    What did this guy expect he walks in unannounced no one knew who he was and he charges the front of the room running his mouth the FBI and SECRET SERVICE had no idea what his intentions were, Now we see the Democrat Loons all over the news crfying about his treatment, WHAT THE HELL DID HE EXPECT OR THEY EXPECT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, HATS OFF TO THE SECURITY DETAIL THAT WAS THERE THEY DID THEIR JOB,

    Padilla looked and acted like the punk that he is and Federal Law Enforcement did exactly what they are trained to do!  Given that he was appointed to the Senate and not elected by the Citizens of California removes his rights to say anything about democracy since he was NOT democratically elected!  On an associated topic... every single elected Republican in Federal, State and Local Government as well as ALL Federal Officers, including, Military Officers who swore an oath to the US Constitution, and every single conservative member of the press MUST STOP referring to the United States as a "Democracy!"  The USSR and all of the other commmunist and socialist countries in the world are democracies and they are all ruled by single party dictatorships.  The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic and if we are to regain our rights under the US Constitution, we must educate the nation of this FACT!!!  Anyone who has taken an oath to uphold and defend the US Constitution who refers to the United States as a democracy is violating their oath of office and guilty of TREASON!!!

      I agree about Padilla, and if it were any of us.....we wouldn't get away with doing as he did, neither should he! I also agree it's time for a lesson and start calling America what she is....a constitutional republic. They also should stop calling the democrat party the democratic party......they are much but not very democratic! 
      As far as communist nations being democracies or calling themselves that, they all called themselves a republic. The Hungarian Socialist Republic, the Czech Republic, USSR the United Soviet Socialist Republic .....so on.

      I agree with all you wrote.  Democracy: Two wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner. Not about representation at all. Surely they could remember that little mneumonic.

      That's why a nation that loses its own language is in real trouble. Words mean what they mean and right is still right and wrong is still wrong, but they, many, most have lost the entire concept of WRONG. They are blind.
