Hollywood comedian Leslie Jones says she hopes young people rioting across the U.S. can parlay their anger into something that will “burn down this f—ing Constitution.”
The “Ghostbusters” reboot star told her 1 million Twitter followers over the weekend that history is repeating itself regarding riots in response to George Floyd’s death under the knee of former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin.
Ms. Jones recounted her days causing destruction during the 1992 Los Angeles riots before saying, “Seriously, 30 years from now, the same riot that I was in with my sledgehammer is the same riot that y’all in.”

Never heard of leslie Jones till now, but yeah Cuba would be good her. No way could she be a tv "comedian". She'd be relegated to cutting sugar cane with a machete in the fields for pennies per hr. If she was lucky, that is. At least she would be productive then.
Well, let's all just band together and END this uncomical jackwagon's career; shut her up and throw her out the door!
Someone needs to inform Ms. Jones that inciting sedition and revolution is a terrorist act... maybe she would rather visit the Island of Cuba than perform in California... I am not certain but treason has no statute of limitations... maybe she better hide those sledgehammers... as there was a time people were held accountable under the law for violent attacks on our democracy.
If up to me she would be in Cuba where there is no link to our constituion which by the way gives her rights the people in Cuba do not have.
This entire fiasco is about to be turned on its head... Floyd did not die of asphyxiation, he died from a drug overdose of Fentanyl and meth... which caused heart failure... complicated by the stress induced by police restraint.
This reminds me of the Ferguson, Mo. and Michael Brown miscarriage of justice.. that thug had just finished robbing a local convenience store and thought he was about to be arrested... resulting in a physical altercation, where he attempted to obtain the officer's firearm, ending with his being shot. Or, the Travon Martin case where he nearly beat George Zimmerman to death, before being shot by George... another near miscarriage of justice.
Floyd was high on drugs, fentanyl, and meth, two deadly drugs when fate caught up to him... His death was caused by his existing heart disease, the use of the drugs, and the stress induced by the arresting officer... a host of deadly incidents all coming together at one time... Why? Not because of the police officer was cruising around looking for someone to abuse... no, it was because Floyd chose to use the drugs, broke the law, and resisted arrest... Floyd was not on the ground because he went quietly with the arresting officer.
