Adriean Benn, 26, originally charged with first-degree murder for shooting and killing 24-year-old Jorian Hardeway (father of two) at a downtown Austin club in March 2021, pled guilty — but prosecutors cut it to second-degree manslaughter.

Outcome: No prison.
• 5 years probation (keeps conviction off record if completed)
• 200 hours community service
• Anger management classes
• $6,500 restitution
• Banned from downtown Austin 9 p.m.–6 a.m.
• No firearms
