Trump says  the situation at the southern border is "absolutely crazy."

Friday, former President Donald Trump said  the huge number of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. southern border after Title 42 ended was "absolutely crazy."

Trump said  the "invasion" of illegal immigrants after Title 42 ended was "unprecedented." Title 42 was a policy  Trump used during the COVID-19 pandemic to quickly deport illegal immigrants for health reasons.

Trump said, "Nowhere in the world has there ever been such a big invasion at our southern border." "It's crazy as hell."

Trump also talked about the situation at the southern border during a CNN town hall on Wednesday night.

"Look at what's happening on our southern border," Trump said. "Millions and millions of people are coming. People are getting out of jail and getting out of mental institutions, and millions of people are coming to our country. Now, they're getting rid of Title 42, which I worked on and which kept sick people out.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin, a Republican from Oklahoma, the end of Title 42 is a huge threat to the United States' national security.

"Title 42 does not stop immigration," said Mullin. "It stops single men from going alone and gives us the chance to catch them, hold them for up to three days, take their fingerprints, and find out who they are. Since Title 42 has been in place, we've caught 82, no, 83 known attackers. These people are not on the watch list of terrorists. These people are known to be terrorists." 

Mullins also said  at least 160 people on the U.S. list of people to watch for terrorism have been caught at the border in the past year. 

Peter Navarro, a former trade assistant in the Trump administration, Thursday  Democrats want this flood of illegal immigrants because they think it will help them get more people to vote.

Navarro said, "The Democrat plan for open borders is a big bet." "They think  if they give them parole, which you know they will try to do, everyone who comes across there will vote Democrat. They are putting them on buses and sending them to the red states to try to upset the political balance. They have no interest. All they care about is political power and their own woke goal."

In conclusion. If the Republican had any courage they would not raise the debt limit until the border is secure. Let June 1^st come and see how much courage the Republicans have.
