Pres. Trump needs to define physical abuse and contempt for our Nation's Flag as a Criminal Act under Title 4 of the United States Code...It was once a criminal act to dishonor our flag. If we are to be Great again... our Nation's emblems of soverignty must be treated with the proper respect.
The United States Flag Code establishes rules for the display and care of the national flag of the United States of America. It is part of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of the United States Code (4C. § 5 et seq).
Presently, the Flag Code is a U.S. federal law] that is not mandatory:.. It uses non-binding language like "should" and "custom" throughout and does not prescribe any penalties for failure to follow the guidelines. Pres. Trump can change all that... with an 'Executive Order' defining abuse of our Nation's Flag as a criminal act... with penalties for violating the act.
Abuse of our Nation's Flag is a display of contempt for our Constitutional Republic and should be treated as insurrection or domestic terrorism... a direct attack on our soverignty. I, for one, am fed up with a judiciary that allows open insurrection and the rank display of contempt for our Constitutional Republic.
Dragging our Nation's Flag through the streets of America... or burning it in open contempt for our Republic IS NOT FREE SPEECH... Historically, such conduct was considered an act of rebellion... and war. Let us honor our Nation's Flag on this Flag Day by returning it as the emblem of our Nation's GREATNESS.

As the 2nd Father of our Nation, based on the bullet that missed it's goal, just like Washington——imho, Trump needs to treat this nation as an unruly child that needs REparentlng. He indeed needs to define, explain what's what, for all the fools, deceived, evil, confused, wanna-be marxists playing soldier. Yes, he needs to do exactly this. Patriotism, respect, need to be taught. And there are more than a couple ways to do that.
And Congress should be writing law on this so it's permanent.
It is a serious indictment when Congress and the courts fail to honor and respect our Nation's Flag.
It is a sign, a marker documenting the worst time of our nation's history.
