You know what I can't find data on? What happened to the money on sold properties from this program. I've tried to get data from 2 AI programs and a general search! I get nothing.

  • I can't afford to buy a house but I am helping to pay for alleged low-income people to buy a house?  Something is very wrong!  And the deMOCKrats think this is totally okay.  How is that serving their constituents?

😡This is what AI tells me about maintenance:

In the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Homeownership Program, Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) provide allowances to families to help with the costs associated with homeownership, including routine maintenance.
While the specific amount of the allowance may vary by PHA, it's intended to help families with the following:
    • Routine Maintenance Costs: This encompasses the ongoing tasks needed to keep a home in good condition, such as minor repairs to plumbing or electrical systems, general upkeep, and preventative maintenance.
    • Saving for Major Repairs and Replacements: The PHA also provides an allowance that helps families set aside funds for larger expenses, such as repairing a roof or replacing major appliances.
It's important to understand that the PHA allowance for routine maintenance is typically not intended to cover the full cost of all repairs, especially major ones. The allowance is designed to provide some assistance and encourage families to actively participate in maintaining their homes.
The PHA's role in maintenance also includes:
    • Inspections: The PHA conducts inspections to ensure the home meets Housing Quality Standards (HQS). These inspections help identify potential issues that need to be addressed.
    • Education: PHAs educate families on their responsibilities as homeowners, including the importance of routine maintenance and addressing repairs promptly.
In summary, the PHA provides an allowance for routine maintenance in the HCV Homeownership Program, which helps families manage the costs of keeping their homes in good condition and save for larger repairs. However, homeowners are still ultimately responsible for ensuring their homes are properly maintained and any necessary repairs are completed.

The more I dive into this, the more I find tax payer money going into it. Now, it seems, they can get a down payment, too.

    2. Down Payment Assistance Programs:
    • Grants: These are funds that do not need to be repaid and are typically offered by governments, non-profit organizations, or other entities.
    • Loans: These may be deferred-payment or forgivable loans that help cover the down payment amount. For example, some programs offer down payment assistance in the form of a second mortgage that is forgiven after a certain period of occupancy.
    • HUD Programs: HUD, through its various initiatives, works with approved entities to offer down payment assistance. Examples include the American Dream Downpayment Initiative (part of the HOME program), which provides funds for down payment and closing costs for eligible homebuyers, according to HUD.gov.

    • Absolutely unreal.

  • Who dreams up this crap?

  • Yet another blatant example of why American Citizens should have NEVER, EVER allowed the Federal Government to take over welfare.  I have said it on this platform before and I will say it again, the LORD GOD (YHWH) NEVER, EVER commanded secular government to do anything; however, He (YHWH) did command His Church to Provide for the orphans and widows!  You see, God (YHWH) knows that His children MUST work in order to eat, but He allowed for widows (over age 60 or beyond marrying age) and orphans to be cared for by the Church (i.e. community of believers) if the immediate and extended families of the widows and orphans could not or would not provide for them.  Of course, any family who was able but refused to care for their own widows and orphans were cursed by God (YHWH).  If We the People of the United States of America desire to actually reform our society and government, we MUST live under the law of God (YHWH) and do as He has instructed!!!

    • Providing for one's family is a fundamental function in God's House... failure to provide for one's own family brings with it a curse, and America is suffering from the Church's failure to teach and encourage men to provide for their immediate and extended family...  Our ancestors understood this Godly precept and God rewarded them and the Nation as a whole...

    • And, God's house extended to reading and education as well as family, church and government. Scripture and morality went hand in hand. It seems so obvious to us but is now lost in America.

      Pilgrim's Progress taught these things:

As I walked through the wilderness of this world, I lighted on a certain place where was a den,3 and laid me down in that place to sleep; and as I slept, I dreamed a dream. I dreamed, and behold, I saw a man clothed with rags, standing in a certain place, with his face from his own house, a book in his hand, and a great burden upon his back. Isa 64:6Luke 14:33Psalm 38:4. I looked and saw him open the book, and read therein; and as he read, he wept and trembled; and not being able longer to contain, he brake out with a lamentable cry, saying, “What shall I do?” Acts 2:3716:30Habak 1:2,3

IOW, Scripture was the foundation of education, family, unity and raising up a child in the way he or she should go.

    • Teaching the Fear of the Lord is a very wise thing.
