I think that men are genetically predisposed to be hunters i.e., providers, protectors and persons of strength, both morally and phyically. The intelligentsia...universities and media, print, film, and television have worked overtime into reducing the American Male into a stereotypical metrosexual a la pajama boy as introduced in Obama's "Let's Talk" push prior to November elections. Any inclination by a man towards traditional masculine pursuits is met with ridicule, ostricization, and outride discrimination in the workplace and social milieus. Athleticism, competetiveness, traditional modes of dress i.e., coat and tie, are discouraged as negative character traits and people that display them are not to be associated with either in the work place or in private. The new epitome of masculinity is dressing unconventionally, replacement of the desire to provide and protect with passivity and submission to feminism and progressive ideas. In short, you men who wish to lead, shut up and step aside for the metrosexual wave of new manhood.
