Rep. Rice had earned the former president's ire as one of 10 Republican House members who had voted to impeach Trump in January of last year, just as he was about to leave office.
Last November, Trump issued a call for "good and SMART America First Republican Patriots" to challenge about a dozen Republican House members, including those who had voted for his impeachment and/or the so-called infrastructure bill. Rep. Rice was one of those members.
Rep. Rice was also the subject of a Tuesday morning profile piece by POLITICO's Ally Mutnick, "Death threats and epithets: The lonely primary of one Republican who impeached Trump."
The piece was also part of POLITICO's Morning Playbook for the day, which highlighted how Rep. Rice actually leaned into being derided by Trump:

Rice’s challenger, state Rep. RUSSELL FRY, was endorsed by Trump in February and has made much of his campaign about Rice’s impeachment vote.

It is a shame that Nancy Mace won yesterday in SC against her Trump-backed opponent (whom I really liked by the way). Well maybe the Trump voters will stay home in November znd Mace will lose anyway.
Trump is still working tirelessly to make America great again. He is supporting candidates who will support his MAGA program. That's a great first step. A very large majority of Republicans and the GOP itself are firmly behind Trump no matter what. So, no need to worry, patriots. Trump will come back and will assume total authority over the country as long as we the peopple support him unconditionally to ensure our freedom and liberties.
Don't expect the GOP "party" to lend a hand anytime soon. The establiishment swamp faction is promoting never-Trump candidates whose only aim is to be re-elected for thier own benefit. Trump supporters are the REAL Republicans--not to be confused with the spineless, hapless, back-stabbing, self-indulged maggots like Cheney, Kinsinger, Upton, Graham, Collins, Murkowski, Tillis, Burr, Blunt, Sasse, Kirkpatrick, Jacobs, Anthony Gonzalez, Bacon, Davis, Romney, et al.
He picked the wrong senate candidate in Pennsylvania and a Rhino for Gov in Ga, but I still love him.
