Republicans are experts in the circular firing squad and are notorious for disunity and infighting. However, all of this could change if MAGA Mike (Michael Johnson) can bring all those stray Republican cats together.
House Republicans swiftly picked a bright Louisiana congressman as Speaker in a shocking show of unity. As expected, conservatives and liberals called this rising hero "MAGA Mike." Critics and fans lauded Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) as a conservative Trump-influenced leader. His followers will be thrilled if Speaker Johnson forcefully supports conservatism.
"If you fail to recognize the significance of the transition from Kevin McCarthy to the esteemed MAGA Mike Johnson, then you are clearly oblivious to the undeniable rise of this powerful movement and the true locus of power within the Republican Party," Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said in a compelling live interview about his early October ouster of McCarthy.
Trump's October 25 social media post branded Mr. Johnson "MAGA MIKE JOHNSON!"
Representative Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) remarked, "This debacle surrounding the Republicans' search for a speaker candidate has been nothing short of a disgrace," demonstrating the GOP's incompetence and leadership problem.
In a sanctimonious Senate address, "progressive" Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) brazenly earned a nickname. Speaker Johnson may disappoint like his predecessors if he lives up to MAGA Mike, Congressman Gaetz's nickname.
These views rightly represent Mr. Johnson's election as a conservative Republican conference victory, but some say the next speaker must be more practical to succeed.

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, analyzes each Congressman's voting record to evaluate their conservatism. The average House Republican score is 89%. The victory of Mr. Johnson was eagerly hailed by swing district Republicans who respect a strong conservative leader. Molinaro (R-N.Y.)

Despite being unfairly called "swamp," Republicans applaud the new speaker. Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) hailed him a "principled conservative who possesses the necessary skills to accomplish the task at hand."
"Mike is an exceptional leader who commands unwavering support from our entire Conference," stated Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.). His personality and speech are outstanding.
Speaker Johnson outlined his conservatism and constancy government views in his acceptance speech. He warned compromise should never destroy conservatism. "Our hardworking citizens are growing increasingly disillusioned with the failures of government. ... I believe it is crucial for us to remain vigilant in this matter," stated. We will passionately defend our essential beliefs, which often contradict modern views. We must sacrifice our preferences to govern in a legislative body.
Final Word: If MAGA Mike is not eaten alive by his own party and somehow survives the torturous punishment of the Dems he might have as slim chance of survival. However, he is a Christian and a conservative and deserves our prayers.

That's exactly right. "Johnson's politics are conservative. Small government, individual liberty, and free-market capitalism are his priorities." No more communist ideologies like expanding unions, calling for striokes, class warfare, etc etc. Johnson is a blessing to anyone who does business in the US.
