Rep. John James has it together and he represents what Americans can be if they will embrace Godly (YHWH) values, Conservative Principles, and American Heritage! Al Sharpton (I don't call him a Reverend) is nothing more than a Race Baiting, Demon Possessed, Hypocrite who has sold out his own people for personal wealth!
The black community sold out the black community mostly by supporting the left who were never interested in the success of blacks. Many blacks got fat by openly, loudly supporting the left, Sharpton is just one of them, and not any made the lives of blacks better in America, all they ever gave were empty promises as we all watched the black communities sink lower.
Their great hero, their savior the POS Obama they supported only because of the color of his skin, they chanted to him, he talked a good game, they all bought into it, and with their support they helped him fail them, fail this country, nearly bringing America to her knees. He was he hate monger, the one who began the spread of deep hate, the separation between black and white, and through this Obama single handedly failed the blacks of America more than the entire democrat party through their entire existence.
It's time the black community looks at this country with open eyes, realizes how lucky they are to live here and not in the shithole their ancestors came from, where too their own people captured them and sold them into slavery. They need to draw strength from those before them who suffered, but through their hardships they secured a place for them in this country, the only place on earth where blacks have equal rights, and equal opportunity through hard work and commitment. Those who were slaves would be ashamed of todays blacks who rot in the ghetto, their gangs, their unwillingness to prosper, their constant complains about not getting enough, their demands for reparations, their constant gripe about the whites.
We can only hope and pray that someday soon the blacks become American first and start acting like the ones who's eyes and minds are already open and are making a difference for themselves and those of their people who are ready and willing to shake their self inflicted victimhood.
Part of the problem is that white teachers did not want to be sent to teach in Black neighborhoods. So, they send Black faculty who have benefitted by lower standards (preferences) in entrance to M.A. programs in Education. Racism is still racism, whichever end is up.
Hate to say it but I saw it. Every year I judged high school teams competing for awards in each faculty's area of expertise, so I judged Design students. The work from the West side of Dayton, mostly Black—overall was sad compared to the wealthy burbs who had college applications on their mind, school rankings on faculty's minds and overall, had the standards in behaviour, presentation, grammar and speaking abilities and all else—down pat.
The team'/s from the West side of Dayton, were inferior. Writing, presentation and graphics were all less than the competing burbs, which were mostly white.
Character, I remember the West side teams were just as lovely people, sweet and excited to compete—but skills are skills. It wasn't a horrible difference but it was a sad difference. It was clear the standards were less in every area, from grammar, to design standards and to design presentation standards and readability.
So, I am saying this: That getting white people to go teach in the Black schools, where the crime is high, the parking not as available, is still part of the problem.
Thus, without higher standards for that (my opinion) crap Master of Education, which is part marxist theory), these kids cannot rise to be whom they are meant to be as they are being taught by non-Professionals. The culture is against them. Still. the parents don't have the skills nor do the teachers. Posture. Grammar. Excellence. Comprehension of design as a profession. I don't have the solution, I am just addressing what I saw.
My Master's was Self-Designed, Individualized Learning Program of Study (ILPS). I did everything, wrote my course proposals, the curricula, methods of evaluation, thesis and book. No faculty taught me anything. I did everything. And yet, I was forced as my 1st course, to take some "Prep" "discussion" course online—complete b...sh.. course about Dewey and what looked like Marxist theory. It was a waste of time that I might have used more productively to write another course for myself that actually mattered to my subject of design. So I do not know whether requiring Area of Expertise rather than MA Edu, is part of the solution. And if area schools can't get good teachers because of existing safety issues, such as no school monitored parking, then that solution must be addressed. Still.
It was a huge wake up to see the difference between this and that. And to your point, Ilona, I believe when the POS is arrested, tried and executed, Blacks WILL wake up and so will Libs. Change must happen in this area. He was and still is, a curse upon this country.
The problem still comes from government lowering the standards, making sure they keep the black population down and dependent. There was a time long before the POS (who should be arrested, tried and executed) when blacks were well educated, with high standards, Christians, polite, respectful........when the dads were married to the mom and they were living under the same roof, and the kids knew not to mess up or they have to answer to dad!
That jerk Johnson destroyed the Black family. On purpose. More money to single (i.e. Mother) family households. His quote about that 'success' is too despicable to even write.
