I, like so many other Americans, have had enough of both parties. The Democrats are the worst, with their morality destroying agendas. 50 years ago, they would have been recalled and jailed if they went even half as far as they are doing now. I am beginning to doubt Americans have the will to do anything to stop that deplorable situation.
The Republicans are not much better. They are holding on to ideologies that need to be loosened, i.e. like the abortion issue. I personally feel abortion is murder but the entire narrative/situation needs to be settled by women alone.
We need to get back to our Constitutional Roots, and return all the original checks and balances into the constitution. The American citizens yes 'CITIZENS' need to take back the nation. However they have been betrayed, lied to, and frightened into believing if they used article-V, everything would fall apart. That is pure nonsense. The precedents set by Congress in it's exclusive use of Article-V, will serve as legal precedent for the States using it. For that matter you can see where Congress has gone off the rails and is not representing American Citizens, like their fiduciary responsibility requires them to do.
Lets take a look at what they have done that is in the interest of specific groups and impacts the average citizen.
I'll start with the 17th Amendment, it established the direct election of Senators, and superseded Article 1 section 3 Clauses 1-2. Superseded but did not remove that section. It also altered the filling of vacancies by allowing governors, instead of the entire legislature, to appoint temporary replacements, until a special election could be held. That Amendment did not change even one word of the written Constitution but it did completely change the Founders original intention. Senators were specifically meant to represent their States, and were constrained by their State Legislatures in what they could or could not propose. They were NEVER intended to represent the people. Now, they do neither. Now they only represent their political parties agendas. That only benefits Congressional politicians and, as we can see, those agendas do not represent the actual will of the people. They represent big business and big banking.
That brings me to the 16th Amendment. It superseded Article 1, section 8, clause 1, and Article1, section 9, Clause 4-5. Again it superseded, not changed the wording. Congress and the banking interests created it for their benefit, not the citizens or the nations benefit. It is basically the culmination of efforts beginning in 1887 of the Socialist Labor Party, then the Populist Party in 1892, and the Democratic Party in 1908 under William Jennings Bryan. It allowed Congress to establish an income tax to be levied on everyone's wages, adding income to the treasury and strictly to support the National government, not the citizens. Today we would call those parties Hard Left Liberal Socialist Parties. There was even unproven and unprovable speculation that Knox just declared the Amendment passed.
Congress passed the 1873 coinage act and it created the Gold Standard by default. It benefited big business and big banking too. John Jay Knox was a banker and financier which means he expected profits for his time and money. He was the primary author of the coinage act of 1873. He is responsible for the temporary ending of the silver dollar. The minting resumed in 1878 with the enactment of the Bland-Allison act. Silver dollars for circulation was ended in 1935 Two years after FDR made private ownership of gold illegal, so ;paper money could be printed for his agendas and later WWII. The coinage act of 1965 removed silver from quarters and dimes and reduced the silver content from 90% to 40% for Kennedy half dollar until 1970. From 1971 no circulating coins have been minted with silver content.
Now see what the political parties have further done contrary to the original intent of the creators of the 14th Amendment. They with the help of a biased Supreme Court created the concept of "Anchor Babies" among other items and contradictory to what the creators of that Amendment meant.
In their own words;
Senator Jacob Howard clearly spelled out the intent of the 14th Amendment by stating;
"Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. This has long been a great desideratum in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country."
Co-Creator Senator Edward Cowan stated;
[A foreigner in the United States] has a right to the protection of the laws; but he is not a citizen in the ordinary acceptance of the word
The phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was intended to exclude American-born persons from automatic citizenship whose allegiance to the United States was not complete. With illegal aliens who are unlawfully in the United States, their native country has a claim of allegiance on the child. Thus, the completeness of their allegiance to the United States is impaired, which therefore precludes automatic citizenship. Over a century ago, the Supreme Court appropriately confirmed this restricted interpretation of citizenship in the so-called "Slaughter-House cases" [83 US 36 (1873) and 112 US 94
[ Quotes taken from;
Anchor babies and the influx of their relatives do not benefit American citizens, they only benefit the party that encouraged them and gives them money and benefits they did not work or pay for and are a massive drain on the limited funds for American Citizens needing those benefits.
The situation has gotten so far out of hand that we can't vote our way out of it. We can't legislate our way out of it because a biased Supreme Court will knock down any law as unconstitutional. The Democrats have already stated they will increase the number of justices until they have an unstoppable Liberal Court at their disposal. We are already half way there with the bias of the circuit courts now harassing and hampering Trump at every turn.
We all should know what we have to do to straighten this mess out, but will we do, it?
