Trick To Stop 2nd Amendment

A USA Today/Associated Press column published on Thursday suggests lawmakers who are having trouble making progress on gun control might want to try "bullet regulation" instead.

USA Today's Jeanine Santucci writes, "Government leaders who want change say regulating bullets, such as by keeping track of sales, licensing dealers, or doing background checks, is necessary in the ongoing fight to stop mass shootings."

Santucci says the Giffords group and other people who want stricter gun laws also want ammunition sellers to keep records of their sales and give information to law enforcement, which is what New Jersey will soon do.

[New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin (D)] said the collection of data and reporting of large sales to state police, along with other steps like behavioral threat assessments, will help police find criminals. Platkin said gun owners who buy a lot of ammunition and follow the law won't have to worry about anything.

In his column, Santucci also argues for limits on the size of magazines, saying this would make it harder for high-profile shooters to do their jobs.

Santucci didn't talk about a National Review report said the person who shot up Parkland High School on February 14, 2018, used 10-round magazines.

But wait, the FBI said: "Hands, fists, and feet" kill more people than rifles. Should the United States ban hands and feet or just regulate them?

Confused.....
