Listen up! Republican lawmakers express strong opposition to federal reparations proposal, branding it 'absurd.' On Wednesday, Democratic lawmakers unveiled a resolution calling on the federal government to provide reparations worth trillions of dollars to descendants of slaves and individuals of African descent. However, not all members of Congress support this initiative.

Rep. Kat Cammack, a Republican, criticized the push for federal reparations, attributing it to what she referred to as the influence of "woke ideology." She expressed concern about the culture of victimhood in the country, emphasizing the need to maintain a society where individuals can pursue any goal they desire.

Democratic Rep. Cori Bush argued  reparations must be implemented at the federal level, as it was the federal government who caused the harm in the first place. Bush emphasized the necessity of addressing the significant wealth gap between Black and white communities, which she attributes to historical racist governmental policies.

During a press conference, Bush, along with Democratic Reps. Barbara Lee, Jamaal Bowman, and Rashida Tlaib, stressed the urgent need for the government to address the extensive harm inflicted upon Black Americans since the founding of the country. However, Bush did not specify the source of funding for reparations, stating  discussions on this matter are ongoing.

Republican Rep. Chip Roy dismissed the idea of reparations as absurd and unworthy of consideration. Rep. Gary Palmer expressed concerns about the financial implications, particularly considering the country's existing debt issues and the potential impact on the economy.

Opinion polls indicate  reparations are not widely supported among Americans. According to a 2021 survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, only 30% of U.S. adults believe descendants of slaves should receive compensation. However, the same survey showed  77% of Black Americans support reparations.

Bowman, who represents New York's 16th district, argued  since the federal government endorsed slavery, it should hold itself accountable for its actions. He highlighted the ongoing harm inflicted upon Black Americans by policies throughout American history.

Bowman commended California for taking the lead in the reparations debate, referring to the state's Reparations Task Force, which proposed cash payments reaching as high as $1.2 million per recipient. Cammack criticized Governor Newsom's lack of support for the initiative, noting  he recognizes the significant financial burden it would place on the state, even though slavery was never legal in California.

In conclusion. The liberals must destroy America by any means. If bankruptcy works then they are all in! If virus works then they are ready! By any means, any method and crush anyone who gets in the way!

Reparation is simply a means to an end.
