Je crois qu'on ne mesure pas ce qu'Elon Musk est en train de construire avec X.

I think we’re not grasping what Elon Musk is building with X.
Throughout history, every media has been tied to a culture, a language, a geographic bubble. *Le Monde* speaks to the French. The *NYT* speaks to Americans. NHK speaks to the Japanese. Each media filters reality through the prism of its local culture.
X is becoming humanity’s first media. Not of a country. Of the species.
I’m witnessing it in real time. My French posts get RT’d by Japanese people, replied to by Brazilians, quoted by Americans. Conversations that wouldn’t have existed five years ago. A French libertarian debating with a Tokyo engineer and a São Paulo entrepreneur under the same tweet. Not translated by an editor. Translated instantly by AI, with one click.
Cultural filter bubbles are bursting.
And I think we’re massively underestimating the compounding effects of this.
When an idea can cross an ocean in three seconds, when a sourced argument posted in Paris can be fact-checked by an economist in Singapore and amplified by a developer in Austin in the same hour, the cost of spreading a good idea trends toward zero.
And that’s catastrophic for one very specific type of player: media outlets that built their business model on the monopoly of local information. The ones that could say anything about “what’s happening elsewhere” because no one could verify it.
When a French journalist writes that “the American model doesn’t work,” now there are 50 Americans in the replies with sources. When an editorialist says that “Denmark proves socialism works,” there’s a Dane explaining that Denmark ranks 10th in global economic freedom.
Fact-checking is no longer a department. It’s a network effect.
Honest media have nothing to fear from this. Media that sold a narrative protected by their audience’s geographic ignorance are facing an existential crisis.
Because you can’t lie at a local scale anymore when the whole world is watching.

This new world connectivity will surely make the NWO less likely. Once again Elon Musk is providing a selfless service to Americans for the benefit of the US of A.
10/4 OBTW - it also gives the Trump Admin access to French communications.
What are expecting him to find?
