So i guess the administration considers AI as no threat to society, Otherwise they would have put a serious person in charge, She has failed at every assignment she has been given so this one should be no different.

The irony of Caramela Harris being appointed AI Czar is just too rich to ignore. I'm speculating that President Klutz appointed her for the following reasons:
1. He hates her.
2. She has no authority to enact legislation or to regulate anything.
3. He hates her.
4. After hearing her less than articulate speeches, knows that she will benefit from AI.
5. He hates her.
6. Knows that she will fail.
7. He hates her, feels threatened by someone dumber than he is.
