Maybe when nuclear fusion becomes practical we can reduce oil, coal and gas. For now, solar panels and windmills will never replace fossil fuels. Eledctric vehicles need to be charged, and that requires fossil fuels. Amazing how many people can't seem to understand that.
I am absolutely amazed how so called educated and smart people can buy into this nonsense. It is painfully obvious that electric cars are a total stupidity and are unreliable, can only travel so long without a charge, and it still takes coal to make electricity. I parked next to a Tesla the other day and from a distance it didn't look any better than a cheap Toyota. Certainly wouldn't spend that kind of money if there was a chance that it would burn my garage down.
