If you’ve missed the news out of Atlanta recently, over the past few months, Antifa-aligned activists have occupied the site of a former prison farm where the city plans on building a public training facility.

Authorities have arrested over a dozen of these Antifa goons and charged them with domestic terrorism. The group — largely from out of town and overloaded with young white people from privileged backgrounds — has camped out on the land under the pretense that it’s some sort of forest that needs protection.

The “protesters” against what the left calls “Cop City” have vandalized the offices of the contractor in charge of the project, confronted contractor employees at their homes, and disrupted church services where employees of the contractor worship. Antifa punks even firebombed a center for at-risk youth located near the planned facility.

Those events took place last year, but a January shootout with police that injured a state trooper and ended the life of one of the Antifa thugs led to even more violence, including the burning of an Atlanta Police cruiser and damage to some buildings in downtown Atlanta.

These incidents, coupled with Friday’s release of the footage of Tyre Nichols’ death at the hands of Memphis police — the type of violence that Atlanta’s public safety training facility is meant to help prevent — led Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Ga.) to declare a state of emergency that allows him to call up the National Guard to deal with threats like these.

Charges of domestic terrorism against these people make perfect sense. Unless you’re NBC.

The network claims that domestic terrorism charges “can be politicized and used against marginalized groups or those disliked by government.”

" camped out on the land under the pretense that it’s some sort of forest" maybe I should camp out of the lawn of the White House and call it a national park!

    • Sure, after all we own it! LOL

WHAT IS ANTIFA? & WHO STARTED IT?

"Antifa, originally known in its native Germany as Antifaschistische Aktion, was founded as a militant wing of the German Communist Party. In the 1930s, it was known to be every bit as violent as its Nazi opponents. After World War Two, Antifa groups re-formed in Germany to collaborate with Soviet communists on subduing the country and rooting out its past to create a new socialist utopia. They were active in Communist-controlled East Germany until that country’s Stalinist leadership got fed up, broke the groups up, and sent many of their leaders to gulags.

While not the subject of national news attention, Antifa groups are even more wantonly violent. In 2012, as many as 18 Antifas from Bloomington Indiana, a University of Indiana college town, busted into a family restaurant in Tinley Park, Illinois, a southern suburb of Chicago because they heard of a meeting of a tiny organization called the Illinois European Heritage Association.

Unprovoked, the men smashed up the restaurant and attacked diners and employees, including those with absolutely no connection to the European Heritage Association lunch with clubs, crowbars, and batons. Only five of the assailants were ever caught and charged. Not one snitched on his fellow Antifa’s, and all served several years in prison. They are still regarded as heroes in the Anntifa community, known as the Tinley Park Five.

It's time for the DOJ to declare Antifa and other left wing groups as terrorist organizations and deal with them accordingly. This group thinks they have a right to suppress peoples First Amendment Rights. That makes them just as bad as any Nazi group.

    • While Swalwell BANG BANGS FANG FANG, what can go wrong? Arresting all three of them would be a good start!

    • Thats a good start now its time to go after some others.

    • It's a good start, but removing them isn't enough, they need to be disciplined much harshly, removal from Congress should not be off the table. One merried her brother and committed immigration fraud,  the other step with a Chinese spy, and Schiff being a serial liar is now running for the senate.
