Canada is a failed nation with a failed healthcare system. The world's best healthcare system is still in the USA: the world's lowest costs and best outcomes like long and healthy lives for its people.
Nothing is free Paul......someone is paying for it. The Canadian people settled for inferior as long as the thinks it doesn't cost them anything personally out of pocket.
