One of our fine members requested this article. Frustration is understandable. When it seems no one in Washington faces real consequences, when officials appear to ignore the laws they swore to uphold, and when policies seem to favor illegal aliens over American citizens, many people conclude their vote and their effort no longer matter. That feeling is widespread, and it is also just not true!
Our American system was built on the opposite premise: that ordinary people, acting lawfully and persistently, can check power, correct course, and preserve self-government.
History supplies clear examples. In early 1776, most colonists were not committed to full independence. Then Thomas Paine published a short pamphlet called Common Sense. It was not a long treatise or a speech in Congress. It was plain language aimed at ordinary readers, arguing that the monarchy was unjust and that independence was both practical and right. Within months, it sold hundreds of thousands of copies—an enormous number for the time. It shifted public opinion, strengthened resolve in the Continental Congress, and helped turn a simmering dispute into decisive action. One person’s clear, timely argument changed our beloved nation's trajectory.
That pattern has repeated many times. I was honored to be one of the original founders of the modern-day Tea Party movement. I had the honor to speak in front of the Senate, march down Pennsylvania Avenue, and go on countless radio and TV shows, because I’m great? Hell NO. Because America is great and gives individuals the opportunity to make a historic impact!
The Tea Party was founded as a grassroots reaction to spending, debt, and what participants saw as disregard for constitutional limits. Citizens who had not previously been politically active showed up at town halls, organized locally, and demanded that elected officials explain their actions and votes. Our movement influenced primaries, shifted legislative priorities, and demonstrated that sustained, peaceful pressure from outside the permanent political class can still move institutions. I assure you, we and the movement were far from perfect, and we did not solve every problem, but it proved that organized citizens are not powerless and are an ominous force when organized and focused.
Furthermore, the Tea Party movement set the stage for Donald Trump to run for President of the United States and form the MAGA movement from stalwart Tea Party members.
The same principle applies now. Voting is the most basic and peaceful tool the Constitution provides. Showing up for local meetings, writing letters, supporting candidates who prioritize the rule of law, blogging and posting on the Patriot Command Center, and simply refusing to stay silent all matter.
Accountability is rarely instant and never automatic; it arrives when enough people insist on it through lawful channels. Giving up accelerates the very outcomes people fear, and what the opponents of liberty crave.
Continuing to toil—even when results are unfinished—keeps liberty alive!
The Constitution opens with “We the People” for a reason. It does not begin with “We the Experts” or “We the Officials.” The Republic has survived because enough individuals decided, at critical moments, that their actions were worth the effort. Thomas Paine did not wait for perfect conditions or guaranteed success. Neither did the early Continental Army organizers. Neither should any American who still believes the country’s founding principles are worth defending.
Your vote, your voice, and your lawful persistence still count. History shows that one person, joined by others who refuse to quit, has repeatedly made the difference.
Be that person.

Here is the request from one of our great members:
Could you please write a short article telling people that their vote, their actions, them believing in America and fighting peacefully to help keep our Republic matter. Many people seem to be giving up because no one gets held accountable; criminal politicians keep doing treasonous actions (example: trying to overthrow the legally elected President ), lying openly to Americans, voting against Americans and for illegals, terrorists, etc. I can not tell you the number of people saying they do not matter and that nothing will save us. We the people must never give up, we do matter, our actions matter and the tea party is a prime example of people who stand up for the Republic, the Constitution, and the laws of our nation. thank you for all you do.
