I pray that all Americans remember that the Demoncratic Party is PRO-CRIME and is the cause of the rampant violent crime we are experiencing today. If you fail to vote for your best interest, then you deserve exactly what you get.
The heavy crime area has always been on the South Side, Mexicans and Blacks, overwhelmingly. Many more police stationed around, especially during the summer. Always stationed at ball parks. Although, I knew one person, who dropped his girlfriend off, after having a fight, and didn't walk her to the door. She was shot and murdered, right in front of her condo. And she was not South Side. And yes, polticians were dirty. The head of the mob lived in the burbs, though, out in Riverside. No crime there. None.
In your time maybe but not mine. Organized crime wass heavy throughout Chicago even in Mayor Daley times. It was as bad as New york and New Jersey once upon a time.

I can't remember a time when Chicago WASN'T a major crime area from way back in the 30s to now. That, to me, implies the politicians are in on it too.
