Per Grok:

Ukraine’s own Human Rights Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, has described a systemic crisis in mobilization. He reported more than 6,000 complaints about TCC operations in the first ~10 months of 2026 alone—exceeding the total for all of 2025. Issues repeatedly cited include unlawful detentions (“busification”), beatings, corruption, mobilization of people with legal deferments, and related rights violations.

There are concrete prosecutions:Multiple TCC personnel have been convicted or charged with torture, kidnapping, unlawful deprivation of liberty, and related offenses (examples from Odesa, Bukovina/Chernivtsi region, and elsewhere).
Cases have involved beatings, use of force to coerce consent to mobilization, and in some instances deaths linked to injuries sustained during or after detention.

These problems are widely acknowledged inside Ukraine, including by parliamentarians, the ombudsman, and media. They stem in large part from acute manpower shortages after years of full-scale war, leading to aggressive and often poorly controlled recruitment practices. Ukrainian authorities have opened cases and secured some convictions, but the volume of complaints indicates the issues remain widespread and damaging to public trust.

In short: Yes, there are verified cases of Ukrainian personnel using violence—sometimes rising to the legal threshold of torture—against their own citizens in the context of forced mobilization, and Ukrainian officials themselves call the pattern systemic. The most recent high-profile allegation is still being investigated, with confirmed injuries but disputed claims of deliberate, widespread torture at that site. The situation reflects real failures of discipline and oversight under wartime strain rather than a formal state policy of torturing the population.

  • i believe the stories of biological weapons labs are true

  • Ukraine is really no different than Russia.  Ukraine is just as corrupt, if not more under Zelenskyy and it has an Eastern mindset which does not value human life.  The principle US national interest here is that Ukraine occupies strategic terrain between Russia and NATO.  President Trump needs to negotiate a return to the agreements made at the end of the Cold War whereby Ukraine is considered a neutral country without a military and its security is guaranteed by a Joint Effort between the US and Russia.  Had our European NATO allies not listened to the stupidity of the Ukrainian government and fired up Putin over Ukraine membership in NATO and had the US Demoncrats not been so vocal, none of this would have happened.  It takes adults to run countries and international affairs which eliminates Demoncrats from any form of power!

    • Exactly. Russia's stance was always about NATO on its borders. Perfect setup by NATO.

    • Agreed

    • You covered a lot in a few short lines. Yes, ukrain and Russia are equally corrupt, but we have to spell out it's not their people, but their leadership.

Yes, the stupid push for Ukraine to be part of NATO was crazy, we all knew Putin will never allow it, and Puting is going to do whatever it takes, but that's not the only reason he went into Ukraine. He wants the entire country, as I keep saying Putin wants to be the modern day Gengiskhan, to be remembered as the one who expended Russia into Europe!
Zelenskyy is a jerk, and an idiot, he was not cut out for this job and Ukraine still has the people left from the times of communism, they are no different that the Russians, they'll kill, tourture for the pleasure of it.
........and yes, the democrats are childish, they push issues that are not their business not knowing the consequences!
