Political experts said it would happen, and after Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, the streets of New York City were filled with protesters. Thousands of people showed up to say they didn't like how the election turned out and to reject the democratic choice of the people and Trump's plans.
Insurrectionist protesters with signs and chants like "Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go" took to the streets, reminding us of the protests after the 2016 election. People are protesting not only against Trump as a person but also against his policies and his bigger plans for the country. Despite Trump reportedly securing 301 electoral votes, surpassing the required 270 votes for president, and also securing the popular vote, this ongoing protest persists!

There were insurrectionist protesters with signs that said, "This world doesn't belong to the 1%" and "Protect our freedoms, families, and futures." Other protesters stressed the need for immigration policies to protect illegal aliens. They carried signs that said, "Protect the program that keeps families together" and "We Hispanics are the engine and the workforce of the economy of this beautiful and blessed country."
Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, said again that deporting undocumented immigrants is a key part of the president-elect's plan and that he plans to start "the largest mass deportation operation of undocumented immigrants on day one" of his term.
These protests mark the beginning of what could be a challenging and divisive time for the Democrat Party. Many people strongly disagree with Trump's platform, indicating instability within the Democratic membership. However, for Trump's supporters, known as MAGAs, these actions represent the realization of policies and promises they believe are essential for maintaining national security and economic stability.

We have not yet resisted to blood and let us pray it may be avoided... there are yet legal means that have not been taken... Article 5 of the US Constitution and its amendment process were meant for times such as this. Amending the US Constitution to reign in the out-of-control deep state government...is one peaceful solution, not tried as yet.
It is time for Pres. Trump to establish a temporary bureau under the Office of the President. This temporary bureau would pursue political corruption. All classes of Federal Felonies involving members or contractors of the Federal Government... It would also have jurisdiction to pursue sedition and insurrection wherever found. The voices of revolution and unlawful incitement to undermine our elected government must stop... before it ends in civil war.
Pres. Trump needs to take a long look at how Pres Lincoln dealt with insurrection and sediiton... He may find it necessary to repeat many of Lincoln's actions and methods used to save the Constitution... its republic and our Union. Lincoln used his lawful authority as the Chief Law Enforcement officer to reign in the enemies of the Constituiton and its Republic.. Union.

This kind of behavior, from grown adults, simply stuns me; guess it shouldn't, since I have a 61 year-old daughter who had a screaming meltdown, the week after the elextio and can barely bring herself to even talk to me (3 months after the fact)!!
