Pilot program across 14 civilian agencies to audit unused/unneeded “P-cards” (~700K accounts with ~$30B of spend in FY24).
After 8 days, ~24,000 cards have been de-activated, which will likely double by end of week.

Beautiful! All these government employees need to be on very-very short leashes, they cannot be trusted, they have to be watched like children.......and frankly, baby sitting is not in the job discription of employers! Fire them if they cannot get through a day of work without tutoring.
I said government issued credit cards was a bad idea when they were introduced back in the 1990s. I refused to accept a government credit card when I was in the military. President Trump needs to bring this all to an end, and, in the process, as COL Nelson points out, every purchase must be validated and if found to be illegitimate, the card holder must be prosecuted.

Where fraud is found suspend the individual without pay until an investigation can determine if the purchases are ligitimate. Suspending the card is not enough. Fuel purchases and unauthorized use of government vehicles, equipment, and aircraft for personal use must also be stopped and those caught doing so terminated.
