This was not a riot against ICE yesterday in NYC.

It was a rebellion.
There is only one way this ends.
Lots of people go to jail, with a pit stop at the ER.
Pushing and shoving does not stop a thing.

Open fire and they will scatter!
That would work.
Exactly, Jeanine! Bullies do not stop until knocked down. Some still do not. You need to knock them to the ground and knock them out. When bulliues-in-numbers are present, they need to be met with blunt force and punished vehemently. Others will then think twice. Repeat until submission is complete. God has said on numerous occasions that martial law is coming. That is probably what is required. God is never wrong. But, our Constitution does not provide for martial law, so, how does that happen? Does someone know? Steve? Colonels? Someone?
It's part of the Executive branch. Commander in Chief as well as POTUS. Multiple hats. We need LMMLaw, in my opinion, for dufuses to realize this is not a game any longer and their gigs are up.
I agree wholeheartedly, Jeanine, but some extremely knowledgeable folks say we have no Martial Law given in our Constitution. Maybe it is semantics. Maybe not. If God says it will happen, then it will happen. But I would love to know exactly where it is written.
John, here's this.
Martial Law in Times of Civil Disorder

Throughout American history, the federal and state governments have declared martial law over 60 times. The Constitution of the United States does not define martial law and is silent as to who can impose it. However, the modern interpretation allows the president and state officials to declare "degrees of martial law in specific circumstances."

As the Constitution Annotated notes, there are two competing theories regarding the source of the power to declare martial law:
Martial law does not come from any direct authority. Instead, it "arises from the nature of things, being the law of paramount necessity . . .". In other words, it comes from the government’s right, power, and/or duty to "maintain public order" and keep the peace.
During wartime, "supreme political authority" allows for the valid and constitutional use of martial law. (Luther v. Borden (1849)).
Colonel Nelson has brought it up again and again as exactly what Trump should do. He knows. So would Colonel Faulkner. He knows, too.
Evidence of a special kind of stupid.
