Watchdog: The IRS has spent tens of millions of dollars in recent days on guns, ammo, and 'military-style equipment' and their shopping list is still growing.
According to ‘Open the Books’, the IRS has made the following purchases in recent days:
- $2.3 million in duty munitions
- $1.2 million for ballistic shields, and another $1.3 million for "various other gear for criminal investigation agents." – a highly opaque description
- $474,000 on Smith & Wesson firearms
- $467,000 on duty tactical lighting
- $463,000 for Baretta 1301 tactical shotguns
- $354,000 on tactical gear bags
- 267,000 on ballistic helmets
- $243,000 on body armor vests
The government reportedly ordered "3,000 units of optics-compatible tactical holsters for weapons with optical sights and weapons lighting systems."
According to ‘Open the Books’, the agency has spent a total of $35.2 million on firearms, ammo, and gear and this amount is only what can be verified!
A recent report stated: IRS is continuing to post job listings for Criminal Investigation Special Agents stated applicants must "carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force" in order to carry out their tasks, the IRS is in a hiring spree for armed audit agents to fill openings in all 50 states.
What could go wrong? How about these ingredients: the crumbling dollar, massive debt, run-away inflation, invasion on all borders, ramet big city crime waves, J6 Political Prisoner Gulags, President Trump arrested and indicted, Supreme Court Justice’s homes threatened, outlawing gas kitchen stoves, air conditioners, gas furnaces and soon all gas cars and now brut force tax collection at gun point makes one wonder!

If I got this right, the government used our tax dollars to buy weapons to use against the people who paid for the weapons so the govenment can raise taxes to buy more weapons!

This sort of armament should cause Congress to act by halting all purchases of such arms and munitions until Congress approves such expenditure of funds. The US Constitution gives CONGRESS not the Administrative Branch the power to arm and staff such para-military units... units that for everything but name are military forces.
