Just a thought - at one time part of the Christian religion was that all other religions and there believers should be eliminated and the whole world should be Christian. Most Christians grew out of it. I guess it must be part of the Abrahamic religions. I guess the Islamics just haven't grown up yet. Remember it is only around 1500 years old and founded in the 7th century AD by a militant, mentally unstable individual.
