DC is the capital of the United States and belong to the people not to a political party or a government or someone who hates those of different religions or views
That's what all the communists tell you, everything belongs to the people, but they shut you out, restrict you.....and put you in prison if you enter!
Unless Congress is willing to replace the entire DC Government and reinstate DIRECT RULE over the District ...nothing will happen with this request.
Let McCarthy step up and remove the DC Government ... establish a new government that remains under the DIRECT supervision of the House... form a committee and make the Mayor, Chief of Police, and all the key members of the District's government report to the committee regularly.
Return sanity and law and order to DC's local government... Congress has the COnstitutional DUTY to administer the District, not Bowser and the rag-tag, drug-infested street thugs currently controlling the streets of our nation's capitol.
