the concept of limited federal government, returning power to the people and the states vis a vis the federal government and controlling size, spending and interference of the federal government. Here are the Contract From America's Top Ten Planks:

Protect the Constitution of the United States

Reject Cap and Trade legislation

Demand a balanced budget

Enact fundamental tax reform

Restore fiscal responsibility and constitutionally limited

government in Washington, D.C.

End Runaway government spending

Defund, repeal and replace government-run health care

Pass an “all-of-the-above” energy policy

Stop porkbarrel spending and earmarks in legislation

Prevent further tax hikes

These are the ten yardsticks for measuring candidates this coming November which the TEA Party will employ. Rajjpuut finds nine of the ten items he supported on the list as well as his item #13 and is deeply impressed with the wisdom shown by those who voted on the twenty-one item list. For those of us who believe that informed and caring citizens are the nation’s only chance of stepping back from the precipice of doom, this is a most heart-warming result. For the imbecilic mass media who called these gentle and concerned people “racists, haters and violent extremists,” Rajjpuut reminds you of Glen Beck’s nightly close using this Gandhi quote. “Let truth be your anvil and non-violence your hammer. Whatever does NOT ring true when struck on the anvil of truth by the hammer of non-violence must be rejected . . .” so let it be when the media’s lies and hate and extreme left-leanings are brought upon us . . . they are all rejected in the process. Just as the TEA Party says to the legislators “You work for us, we don’t work for you,” Rajjpuut says to the liberal media, “you either cover the truth or you only pretend to cover the news.” This fine document (these top-ten planks making up their 2010 Contract from America) is truly exactly what this country needs now. Let the media cover this great grassroots revolt truly and honestly or let them all die from lack of solvency as people refuse to pay to read or hear their lies.

Rajjpuut's Folly: Tea Party Unveils 'Contract From America' Planks

Initial frustration with big spending Republicans drove Ryan Hecker and other fiscal conservatives to the creation of the TEA Party but it is the Democrats today who are the ones most worried by the grassroots disgust with business as usual in Washington, D.C. This week the TEA Party comes of age . . . as they flex their political muscle with a second survey called the "Contract FROM America . . . seeking to create a TEA Party platform consisting of ten planks . . . .

To date over 400,000 surveys have been completed and thus far the top three planks of the TEA Party movement appear to be:

#1 Protect the Constitution by requiring each bill to identify the specific provisions of the Constitution giving Congress the power to do what the bill would do. 82% of all survey responses included this plank.

#2 Reject “Cap and Trade Tax” Legislation and stop costly new regulations that would increase unemployment, raise consumer prices and weaken the nation’s global competitiveness with no measurable impact upon global temperatures. 70.8% of all surveys included this plank. Obama has not been able to push this bill through the senate and is now seeking to make an end run around the legislative process by having the EPA issue a directive in line with the provisions in the senate.
#3 Demand a balanced budget by getting a Constitutional amendment process to require a balanced budget with a two-thirds majority required for any tax hikes. 69.6% of respondents approved of that plank.

The Contract From America is the brainchild of 29-year-old Houston attorney Ryan Hecker. Hecker invented the concept even before the tea party movement began in February 2009. Hecker says the ultimate objective is to “influence the outcome of the midterm elections” the way the Contract With America did in 1994, or even more.

"My dream, my hope," Hecker said, "is that economic conservative candidates and those who want to be economic conservatives in the future will sign on, and that we get a bunch of blue-dog Democrats and tons of elected officials onboard, and that they recognize that any document they craft themselves won't be as powerful as one coming from the people.”

Using the results of more than 5,000 surveys from members of the grass-roots movement, the Conservative Political Action Committee winnowed the ideas down to 21 proposals. Then they posted the list online in the as an extended survey, and directed voters to the ContractFromAmerica Web site to select the top 10 ideas.

The ten proposals that the grass-roots voters deem the most important will be included in the full ContractFromAmerica proposal, to be unveiled on April 15 during the massive Tax Day Tea Party rally being conducted in the nation's capital. Reflecting the widespread, de-centralized power of the tea party movement, the Contract From America also will be simultaneously revealed in Houston, Austin, Atlanta, and 80 other locations in the country. Hecker’s idea was based upon the Republican Party’s Contract with America in which the G.O.P. successfully passed nine of the ten contract items into law and forced Bill Clinton to abandon his liberal agenda and govern from the center.

"The Contract From America was a great document," Hecker says, "but ths time it's not top down, it's bottom up . . . It comes from the people, and it's how representative government should work."

"It started with my recent frustration with the Republican Party's lack of legitimacy on economic-conservative issues," he explains. "They no longer represented for me a proxy for my beliefs on the economic front. So this idea came from that. I thought, 'How do we move this country back into an economic conservative direction if that's not where it seems either party is headed. And then it just fit perfectly within the TEA party movement." To which Rajjpuut says, AMEN!

While Mr. Obama moves toward an amnesty bill making all illegal aliens instantly Democrats, er citizens, Mexican Drug Gangs had the audacity to attack two army bases just south of the border. Overall eighteen of the drug cartel’s attackers were killed outright and two more were wounded in the two fracases. How exactly, with what provisions, does Mr. Obama hope to limit the future entrants to our country to just including upstanding citizens? By the way, the Mexican Drug Cartel’s are reportedly threatening parents along the border with their childrens’ death if they in anyway get in the path of their activities . . . “kill your children and torch your homes” unless the threatened people pay five thousand pesos to the Cartel. Reportedly, some families are “making a run northward” now for their childrens’ safety. Makes you respect our nations’ drug addicts financing these cartels all the more, eh? The firepower along the border controlled by the Cartels has caused the Texas governor to call out the national guard for border patrol work.

Item: While Barak Obama clamors for Cap and Trade legislation which would cripple our already crippled economy, for the first time in several decades it appears that the Artic sea ice cover and the Antarctic sea ice cover are returning toward normal levels (the so-called 1980 baseline), but Al Gore and the global warming alarmists and the mainstream media that promote their party line aren’t correcting their rhetoric on climate change. Some scientists are saying that the 2007 low in Artic ice cover was probably NOT the result of extra warmth but rather may have been the result of recently discovered cyclical ocean currents pushing the ice that was there further south than normal where it melted of course. At present, the cyclical currents have shifted to more normal activities levels and directions.

Item: Although the liberal media have made a big deal out of Obama’s decision to drill offshore along the Atlantic coastline and Obama says he’s “increasing oil production,” the truth is anything but what’s being written. Obama’s decision was to “allow exploration” not to drill. The facts are that Obama has actually prohibited far more areas to exploration then he’s opened up; and he’s postponed the scheduled date of new leases. Expect gas prices at the pump to soar and do not expect any new drilling to occur. By the way, the Democrats and the Obama administration aren't talking about the vast Baaken Oil Fields covering about 22% of the heartland. A lot of jobs and a lot of oil and energy independence are waiting there. Right now just a small portion of that oil is available thanks to capitalist Indian tribes in North Dakota who cannot be told what to do by the federal government on their lands. We have deposits in the lower 48 right now that would dwarf what's available in Saudi Arabia and probably create six million new jobs . . . but Barak Obama wants you to remain ignorant of those facts.

Item: Today’s report that over 162,000 new jobs were created in the last month will be an outright fraud. Why? Among other things the 48,000 temporary Census jobs included in that figure are a once every ten year’s aberration and mean nothing to any economic recovery in the long run and over half the 162,000 jobs created are just that: temporary jobs created by the stimulus NOT real permanent jobs. If you include jobs created by the government in the mix, less than 45% of the new jobs are permanent real jobs in the real world.

Item: Despite all sorts of money thrown awkwardly at the economic problems by the Obama Administration (which doesn’t seem to understand that the only way governments can create real non-government jobs is by getting out of the economy’s way by reducing taxes, government obstruction to the free markets and other blockages that destroy the economy’s ability to naturally create jobs) the overall economy seems to be worsening. Bank failings continue at a record rate.

Item: Chrysler seems primed to ask for another bailout.

Item: The ACORN-driven sub-prime lending bust is still alive and the three mortgage-guarantee laws that ACORN abused to create it are still on the books. The Housing bust continues both for new homes and already existing homes. Overall for businesses and individuals loan payment delinquencies continue to pile up; bankruptcies and home foreclosures are running at record rates.

Item: We still have 9.7% unemployment and the overall unemployment rate increased slightly because more young people came onto the job market. It will take an average of 20,000 new jobs every month just to take care of these new workers but this would do nothing to replace or recreate the 8.4 million jobs which have disappeared since the government started stimulating the economy in October 2008.

Item: ACORN is now changing its name in all 50 states so they'll be eligible for government funding again. Remember, Barak Obama has close ties to ACORN and worked a few years as their lawyer forcing banks and lending institutions to make knowingly bad loans in line with three terrible laws created by the Democratic Party mostly but definitely NOT fought against resolutely enough by the Republicans. ACORN ran a Cloward-Piven scheme to overload the system and bring the country to crisis and move the country toward socialism. Until the Constitution is again respected and these laws are repealed and these type of abuses are prevented in the future, don’t expect much recovery, very soon.

ITEM: Item it would take over four consecutive years (about 50 consecutive months) of creating 162,000 jobs a month to regain the 8.4 million lost jobs and in the meantime, five million young people would also have entered the job market and be lacking jobs . . . the “Jobs President” better start earning his pay and his name.

Item: The real American average wage and the real American minimum wage both continue to fall thanks SLIGHTLY to inflation and employers’ reluctance to hire and take on new benefit-receiving employees in the present economic environment. And what is the real reason behind this drop? Illegal immigrants taking on jobs that many Americans won’t consider. Many employers can offer part-time no-benefit jobs because they don’t have an overriding need for full-time benefit-receiving normal American employees. Second prize in this sweepstakes goes to Unions continually out of touch drive to secure ever greater Cadillac benefit structures for their employees which employers have decided they will not pony up for.

Item: This one you WILL see in the liberal media. The N.Y. Times apparently got it right for once and Rajjpuut congratulates them. The Pope via a representative is attacking the Times’ coverage of the child-abuse scandal by Catholic priests saying it is one sided and exaggerated. Thirty years worth of problems is not exaggeration, it is a holocaust of trust. The Pope who once was a Hitler Youth can NOT reasonably hope to pull a Nazi shut-down on the media. This problem of abuse and more importantly of cover-up of abuse by the church and its officials goes back at least two popes and the present Pope appears himself to be implicated in the cover-up from years ago. Children are vulnerable little people and their health and safety and happiness can never be politicized . . . if the Pope wants this problem to go away, he needs to open all the church’s appropriate records on abuse and cover-up to the world’s media and to pledge to track the problem down all the way to a satisfactory conclusion. A church, above any other institution needs to be a place where people are safe, especially children.

Item: Obama’s efforts to change “Undocumented Future Democrats” into citizens is just the latest travesty. For years now, the social security administration and individual states have routinely been issuing identification to illegal immigrants. Even without this type documentation, ACORN was able to secure thousands of mortgage-guarantees for illegal aliens in the southwest. Rewarding all this duplicity by awarding citizenship is a slap in the puss to native born and naturalized citizens. If you thought Obamacare was divisive, watch what’ll happen to the country as a result of the Obama-Citizenship-Giveaway.

Item: Recently Jim Moran (D-Va) refused to answer a reporter’s questions about the “clerical error” that cost $6.4 Billion in lost stimulus funds supposedly aimed to help out in Virginia’s 12th District. One slight problem, there is no
12th district in Virginia. Moran spent about five minutes asking for respect rather than responding to the questions. Somehow the Obama stimulus folks created an untraceable slush fund for somebody, NICE!

Item: Liberal bloggers are labeling the “Faith, Hope and Charity” T-shirts being sold by Glen Beck as “hate merchandise to raise hate funds for bigot war chests.” Proceeds go to charity reportedly and Rajjpuut was unable to prove otherwise. Talking about Beck and the TEA Party and the T-shirts mentioned under the title “Nightmare in White,” one blogger starts ranting with the words, “there are an awful lot of angry white people in this country” as he went on to once again accuse all “Tea baggers” (which he knows is a sexual slur used by Democrats; the proper term is “TEA Party people”) of racism and hate crimes he implied that no TEA Party folks are NOT white; No TEA Party folks are NOT racists and all TEA Party folks are the scum of the earth and also are members in the KKK and other such organization. Certainly, Rajjpuut has seen with his own eyes that of those accusations exactly NONE are true. The aim of Democrats to marginalize the TEA Party people seems like a very short-sighted and even despicable course of action.

Item: The H1Ni vaccine was only 53% successfully issued. Right now virtually all the unused vaccine is in danger of reaching its expiration date and being thrown away. Hmmm after all the hype from the Obama administration and the shortages in vaccine amounts . . . one would have expected an out-of-control H1N1 flu epidemic in the country
. . . but until today’s news, Rajjpuut for one, hadn’t thought about H1N1 in thirteen or fourteen months.

Item: both Vice President Joe Biden’s and the New York Times’ literal admissions that Obamacare was really not about health care reform at all, but rather a wealth-redistribution scheme . . . have not been repeated . . . realizing their mistake the Veep and the newspaper in question have refrained from further responses to reporters seeking more information. Ooops, didn’t mean to tell the truth . . . .

Item: The mainstream media has ignored the fact that Obamacare not only took over 16% of the economy when it became law and began controlling the health industry. It also took over the student loan industry at the same time.

Today the TEA Party has listened to Americans and come up with a list of 21 items that Americans have decided are important to them. That contract "with" America by the Republicans was a good idea but their "Contract FROM America is a better one . . . The TEA Party wants to find out which are the TOP TEN CONCERNS of patriotic citizens and then to use those top ten concerns to create a platform for politicians to sign for 2010. Item: Drug Enforcement Act (DEA) officials are now visiting southern Afghanistan in America’s belated realization that opium is at the heart of the Taliban and Al Qaeda efforts in that country with the profits from opium funding their insurgency. The strange thing is that many compatible farm products are more profitable than poppies (almost all the profit from illegal drugs come after harvest and refinement) but it’s believed the Taliban likes the poppy for traditional reasons and because it plays a big role in advancing “American decadence” according to their ideology. Rajjpuut feels a strong bond to the drug addicts who help fund the killing of our soldiers.

Item: President Obama has effectively politicized the EPA (consider the edict to stop irrigation of central California farms and raise unemployment to protect the Delta Smelt <tiny fish>) and will now seek to ram through an EPA directive to ram through cap and trade legislation that Democrats have not been able to pass through the senate. This is yet another “end run” around lawful legislation processes with Obama’s arrogant administration attempting to regulate what they cannot legislate. It’s all just one more huge attempt to erode the Constitution’s authority. Just as Obamacare is, in effect, a tax on living . . . Cap and Trade type laws or edicts are nothing more than a tax on companies that actually build or create something . . . . it appears that Barak Obama intends to turn off all the lights in America . . .

Is Freedom Fading?

Will The Government’s Flawed-Logic Replace Freedom? Washington is so anxious to pass the national health-care scheme they are forgetting the most precious point, the freedom of the people. An odd combination of flawed-logic and self-centered reasoning has tainted the thinking of those we placed in office, thereby creating a cataclysmic distortion of the very ideals held dear for over 330 years. As you might guess, the term, flawed-logic is an oxymoron, how can logic be flawed? Something like this: If a flaw in a logical progression of thought, is discovered, then the reasoning process is obviously tainted, and therefore is not logical, except in Washington. The ‘flawed-logic thinking’ phenomenon only occurs in the deep caverns of Washington, behind closed doors, whispered in committee meetings as a unfathomable secret truth the ‘unenlightened Citizens’ cannot grasp. Believe it or not, the tune of the flawed-logic think-tank is being whispered throughout the Halls of Congress as members of both Houses bellow their mission as if it made sense. All the while, the light of freedom continually grows dim. Capitol Hill’s flawed-logic is spun in this manner: Health-care is good, the government will provide health-care, and therefore the government is good. Consider this fact, in a single breathe the Washington blatherskites jabber their nonsense claiming their flawed-logic is a scientific fact and only the simple-minded lacking in mental acuteness would challenge the deep wisdom of the Washington gifted brainiacs! The leap from logic to lunacy makes prefect sense to the confused progressive mind-set, they snicker: “as if common man could understand the extreme logic of the Washington anointed.” The Washington lunatics proudly proclaim: This is why you need us, to lead our constituents through the deep waters of understanding! It is at this point the light of freedom begins to shine unsteadily. It turns out, the first piece of the Washington flawed and confused logic nightmare unfolds with a possible truth. Yes, good health-care is good, who can argue this point, and of course, the antithesis of this is poor health-care, and who wants that? No one, therefore, the foothold of agreement takes anchor. We all must agree that enjoying good heath-care is good. In addition, the second component departs from logic by making the assumption Washington can do anything well, especially the type and style of health-care the Washington Progressive think-tanks are cooking up. In truth, Washington holds an abysmal record of doing anything well. From exterminating the American Indians to a failed Social Security systems to being unable to balance the national budget by the very ones who can print as much money as they want! The argument of the Government fails on every point as they have a near to zero success record. At this point, the argument mutates as the progressive thinkers try to force feed the idea that their plan will be good for the nation! What poppycock! The lamebrain government Franken-Plan is irreparably flawed for it damages freedom. Simply put, the Health-care scheme will mandate Citizens to join, or, fines, jail-time and/or confiscation of assets will be levied against them! The light of freedom that is being extinguished cries for your help. Furthermore, the assumption is made that all Citizens even want some type of health-care. This begs the question, what about Citizen’s who does not choose organized health-care. Many homeopathic and naturopathic organizations’s success rates have been conveniently excluded from the Washington equation simply because tens of millions of people choose not to participate in ANY health insurance coverage. Do you blame them? Do you think the Government will make those people feel better because Big Brother can now be their proctologist? KEEP READING I am telling you the final flaw in Washington’s logic is their belief that they are good, so they will provide good health-care; therefore they are good at providing health-care. This is their flawed-logic. Here is the big question: Since when does a politician become good simply by denying the will of the people? In short, what made them so good at creating a health-care scheme, which is inferior to so many other truly proven existing plans? Furthermore, the Government has never been in the health-care business before, therefore they are the new kid on the block, the start-up! Are you willing to bet your life on the notion the government will get it right in your lifetime? If the National Health-care scheme is not stopped, you will be betting your life on it, and so the health of our beloved nation for generations to come. Therefore, they cannot justify their logic by claiming they are doing the greater good for the greatest number, because the greatest number doesn’t want it! Another flaw! Here’s the kicker, the Washington egomaniacs believe they are on a holy mission. By fulfilling their calling to be sympathetic statesmen, all the while their actions strip the American people of their freedoms, forcing them into a plan which is not only more expensive but also provides less benefits stemming from a source that has one of the worse performance records in human history. How disingenuous for the politically confused to presume they know what is best for the people all the while being blind servants, doing their masters bidding at the expense of the very people they were elected to serve. Here’s the scary part, the Washington scallywags are boasting how they are doing the ‘good thing’ by providing benefits to the great unwashed masses, all the while, dislocating their arms as they pat each other on the back at the same time while they wallow in their government mandated health-care cesspool of flawed-logic. There is only one-way to fight these inflated egos and that is to deflate their hype! The American people must stop the passing of Bill 3539, the National Health-Care Bill. A.k.a., the National Health-Scare Bill. Listen up my friend; the people do not want the Washington Franken-Bill. We The People must stop the illogical madness by taking massive action. The light of freedom needs oxygen; you are that breath of fresh air rekindling the flame of freedom. A word of caution; we no longer can wait until November of 2010, by then the National Health-care scheme will be signed, sealed and delivered. Amnesty will be installed and 20 to 30 million new confused pro-progressive voters will emerge unto the voting ranks insuring a win for the confused progressive side of the aisle. Furthermore, through a pending U.N. directive, America will lose it’s right to bear arms. If that is not bad enough, the silencing of conservative talk radio will become law, not to mention the government funding of the genocide of the unborn, i.e. government funded abortion, and a host of other diabolical legislative actions that are clandestinely waiting in the wings. Remember, these actions will become law unless We The People rise up and say, No You Can’t. Yes, the time for action is here. The Washington madness of their flawed-logic and self-dealing is destroying the very fabric of America. Make no mistake; good health cannot come from the hand of a sick government, nor should it be mandated at the expense of hard working taxpaying American Citizens. Thus, it is not ‘good people’ who trample freedom. ‘Good people’ do not take away the rights of their constituents, they look for ways to preserve and protect them. Therefore, can you call those we placed in office ‘good people’? You tell me. You see, there is only one action necessary and that is to sound the alarm and awaken the dazed, politically diseased from their liberal coma. There must be a substantial increase of action, millions of phone calls, letters, e-mails and faxes sent to Washington followed up by marches and demonstrations. Anything less and the mesmerized glossy eyed narcissistic, self-aggrandizers will continue in their never-ending glutton-fest at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. This is a truth, in less than 1 year, if the Nationalization of key industries is not stopped, America will become uninhabitable by such types as freedom loving Patriots, Wealthy Industrialists, and those who long for the late great America. Unless We The People act quickly, tomorrow may be the day after America disappears forever.
