These students don't need the University's permission to have a vigil... if other groups have had similar open assemblies, their civil rights are being violated...  The University appears to violate the students' 1st and 14th Amendments' civil rights to assemble and speak... not to mention their right to equal protection under the law.Â
The DOJ needs to indict those responsible for ANY violations of Federal Civil Rights Law... the Chancellor, Deans, and Board of Regents may be complicit with unlawful conduct.
