Ukraine and Russia are equally corrupt and I know from personal experience as a Nuclear Surety Officer going into both countries following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the removal of Nucs from Ukraine and a reduction in Russia. The main difference between President Trump and our European NATO Allies is the question of Ukrainian membership in NATO. Ukraine meets none of the requirements for NATO membership and based on the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances of December 1994, the US and UK committed to NOT ALLOWING Ukraine to join NATO. President Trump is very pragmatic and he knows that to end this war, Putin must save face and Ukraine must get their land back (minus Crimea most likely). Both Russia and Ukraine must have some measure of security guarantees which means Ukraine must remain neutral but could be a part of some bilateral security agreements, say with the United States, that guarantees their security. What President Trump is currently working is exactly that while also keeping the US from having to fund Ukrainian Defense forever. This would allow all sides, US, Russia, Ukraine to win.

The Ukraine is a corrupt dictatorship, where people hate their leadership. In contrast, Russia is a successful democracy where people love their president.
While I agree that Ukraine is corrupt, there is no way Russia is either a democracy or successful. Wake up and open your eyes. It might also be helpful if you learned the principles of democracy!

Ukraine corrupt?? You bet, they lined Bidens pockets. Think I read or saw where the Congo offered to do a minerals deal with the U.S. as option #2.
We need the minerals, but that's not all this is. This deal supposed to secure Ukrain from another war by Putin to secure the rest of Europe because if he feels comfortable again to do it again...he will use china if he needs to who will happily play along. Europe is STUPID, they witnessed the Soviet agenda and while they are worried about Putin, west Europe assumes he will be satisfied with Eastern Europe again, and if they are kissing ass to him it will make him nice! It works with the terrorists too.....right!
