I recently chimed in on a post about Karmelo Anthony. The post stated he was given an unfair trial and deserves justice. There was no justice in him st*bbing another person. I stated he deserves consequences for taking a life.
I was told I was too white to have an opinion and when I expressed that I am raising a Black child I was attacked online and via private message about my White audacity in calling my son Black.
Do you know the only people who don't call my son Black is the Black community. I have heard it for years, but not nearly as severely as now when i chose to weigh in.
So, to be clear not a single White person sees my son as white, not even bi racial. The Black community is the only community telling me my son is White because he is being "raised White"
My response to that was: raised White? What does that even mean? My Black son is being raised to know the system isn't against him, he is not oppressed. My son is being raised to know people see skin color before they see character so he better be of excellent character and conduct himself respectfully at all times in this house and away from it.
My son is being raised to know their are consequences for every action and to think before he speaks and before he acts. He is being raised to know that because of the media and stigmas he has to be more calm during a traffic stop and obey orders from police officers but that thug behavior gets you unalived and disrespectful actions and violence will end your life, so conduct yourself like a gentleman who knows how to act.
My son knows to fight battles in court rooms and not in the streets. My son is being raised to know that can be anything he wants to be in this life and is only limited by his choices. so... ok.. if that is being raised White, then we will go with that.
Thank you Black community for deciding a my son isn't Black enough to belong to you. Please do not pretend like he isn't seen as Black, he is proud of that. You take biracial children and tell them they do not belong in your community, but the White community rejects them, too.
You think people study my son and then make a decision? No, that is split second for him. Shame on you to treat being Black like an exclusive club that someone has to be dark enough to join then cry foul about being judged based on skin tone. Excuse me, what??
The hypocrisy!!!! This White mom has been spit on by Black women, told I should be dragged from my home and unalived and my children given to a Black woman to raise and called the worst things imaginable simply for raising this child.
Now, though he isn't Black enough for you and I am too White for you and now I am raising him "too White."
You know where that is coming from? The Black community is sending me these messages and pouring over pictures of my children to prove they aren't part of their community.
Do better!"

No. I am a Black man who happens to be a police officer. My law enforcement JOB, doesn’t minimize my opinion. It actually strengthens it as I have get to see things from all perspectives while you are limited to what you are told to think as a Black person. You are conditioned to only see things through a racial lens first. The same lens I was indoctrinated to see things through until I saw the other side. Choosing logic over emotion doesn’t make me less Black or make me forget what it is to be Black.
While you are led by your feelings, I am enhanced with the knowledge, understanding and practical application of the law.
Regardless of my complexion, 2 + 2 will always be 4. The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. It will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter and….
If you stab someone for just pushing you, you will be charged.
Some things are just what they are and have zero to do with race but personal actions and choices.
At the end of the day, if you don’t want to end up caught up in a system you feel is corrupted, think before your actions so you don’t get caught up.
If someone cared enough about Karmelo to tell him this, he’d be free right now.”

Listen lady.. the grift is over… The fundraiser is gone, the donation page has been unpublished, and the trial is over. But that doesn’t mean the questions have disappeared.
More than $600,000 was reportedly raised during one of the most publicized criminal cases in America. Now that the verdict has been reached and the sentence has been handed down, people are asking a simple question: where did the money go?
Maybe it went to legal fees. Maybe it went to security. Maybe it went to living expenses, consultants, or preparations for an appeal. I don’t know. Most of us don’t know.
That’s precisely the point.
When hundreds of thousands of dollars are collected from the public, transparency isn’t an attack. It’s accountability. Donors have a right to know how their contributions were used and whether the funds were spent in the manner they expected.
The fundraiser may be closed, but the public’s interest in understanding what happened to more than $600,000 is not. Asking for answers isn’t hatred. It’s common sense.
I’ve been very quiet about the Karmelo Anthony trial until now. The celebrities and mainstream tried to paint this young man as a victim and dragged the victim’s family all over the media defaming them. Karmelo took a life. He committed murder. Black culture is hugely influential, which is why it has been used to drop the most perverse ideas into American culture. Look up Diddy's mom...we've been made pawns for perversion. We sell rage and entitlement to the kids then wonder why they're so angry and entitled pic.twitter.com/OVSkZaAwFe

A life was taken, and a life was ended. Carmelo Anthony's actions carry a heavy consequence: 35 years. While he will one day rejoin society, the victim's life is gone forever. This isn't about race, it's about irreversible actions and their profound impact.#Justice #Consequences pic.twitter.com/LXqR3ZEjYm

The social media trial of sensationalized rumors and public opinion vs the actual facts.
Here are the lies from the social media court:
- He never had a knife. It was a cleat sharpener.
- He got jumped by multiple people.
- It was about race.
- The jury was completely white.
- He’s going to do 35 years. Here are the facts from the actual case and trial:
- It was a knife (pictured below)
- He was never jumped based on reports from journalists who actually watched the video in court.
- No one testified that racial slurs were thrown around before, during and after the conflict. I was actually surprised that the defense attorney didn’t play the race card. Anthony was simply from the rival school. It was turned into a racial issue based o. The skin color of the two boys involved.
- Though the jury was mostly White, there were Hispanics and Middle Eastern and Indian jurors
- He will be eligible for parole in 17 years.
Ask any Black person like me who has walked away from their village, family, community, or hometown to build a life on their own.

We left because we could no longer survive the mentality around us - the one that constantly drags us backward, kills ambition, and punishes anyone trying to rise.
Staying meant choosing failure by association.
So we chose ourselves.
It's like a death cult.
Again, nothing to do with SKIN COLOR. Everything to do with ATTITUDE.

For the black folks who think cops and the justice system are against them, I offer this:
- I grew up in South Jamaica, Queens.
- I was surrounded by guns, gangs, and drugs.
- Even still, I’ve never killed anyone (I mean, there have been people where I wouldn’t have been sad if a bus hit them, or something, but I’ve never committed the act against anyone.
- I’ve never been in handcuffs (well, not actual handcuffs… there were a few times in college NEVERMIND, NEVERMIND, NEVERMIND).
- Outside of work, never seen the inside of a jail cell.
- I’ve had a bad interaction with a cop, but it stemmed from a female black cop being *very* aggressive to the point where even the other cops on scene were looking at her weird. I think she secretly wanted me.So it is entirely possible for black folks to simply exist without problems or issues. Try it, it’s actually easy.
Hugs (except for that one cop… my tricep still has that lump where she hit me with her baton),
