Who needs these people? Who needs the CDC or the FDA in the first place? There are too many three-letter agencies in the US as far as I am concerned.

If they have not been back on the job since that shooting, just TERMINATE now and DENY ANY unemployment benefits - - BECAUSE they "abandoned" their positions WITHOUT NOTICE. None of them resigned; it's called "no call - no show". They are DISPENSIBLE.

Absolutely... fire them, and when the lawsuits come, move to have them dismissed as frivolous. Then move to have the Lawyers sanctioned for bringing the cases..
They abandoned their jobs without legal cause... fire them and close the local CDC offices... lock them out.
Use this opportunity to reorganize the CDC and open it in a remote RED STATE location where the working population is appreciative of their jobs.
