If faced with the loss of the case, the defense will seek to politically dilute the signifance of the loss as a pro-2nd Amendment affirmation in actual life. It is highly likely that the prosecutors are mercenaries paid to advance or preserve an agenda that is not necessarily the Nations.
The left would use any and all avenues in order to place the 2nd amendment in an unfavorable light. This case has shown just that.
I suspect if this were a non-jury trial with the same judge on the bench, Kyle would by now be walking the streets a free man.
I have a feeling some of the jury is cramping their pants, worried about themselves, rather than to do their duty. Assuming that's what is holding this up.
This kid better go free......otherwise our system no longer is working. People need to grow backbones and show the thugs that we aren't afraid, threats are not going to make us change our laws.

I actually had a guy in college tell me if that we are attacked the government would supply us any weapons we would need. That was way back when but now I suspect all to many have followed that idiotic thought.

I'd say jurors would neeed to perjure themselves to do so. I am confident the defense employed a litmus test to determine bias during jury selection.
