There was no peace there for decades, long before Trump, long before Biden these people were killing each other for decades. Why do you think we suddenly have so many Ukrainians in America......who came here years before Putin officially went into Ukraine? Many youth came here to avoid going into the military, many are Russians with Ukrainian citizenship so they don't have to fight there, they came seeking asylum long before the American public had any idea what was already going on there for years.
Zelensky is going to keep poking the bear until Putin lauches some Nukes. Then....game over!
When Putin does that, he will make all the land he wants unlivable, killing his own people as well, affecting, poisoning neighboring nations too. Who wins? Eventually both sides run out of people to fight! He wants all of Ukraine, and he'd love to be the "leader" of a recreated Soviet Union, to be remembered in history as a modern day Ginghis Khan!
I don't like Zelenskyy, I think he is a punk, but I will never understand why everyone directs hate on him and not the one who started this, attacked a sovereign country with internationally agreed borders to take lands from Ukraine because there were a majority of Russians living there? These Russians living there could sell their property and move to Russia.....the largest nation in the world! They chose to fight over this land, have MILLIONS of their youth die on both sides, and this war didn't begin five years ago, it has been going on in those areas for a decade or more!
Putin is also a punk, a murderous punk with a long history of cruelty against his own people (KGB) to advance to his position today, enjoying his power and his stolen enormous wealth.
Just because we have Mexicans living in USA border states who fly Mexican flags and protest against America......should we give those areas to Mexico so those people can live in their beloved Mexico?
Do I think it's a good idea blowing up refineries in Russia? To escalate this insane war? Of course not, but would we do the same to a nation attacking us to try to stop them, to enable them, to slow down the machine, to take out their fuel source?
