You are not going to believe this one. The Democrat Party is not only salivating but also having orgasmic delight over what was just said by Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden told John Catsimatidis on WABC’s Cats Roundtable that he “may have to” run for president in 2028—if he gets the endorsement. Last month on Bill Maher, the same man said that if anyone heard he was running, they should check whether he had relapsed.
This is not a formal announcement. He praised Andy Beshear, JB Pritzker, and Gavin Newsom, then stopped just short of declaring. The party is still hunting for a post-Biden identity that feels both familiar and new. Hunter arrived with the last name already attached.
Asked what would qualify him, he did not reach for a résumé. He reached for the Constitution. The next president, he said, should commit to one thing: adhering to the rule of law, and he knows from his many run-ins with law enforcement. Democrats have spent years insisting lived experience matters more than conventional credentials. The universe, apparently, was listening.
His public record completes the application packet, and the party could not be more ecstatic.
Democrats point to Hunter Biden's badges of honor!
- A federal jury in Delaware convicted him on three felony counts for lying about his drug addiction on a federal form and illegally possessing a firearm.
- He pleaded guilty in Los Angeles to nine federal tax charges for failing to pay at least $1.4 million.
- President Joe Biden then issued a full and unconditional pardon covering federal offenses from January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024, ending the prison sentencing before it began.
- Congressional investigations and years of reporting focused on his high-paying seat on the board of Ukraine’s Burisma and various questionable ventures in China.
But what about the laptop?
- Hunter's laptop itself, left at a Delaware repair shop, produced personal data, business emails, and an unforgettable portrait of crack, alcohol, and other hobbies.
- Prosecutors noted an $11,500 escort payment, $1,500 for an exotic dancer, and a $10,000 sex-club membership—then noted he wrote those personal expenses off as business deductions.
- Dirty 2017 divorce, his ex-wife accused him of spending family money on drugs, alcohol, and prostitutes, and he largely agreed.
Remember, any bid would reopen the 2018-gun purchase, the tax charges, and the laptop saga. For a party that has already decided those episodes were overblown, that is a feature, not a bug.
The candidate who once joked that a campaign announcement would look like a relapse now says he may have to run. For a coalition that prizes personal testimony, family dynasty, and flexible interpretations of accountability, that is not a contradiction. It is the product.
The trial balloon itself shows how neatly the pieces already lock together. Democrats did not have to invent a candidate who embodies scandal, sex problems, IRS trouble, and a gun case. He volunteered.

Just in time for Trump's new Ball Room at the White House. Drugs and Ho's...MAGA.
I hope the dems are stupid enough to encourage this, on the other hand I'd worry seeing the crazy left supporting criminals.
Ilona, you made a good point. I think the key here is that 'crazy left' insanity rules supreme in the Democrat Party.
They were all bitten by the stupid bug!
There must be "something" in the water they drink?? Or whatever else they might be drinking!!
