The Federal Reserve is not federal. It is outside of U.S. government, so he may be right on the money. AI told me that the Board of Governors is an agency of govco.INC., and the FED banks are not directly govco,INC agencies. Would AI lie? Can something be both private and public?
AI has built-in restrictions.
One of them is that it can't comment on sensitive or secret government information. Another is profane or obscene material, one other is bomb making instructions, etc. Therefore, I would not be surprised if there were also limitations on information about private and NGO corporations. Can something be both private and public? Yes. If the Govt has a provision that allows a private corporation to transact business for the benefit of the people but not owned by the people or govt.
OBTW - other organiztions 'like' the Fed are: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Federal Home Loan Banks, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)
Thank you for clarifying, Steve. So only the Board is accountable in any way to govco? Is that correct? Not the FED and not the banks, but it is acountable in part, within govco. Right?
