It certainly is amazing how many posters on this site are able to read Putin’s mind. Do any of you know him personally? Have any of you ever spoken with him? Have any of you ever attended one of his speeches? Have any of you ever lived in Russia?
I suspect the answer is NO to all questions. Where then does this knowledge of his every thought come from? Maybe you’ve heard of his despicable behavior on NBC, CNN, or MSNBC. Perhaps even Sean Hannity or Bill O’Reilly has enlightened you.
We know that his ‘unprovoked invasion’ of Ukraine has endangered OUR democracy and caused the price of gasoline to skyrocket. We know that Putin blew up his own pipeline and then threatened us with nuclear war. And all this was done to restore the old Soviet Union. We know these things to be true because Joe Biden said so. We also now know the only way to combat Putin’s ‘insatiable desire for conquest’ is to shovel billions upon billions and more billions of taxpayer dollars into Ukraine.
Joe Biden isn’t the only one keeping us well informed. Hillary, Pelosi, Schumer, and the usual shit pile of RINOs have verified everything that dribbled out of Joe’s mouth. Putin proved how evil he was when he single handedly stole the 2016 election from Hillary. If you don’t believe that, just ask her. I’m sure she’d be happy to tell you all about it.
NO, NO, yes while not in person a speach doesn't change because you aren't in the room, and while I didn't live in Russia, I lived under soviet rule when Putin was a big shot! We seldom know personally any leader at a higher level, but if they are in politics long enough.....we get a really good feel for how they'll handle situations. Putin is bad on his own, so are many of our politicians and we don't need to rely on our bad politicians for the truth, we can learn the truth about putin from his own history!

In the soviet era your only news would have been through the TASS news agency or the newspapers Izvestia and Pravda. To the best of my knowledge, the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. That, by the way, was the same year Putin went into politics.
If you and the rest of the Putin haters are able to get some REAL information concerning Putin, I am envious. The only information I get is what the mainstream media wants me to see. But if Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity tells you to hate Putin, then by all means hate the SOB with all your might.
My belief is that Joe Biden and the people pulling his strings are a much greater threat to America than Vladimir Putin ever will be.

Putin served 15 years as a foreign intelligence officer for the KGB (Committee for State Security), including six years in Dresden, East Germany. In 1990 he retired from active KGB service with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was a big shot, he held people's lives in his hands.

All under soviet rule studied them and very possible he may have met Khrushchev, Putin was a young boy when he was in power, and a teen when Khrushchev died! I clearly remember seeing and hearing Khrushchev on TV news and papers, and believe it or not, they did not knock their politicians, they talked them up to the people, they were perfect leaders working hard for the people with great plans to make life better to all under them.
you got one thing right, the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, or I should say they left some of the countries under their control that year, others later, and it was a year earlier when it became obvious for those in government they ran out of everyone's money and politics is going to take a huge turn. We have a thing called the internet, much information is available, and some of it is actually true! Perhaps you haven't bothered to study, learn, search for the truth.....it's out there you just have to find it. Also, many who escaped from the communist grip are telling the truth about what it was like, and even what's it like today.......you should listen and learn!
I agree our leadership sucks, many easpecially on the left are extremely dangerous now days, but if you believe Putin isn't a threat to America and our way of life, you are willfully blind. He is building relationships with N Korea, China, Iran, Vietnam, and that is gravely dangerous for the American economy, our place in the world, and our way of life.

Putin is old.....he has a long political past, it isn't difficult to know how he deals in politics, to see his agenda.
I always find it revealing to walk a mile in my adversary's shoes. We now know that the US CIA has been using Ukraine to perform Bio-weapons development and testing as well as using Ukraine as a place to take war on terror prisoners and interogate them beyond what would be allowed either in a US combat zone or inside of the United States. We also know that the US Demoncrat Party and Lying Joe O'Biden's Crime Ring have been using Ukraine to launder huge sums of US taxpayer dollars. Additionally, we know that the US CIA and DoD were looking for a way to skirt the rules for NATO membership on the part of Ukraine as a payoff for all of the Ukrainian Oligarchs' assistance in allowing all of these extra-legal things to go on in Ukraine. Putin could see that a bunch of US Politicians and Officials were in bed with the Ukrainian Oligarchs and were involved in a lot of illegal activities. Russia (before, during, and after Putin) has coveted access to a warm water port and their only option so far has been Crimea and access to the Black Sea. If Ukraine were to become a NATO nation, this would open the door for NATO forces to be stationed on Ukrainian soil, 400km from Moscow, and give NATO control over Russia's ONLY warm water port. Though there was not a whole lot of official saber rattling on the part of the US for Ukrainian membership in NATO, there was lots of covert indicators that the US Government was greasing the skids for Ukraine to join NATO without having to clean up its corruption in government issues. Putin could not stand by and allow that to happen. I am just as irritated as any other American over Putin's invasion of Ukraine; however, this was NOT some illogical act by a mad man. The US Government has become just as corrupt and sneaky as the former Soviet Union Government. Everything most of the veterans on this site fought against during the Cold War, America has now become! It is very upsetting! Nevertheless, don't be blinded to think that Russia and Putin are all bad and that Ukraine and the US are all good. Neither side of the coin is wearing a white hat and riding a white horse. In fact, America is currently led by Black Bart riding a dark grey donkey! I am convinced that if Trump is elected, he will force a sit down discussion between himself, Putin, and Zelenskyy to bring about an end to the War in Ukraine! This is the best solution for the Ukrainian People and the best solution for both Russia and all of the NATO states!
That's the hard truth. All of it.
