NBC didn’t mean to say it, but they said everything: Europe is in “crunch time,” paralyzed by infighting, terrified of the United States, sidelined by Trump — and more rattled still by the simmering anger of the Europeans they’ve censored, ignored, and betrayed for the last decade. When even client media starts describing the continent as leaderless, divided, and afraid, the mask doesn’t just slip, the entire facade of Project Ukraine collapses in public view.

Europe isn’t simply fractured, Europe is finished as a strategic actor, thanks to its mass Russophobic psychosis.

European leaders now whisper it in panic: they feel “genuine fear and distrust” of the United States. Not because Trump is unpredictable, but because Trump has done the unthinkable, he has exposed Europe’s entire Ukraine narrative as a scaffolding of delusions. The moment Washington stepped aside, the facade collapsed, revealing a bloc that cannot act, cannot unite, cannot defend itself, and refuses to tell Europeans the truth. This is why it censors speech, and implements an Orwellian dystopia.

As former Estonian president Ilves admits, “The internal split in the EU ultimately demonstrates the weakness of the bloc.” A structure that disintegrates the moment pressure is applied is not a union. It is a hollow empire of paperwork, incapable of strategy and unworthy of respect.

Trump didn’t “exclude Europe from the negotiations.” Europe excluded itself the moment it mistook performative Russophobia for policy. Europe chose ideology over energy, moral theatrics over diplomacy, and now finds itself begging for relevance in a war it pretended to lead.

“Europe has shown neither teeth nor strength,” Ilves adds. He is being polite. Europe has shown cowardice masquerading as conviction, and self-harm masquerading as strategic cohesion.

Because this was never just a dead end. It was industrial suicide, committed in broad daylight. The EU elite deliberately dismantled the continent’s energy backbone, handed its manufacturing to global competitors, and plunged future generations into suffocating debt, all to maintain a psychosis of Russophobia that has devoured their own economies while fueling Moscow's economic rise.

NBC now quietly admits what Europe’s people have been sensing: the bloc isn’t battling Russia anymore, it is battling insolvency, disunity, demographic collapse, internal revolt, and its extinguished relevance. Ukraine is running out of men; Europe is running out of money; and Brussels is running out of stories to sell the painful consequences of its arrogance.

Belgium panics over the EU desire to steal frozen Russian assets. Hungary stands strong and blocks via veto. Germany freezes. France plays a double game. The EU doesn’t act as a union, it fractures.

Meanwhile, Russia advances steadily, methodically, with industrial capacity Europe once mocked but now lacks. Ukraine bleeds because Brussels needed a moral crusade to distract from its own failures. Europeans pay because their leaders bet their entire future on a guarantee Washington never intended to honor forever.

And Washington has now put it in writing. The U.S. National Security Strategy declares Europe’s collapse openly: A fall from 25% of global GDP to 14%. A continent drifting into “civilizational erasure.” A future where Europe will be “unrecognizable in 20 years.”

The truth that Brussels fears most — the truth they censor, the truth they fine platforms for, is the truth the world can now see: the disappearance they scripted for Russia arrived, but it arrived in Europe instead.

Russia stands sovereign, anchored, rising, the Eurasian pole Europe ridiculed into existence. The US is preparing for the post-war order with cold clarity, having downloaded the humiliation onto Europe's elite.

The humiliation descending on Europe’s elite is not America's doing. It is the price of their own delusions. They thought they could defeat Russia and with their arrogant hubris, destroyed Europe.

  • Ever since the Implementation of the Marshall Plan, Europe has been a welfare society paid for by the United States of America.  Even during the Cold War, our supposed European Allies failed to do their part to defend Europe from the Soviet Union even diagreeing with and opposing the US and our actions to prepare for the potential Soviet invasion of Western Europe.  When the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain collapsed the Europeans could not wait for the US to drastically reduce its basing and staging in Europe; however, when they understood that the removal of US bases and servicemembers from their communities came at a financial cost the Europeans screamed for greater US investment and welfare payments.  The EU was nothing more than more useless bureaucracy from its inception and now that the Europeans can no longer count on the US to fight their wars while also propping up their failing economies they are breaking down and crying like a child throwing a temper tantrum.  The only thing America's handouts did for Europe was set the stage for their adoption of Socialism while giving them the belief that Europeans were the betters of the Americans.  I know from personal experience while serving in the US Military in Europe that we would have been better off NOT listening to the Europeans on the whole Balkan Affair and that we would have been much better off when conducting military operations if we did not have the baggage of our European Allies participating.  The European militaries were all 20 to 40 years behind the US in technology and doctrine, and it was a chore to find a mission that we could allow our European Allies to do that made them feel like they were contributing to military operations.  However, in every case the mission could have been accomplished quicker and with a whole lot less headaches had the US just done the mission ourselves.  BOTTOM LINE:  Our European Allies have been nothing more than a weight around our necks for the past 100+ years and it is time that the US pulled back and forced Europe to stand on its own two feet.  SINK OR SWIM, THE CHOICE IS THEIRS!!!
