          What the record shows is a list of women who liar-Hillary has done anything but defend, hear or believe. We're all familiar with Bill and his penchant for womanizing. When liar-Hillary was asked about these women and their claims, she said, "I would say that everybody should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence."           Earlier this month, Aetna became the latest of the nation's five largest health insurers to stop expanding its nObamaCare coverage. Just like Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna and Humana, Aetna is projecting significant losses going forward.

          In May, Cigna didn't project profits or losses but said it expected customer reductions in its individual business.

          In July, Humana also announced that next year they would service "no more" than 11 state exchanges, down from the 19 states where it sold policies in 2016 — following a staggering $1 billion of losses.

          And then there are — or were — the highly vaunted nObamaCare co-ops. Of the 23 initially established, only seven remain, and six of those are currently on "corrective action plans," Kevin Counihan, a top official from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), told lawmakers.

          Plenty of predictions were made about the unsustainability of nObamaCare, but an arrogant president and his Democrat Party colleagues who sold a pack of lies to a "stupid" American public refused to listen. Adding insult to injury the media have now "discovered" the law's tragic flaw, as in nagging problems that "seem to center on lower-than-hoped-for enrollment, sicker-than-expected customers, and a balky internal stabilization system that didn't deliver as advertised and was already scheduled to be pared back next year," NBC reported.

          The Hill has also come around, reporting, "The next president could be dealing with an nObamaCare insurer meltdown in his or her very first month."

          In the meantime, a bubble similar to the one that led to the 2008 stock market meltdown has been created. And once again arrogance was an integral part of the equation. Taking care of sick people is big business, and while it has been bad for the insurance companies it was a boon for large, merging health care systems and consolidating physician groups, initially touted as desirable by one of the law's drafters. Yet as Dr. Thomas McElroy, CEO of Echelon-Health, explains, "[N]o one came around to ask doctors what would happen when the most complicated patients where shuttled to the exchange plans. A small practice can't survive; that's why doctors are being bought up by hospital groups or abandoning insurance altogether for membership groups."

          That pump isn't happening. In October 2015, the CMS announced that its "risk corridor" program, one of the mechanisms whereby profitable nObamaCare insurers would bail out unprofitable insurers, would only pay 12.6% of claims. In February, a lawless administration illegally moved $3.5 billion in taxpayer funds intended for the U.S. Treasury to insurance companies.

          Even overt malfeasance helped. In 2016, average premiums were up substantially in most states.

          Next year? "Insurers in 49 states have submitted their premium requests to regulators, and the average 'enrollment-weighted' rate increase, which accounts for market share, is in the range of 18% to 23%, The Wall Street Journal reveals. "The Congressional Budget Office projected 8%."

          Presidential politics is part of the equation as well. The fourth enrollment period for the law begins one week before the election. Last year, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) didn't release the final rates until October 25. If it does the same this year, people will have only days to find a plan before deciding whether to cast their vote for liar-Hillary Clinton and her "more of the same (or worse) approach, or Donald Trump, who might perhaps move to repeal and replace nObamaCare.

          The best way to fix America's health care system? Require every government official to be insured by the same program they inflict on the "little people." Nothing could be more effective than that.  ~The Patriot Post

          Couple her "charitable" giving with the recent emails released from Judicial Watch, which strongly indicate that liar-Hillary moonlighted for her foundation while she was secretary of state, and the picture becomes clearer of a woman who has for years been actively organizing and manipulating the system for her own political aims.

          Not only have the liar-Clintons donated to their own foundation, but companies that already paid lucrative speaking fees to the liar-Clintons also donated to the foundation. Douglas Becker is CEO of Laureate Education, a for-profit university, which is a major donor to the liar-Clinton Foundation. This past year Laureate paid Bill over $1 million in speaking fees, and that's just the latest in an annual haul for Bill from Laureate. This same Douglas Becker also heads a non-profit called the International Youth Foundation, which received millions from USAID in 2010. USAID is a wing of the State Department. This week featured mostly good news on the voter ID front. We begin with Texas, where last month the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals criticized the state's voter ID requirements — which they viewed as prejudice against minorities — and ordered a lower court to revise and remedy the law. On Wednesday, a compromise was reached. The words "soften" and "weaken" were almost universally reported in newspaper headlines — an accurate description, to be sure. But it's equally important to note, as Heritage Foundation fellow Hans von Spakovsky does, that this "is probably about the best deal Texas could expect to get given the circumstances and personalities in the case." He explains:

          Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals stayed a ruling by District Court Judge Lynn Adelman, who objected to and subsequently nullified that state's voter ID mandate. The appeals court declared: "We conclude both that the district court's decision is likely to be reversed on appeal and that disruption of the state's electoral system in the interim will cause irreparable injury." This case is independent of a similar one involving District Court Judge James Peterson, but let's hope Peterson is similarly berated.

          Finally, for those wondering why we need voting laws, consider the case of Olivia Lee Reynolds of Dothan, Alabama, who along with two other people conspired to rig a municipal election by falsely tallying votes. A jury found Reynolds culpable last year and she was ultimately sentenced to probation. Despite pleading guilty, Reynolds went through the appeals court seeking to have her sentencing overturned. Last week, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals denied her request.

Michael Swartz: Political favors are nothing new, so the allegation that liar-Hillary Clinton greased the skids for a number of shady characters and hangers-on while she was running the State Department should not be surprising. (She is a liar-Clinton, after all.) So when we learned that Judicial Watch uncovered more emails that provide hard evidence liar-Hillary was engaged in buying and selling political favors as secretary of state — messages somehow missed when she insisted all of her private server emails were accounted for — well, it's par for the course.

          In fact, these emails prove an ongoing "pay-to-play" pattern at the liar-Clinton Foundation State Department. The most recently revealed group of emails came from liar-Hillary's longtime associate Huma Abedin, and they showed that those who had access to the liar-Clinton Foundation were quick to ask for assistance in a number of areas: securing employment for an associate of liar-Clinton Foundation official Doug Band as someone who is "important to take care of," as well as for a friend of Lana Moresky, who is described as a "major liar-Clinton fundraiser"; arranging meetings between a high-dollar Nigerian donor named Gilbert Chagoury and former ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman to advance Chagoury's business interests; or helping to shape our policy with China to benefit the Wall Street firm Morgan Stanley, thanks to its Asian Chairman Stephen Roach, another major donor. While liar-Hillary couldn't come up with a proper "reset" button for the Russians, it appears she did have time to set up those connected with the liar-Clinton Foundation — and keep her husband busy in a very lucrative manner.

          Naturally, those with the most vested interest in a liar-Hillary presidency shrugged this off as a "move on, nothing to see here" moment. liar-Clinton surrogate and onetime Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm told CNN, "I wasn't in the State Department at the time. But I do know that she has abided by the ethics agreement she signed at the beginning, which was not to take any action on the part of the State Department that mixed [liar-Clinton] Foundation business."

          More troubling, though, is what may have been revealed by the 30,000 emails liar-Hillary deleted before they could be turned over for the various ongoing probes into her activities. That's right — this smoking gun was either one she and her staff missed in their mass deletions, or it's one they didn't mind being found. (There's also the possibility that the Russians or Chinese possess some of liar-Clinton's email, or other shadowy groups that contribute to the WikiLeaks site.) Those in the know aren't talking, perhaps mindful of the oddly numerous premature deaths among those in line to spill the beans on liar-Hillary.

          The fact that liar-Clinton is the odds-on favorite to be our next president despite her history of lies, subterfuge and secrecy with a dose of incompetence is just as damning an indictment on our culture and her incredibly weak opponent as any criminal charges she's so far avoided. Evidence continues to show that fracking is not just financially beneficial, but safe. In 2014 the Institute for Energy Research reported findings estimating a high-end energy cost relief of a remarkable $248 billion in 2013 as a direct result of fracking. Meanwhile, in April, yet another study failed — as myriad other studies have — to link fracking to environmental contamination (naysayers, by the way, tried desperately to conceal this).

          These facts alone are enough to raise serious questions about why ecofascists have launched an assault on fracking, a technology they supported before it became a concrete solution to the world's purported environmental calamities. But there's another area fracking benefits that garners hardly any attention, though it should for those who claim to be concerned about the greenhouse gas effect. The Energy Information Administration says carbon dioxide emissions are currently on pace to hit a 24-year low in the United States, according to the Washington Examiner:

          This should be welcome news for the International Olympic Committee considering it approved Rio's making a big deal of CO₂ and "climate change" at Friday's opening ceremonies. Actually, America is doing just great. But Brazil sure could use some work — starting with less deforestation and cleaning up its junk-ridden water.  -The Patriot Post

          The Associated Press, which is more than happy to perpetuate the Left's racial grievance narrative, reports, "With startling statistics, a federal investigation of the Baltimore Police Department documents in 164 single-spaced pages what black residents have been saying for years: They are routinely singled out, roughed up or otherwise mistreated by officers, often for no reason."

          Indeed, when you consider what's missing from the report from this 15-month federal investigation, the statistics may seem more selective than startling. For example, while the investigation was prompted by the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody, the Washington Post notes that "Justice Department investigators did not focus ... on Gray's death in particular. That is part of a separate, ongoing federal investigation. Instead, they assessed generally how police do their jobs in Baltimore."

          You'll recall that all six Baltimore officers involved in the Gray case were either acquitted or had charges thrown out, despite the city's settling with Gray's family for an astounding $6.4 million. That notwithstanding, the city's mayor was cheered as she gaveled in the Democrat National Convention last month.

          Nevertheless, the city's police are racist. This is strikingly similar to Ferguson, Missouri, where the Justice Department cleared police officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown yet still concluded Ferguson's police are racist all the same.

          What is the Justice Department really getting at by targeting the department with accusations of racism? In the end, like everything Barack nObama does, this is about one thing: control. As Jazz Shaw observes, "In perhaps the most chilling section of the account, the Attorney General is said to be seeking a court-enforceable consent decree to force the police agency to commit to improving its procedures in order to avoid a lawsuit. ... Local policing, traditionally under the control of the state or municipal government, will be met with lawsuits brought against these same local entities if Washington doesn't approve of their performance."

          Of course, this shouldn't surprise anyone. This is the same federal government that wants to control kids' education, make neighborhoods comply with federal racial quotas, dictate Americans' health care, force nuns to pay for contraception and abortion, require schools to let boys in girls' locker rooms... and the list goes on.

          Meanwhile, following nObama's pattern of attacking the men and women in blue who keep us safe every day, liar-Hillary Clinton isn't even trying to earn the endorsement of the National Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 335,000 members. The union's president rightly observed that this "sends a powerful message" — and not a good one.

Nuance is seemingly lost on the Leftmedia — at least that's what they act like when challenged by statements that cut to the root of a leftist cause. Case in point is Donald Trump's recent statement, "liar-Hillary wants to abolish ... essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, [there's] nothing you can do, folks." The media went into attack mode, calling Trump's statements false by pointing to the fact that liar-Hillary Clinton has never publicly said that she wants to abolish the Second Amendment. Technically, that's true. But it's also abundantly clear that liar-Hillary is no friend to our sacred right to keep and bear arms.

          According to her policy adviser Maya Harris, "liar-Clinton believes [the 2008 Supreme Court ruling in] Heller was wrongly decided in that cities and states should have the power to craft common sense laws to keep their residents safe." liar-Clinton has deliberately misinterpreted the Heller ruling, which clarified that the Second Amendment protects the right of individuals to keep and bear arms; a right which city and state governments are not free to take away. Heller did not invent a right, as did leftists' favorite abortion and same-sex marriage decisions. Recall just last year at a town hall meeting in Keene, New Hampshire, liar-Hillary opined that she'd be willing to consider gun control methods similar to those used in Australia, which banned certain guns and initiated a government mandated gun buy-back program. What kind of Second Amendment support is that?

          Fast forward back to today, and clearly Trump was referencing Second Amendment defenders, who are quite a political force for the preservation of Americans' right to bear arms. liar-Clinton and her campaign are simply using Trump's off the cuff remark as another means of trolling him, seeking to spin everything he says against him.           No, this isn't the backdrop to the latest installment of The Hunger Games or The Maze Runner, this is the reality facing the city of Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Olympic Games.

          Brazil is in the midst of an outbreak of the Zika virus, which is carried by mosquitos and can lead to serious illness and even death. It has caused deformities and death in the babies of infected pregnant women. The outbreak is so concerning (despite the IOC and World Health Organization promising that everything will be fine) that a group of 200 doctors and bioethicists signed a letter months ago urging the games be postponed or moved to another city. Many athletes pulled out of the games rather than risk infection. Understandable, considering one athlete had to have emergency surgery after a minor cut became infected in Rio's waters.

          Zika is not the only infection risk facing athletes in Rio. Massive amounts of pollution and raw human sewage, including feces, continue to be dumped into the river and waterways where athletes will be competing in the sailing, rowing and open-water swimming events. The level of dangerous viruses in the water is astonishingly high — so much so that Dr. Valerie Harwood, Chair of the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of South Florida, warned athletes not to put their heads under water, lest they accidentally ingest some of the polluted water and become "violently ill." The situation is so bad that athletes and visitors are being warned that even the sand on the beach contains dangerous levels of viruses. The beaches have also been found to contain drug-resistant bacteria.

          Rio is also plagued by heavily armed criminal gangs roaming the streets. These gangs have committed nearly 100,000 violent crimes in the first six months of this year, including 31 victims killed during attempted robberies. Already, Olympic athletes have been robbed, news crews have been attacked and had their equipment stolen, and one athlete was kidnapped and driven around the city, forced to withdraw money from ATM's. These criminal gangs also seem to prefer international visitors, with an average of 15 foreign tourists targeted for attacks each day since the opening of the athletes' village on July 24. All of this is on top of the political unrest that was already present before the start of the games, as well as the ever-present danger of terrorists targeting such a high-profile event.

          The construction debacle is reminiscent of Beijing's 2008 games, which our own Mark Alexander attended and recounted.

          The people who suffer most may be the people of Brazil themselves. The final cost for hosting the Olympics looks to be $12 billion, while revenues are projected to be just $5-6 billion — and half of that will go to the IOC. This is a difficult burden to bear for a country struggling through its worst financial crisis and recession in a quarter century. And if history repeats itself, within just a few years these infrastructure investments will be abandoned and dilapidated. Just 20 years after Atlanta hosted the 1996 summer Olympics, the only Olympic structure still standing is Turner Field, which will no longer be hosting games after this season since the Braves are moving to suburban Cobb County. The city of Boston turned down the Olympics after refusing to put its taxpayers on the hook for the inevitable cost overruns. City leaders were onto something.

          And yet for all the doom and gloom, it sure is fun to watch American athletes win so many gold medals. Indeed, the glory of it all is what makes countries and cities fight through the problems to host the quadrennial spectacle.  -The Patriot Post

          Who was this man that was just publicly hanged shortly after returning to Iran? Amiri was one of Iran's nuclear scientists, and in 2009 he disappeared while on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, and he reappeared in several online videos in the United States. The timing of his disappearance was at the height of Western efforts to disrupt Iran's nuclear program. In 2010, he returned to Iran, and was greeted with a hero's welcome. Soon after, he disappeared again.

          Did liar-Clinton's emails seal this man's fate? As National Review's Jim Geraghty notes, "[I]t's unnerving to see she was discussing such material on an insecure system. We don't know for certain that the Iranians had successfully hacked into liar-Clinton's server — as FBI Director Comey said, hackers are good at covering their tracks — but it seems foolish to assume Tehran could not. Friendly references to Amiri in private email by liar-Hillary and her staff would destroy his claims to his captors that he wasn't voluntarily helping American intelligence."

          More likely than Iran doing the hacking is that Russia is the culprit. The two nations are thick as thieves when it comes to Iran's nuclear program, and it's extremely likely that Moscow has some valuable dirt on liar-Clinton, some of which was perhaps shared with the mullahs.

          So what of liar-Clinton's emails? In 2010, Jake Sullivan sent two emails about a week apart to liar-Hillary's private server. Neither of the emails mentioned Amiri by name, but the first email notes that the videos were a "psychological" issue and that "our friend has to be given a way out." The second email, sent two days before CNN reported a $5 million payout, warned of "problematic news stories" to come as a cover for Amiri's return to Iran.

          This is what FBI Director James Comey meant when he called liar-Hillary "extremely careless in the handling of very sensitive, highly classified information."

          There are other untimely, mysterious deaths in the last six weeks as well — all with ties to the liar-Clintons. Last week, there were two deaths within two days. The first was a prominent liar-Clinton critic, researcher and reporter for the American Free Press named Victor Thorn. He was found in his home, dead of a gunshot wound to the head, in what has been reported as a suicide. It was his 54th birthday.

We noted last week that if Barack nObama's fantastic economic recovery had been even average, the U.S. would have another $2.2 trillion in GDP. The reason for that is his regulatory bonanza. What do we mean by that? Well, The Wall Street Journal reports, "nObama's regulators have completed their 600th major rule. A major rule imposes costs of more than $100 million. For those keeping score, that's an average of 81 big ones a year, or roughly one every three days the government is open. Who says our bureaucracies are inefficient?" Team nObama has issued 100 major rules in the last year, and the regulator in chief still has nearly six months left with his phone and pen.

          What are some of these rules? For example, The Washington Examiner provides a list of the seven most expensive climate regulations. Among them: $156 billion for lower vehicle emissions, $27.3 billion for refrigerator efficiency and $13 billion for florescent lights.

          The agreement, which closed the books on a failed weapons deal reached just prior to the overthrow of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi during the 1979 Iranian revolution, was originally announced in January, and even then it was criticized as a ransom payment in exchange for five Americans held by Iran. nObama also asserted it was not part of the nuclear accord. "With the nuclear deal done, prisoners released, the time was right to resolve this dispute as well," he said at the White House on Jan. 17 — without mentioning the deal included $400 million in cash denominated in euros, Swiss francs and other currencies procured from the central banks of the Netherlands and Switzerland.

          And not released prisoners. Exchanged prisoners, as in the release, or pre-trial pardon, of seven people of Iranian descent, three of whom had been imprisoned for attempting to provide Iran with advanced technology, along with the dismissal of arrest warrants against 14 others.

          nObama was equally dismissive. "It is not at all clear to me why cash as opposed to a wire transfer has made this into a new story," he stated. "Maybe because it feels like some spy novel or some crime novel because cash was exchanged."

          Or maybe, as former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey revealed, sanctions that prevent engaging in dollar transactions with Iran remain in place, making it necessary to use other currencies. And why cash? "There is principally one entity within the Iranian government that has need of untraceable funds," Mukasey explains. "That entity is the Quds Force — the branch of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps focused particularly on furthering the regime's goals world-wide by supporting and conducting terrorism."

          And make no mistake: Even officials in the nObama administration's corrupt Justice Department objected to the cash transfer, but they were overruled by an equally corrupt State Department. "People knew what it was going to look like," stated one of the objectors, "and there was concern the Iranians probably did consider it a ransom payment."

          The administration's reflexive stonewalling, and Leftmedia efforts to bury it, continue. "White House officials have declined to say whether the rest of the $1.7 billion payment ... was also made in cash," The New York Times reported Friday — buried in the 13th paragraph of its article.

          So what's not old news? "In sum, the nObama administration has provided Iran with $400 million under circumstances in which it well knows that at least some of this cash will be used for terrorism," writes former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy. But this was a good move on his part to show solidarity with these families and to support — including monetarily — their cause. And that's why you may not hear this story on the evening news. Normally when someone is caught in a blatant violation of the rules and they are given the option to cease or be punished, the choice would seem an obvious one. For those leading the IRS it would seem that they are loathe to cease their discriminating behavior. On Friday, the District of Columbia U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously reversed a lower court ruling now allowing those conservative groups who were targeted by the IRS to continue their suit against the agency.

          Upon hearing the ruling, True the Vote, Inc., one of the plaintiffs in the case, said it "welcomed the ruling as a positive step toward justice after its First Amendment rights were violated by the IRS, dating back to 2010." This ruling is separate from the Justice Department's investigation that ended in October of last year, with no charges brought against the IRS. At least some avenue for justice is still available for those who were targeted by the IRS, but at the same time, the institutional corruption is going to be extremely difficult to eradicate.  -The Patriot Post

          Yet it is an integral part of the system itself that should worry Trump and his supporters the most.           In 2012, this "non-partisan" body selected PBS's Jim Lehrer, CNN's Candy Crowley and CBS's Bob Schieffer to host the debates. All three are unabashed leftists. Moreover, Crowley proved it with her outrageous "thumb on the scale" performance, backing Barack nObama's false assertion that he called Benghazi an act of terror right away. This despite the reality that Crowley's own news network reported the White House characterized Benghazi as a terror attack "for the first time" on Sept. 20, nine days later.

          And if you think the selection of leftist debate moderators in 2012 was an anomaly, think again. In 2008, the CPD selected PBS's Jim Lehrer, NBC's Tom Brokaw and CBS's Bob Schieffer as moderators. In 2004, it was Lehrer, Schieffer and ABC's Charles Gibson. In 2000, Lehrer moderated all three presidential debates. In 1996, there were only two presidential debates — both moderated by, you guessed it, Jim Lehrer. In 1992, Lehrer moderated two of the three debates, and ABC's Carol Simpson moderated the other. In 1988, two debates moderated by Lehrer and CNN's Bernard Shaw. In 1984, two debates moderated by ABC's Barbara Walters and former NBC newsman Edwin Newman. In 1980, two debates moderated by PBS's Bill Moyers and ABC's Howard K. Smith.

          It is virtually axiomatic the media will remain in liar-Hillary's corner over the remainder of the campaign. Yet if the RNC, and by extension the Republican Party itself, timidly abets another hijacking of the debate moderators, they may never recover.           Why is this the case? For 10 years prior to his candidacy announcement, Trump hosted his successful reality show "The Apprentice." For all those years, he controlled the script — what did and did not make it to air. It seems that Trump has yet to figure out that he has NO control over the script of his "Make America Great Again" reality show, other than controlling what he says. His unfiltered off-script ramblings are often tactless when not outright asinine, unlike the politically astute liar-Hillary Clinton, whose remarks are always cunning and calculated. Whether on stump speeches, or when he takes media bait, there is no filter between Trump's stream of consciousness and any live microphone (or social media feed) in his proximity. And he has yet to grasp the concept, "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging." Consequently, the endless cycle of his inane insults is the greatest obstacle to recruiting enough voters from #NeverTrump to #Neverliar-Clinton in order for him to win. Trump is, truly, his own worst enemy, and if he wins in November, it will be on liar-Clinton's plethora of weaknesses, not his strengths.

          Adding up the numbers, liar-Clinton has called for a tax increase of $1.3 trillion over 10 years as a means to support her political agenda of redistribution. Two of her priciest polices are an increase in paid family leave coverage of up to 12 weeks and her "College Compact" plan that would provide free community college tuition to students who work 10 hours a week. liar-Hillary claims that her plan of raising taxes on the rich will cover these expensive plans. But according to the American Action Forum, liar-Clinton's math comes up short by an estimated $2.2 trillion. In other words, liar-Clinton would not only significantly raise taxes, she would also substantially add to the ballooning national debt that currently stands at $19.4 trillion.

          Democrats like liar-Hillary Clinton firmly believe that the government is entitled to more of your money than you are. They believe they know how to spend it better. As, with all Marxian ideals, the needs and wants of the individual are inconsequential compared to the "needs" and goals of those in power.  -The Patriot Post

          Andrew McCarthy explains exactly what went down: "The cash payment, which was hidden from Congress, arrived in Iran the same day the American prisoners were released. ... nObama has long taken the view that the federal law making it a felony to provide material support to terrorism does not apply to the enormous aid and comfort he has provided to our Iranian enemy, the world's leading state sponsor of anti-American jihadist terror. He evidently had qualms, however, about laws denying Iran access to the U.S. financial system, which bar transactions with Iran in U.S. dollars. To skirt these, the State Department recruited the Swiss and Dutch governments into nObama's conspiracy. The equivalent of 400 million in U.S. dollars was transferred to their central banks in exchange for hard currency. The piles of euros and francs were then boxed up and flown to Tehran."

          nObama touted the Iran nuclear deal to the American people and the world saying he was preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, at the same time declaring that the sanctions which had been in place since the Islamic revolution were somehow not preventative enough. All through the negotiation process word spread as to how much money Iran would stand to gain from the lifting of the sanctions. Now Americans learn that nObama negotiated via paying a ransom to free Americans, which only proves to validate the Iranians' means of blackmail, and will only encourage the behavior. Giving the bully your lunch money doesn't stop the bully from demanding it again.

Despite recent setbacks, particularly in Syria, the Islamic State is on the move. Recall that in June, Barack nObama asserted, "Our mission is to destroy ISIL," and "we are making significant progress." He added, "And as a result, ISIL is under more pressure than ever before." In light of the spate of Islamist attacks around the globe, yes, he said that with a straight face.

          But according to a new report, government data reveals "a stunning three-fold increase in the number of places around the globe where ISIS is operating." The State Department reports the Islamic State was active in seven nations just two years ago, but today that number has risen to "18 countries where ISIS is fully operational," which doesn't include "six countries where they're taking root: Egypt, Indonesia, Mali, the Philippines, Somalia and Bangladesh."

          The question is, what took so long? And why the hesitation? As recently as February, the nObama administration expressed deep opposition to providing aerial support. As reported in The Daily Beast at the time, "In recent weeks, the U.S. military ... have pushed for more airstrikes and the deployment of elite troops, particularly in the city of Sirte. ... But those plans have since been put on the back burner. 'There is little to no appetite for that in this administration,' one defense official explained."

          It's refreshing to finally see ​some​ sort of anti-terrorism U.S. response in Libya, but keep in mind, none of this would even have been necessary had nObama and liar-Hillary Clinton not bungled Middle East policy by destabilizing Libya and abandoning Iraq. nObama & Co. say ISIL is on the run.           Of course, four months is a political eternity. Will this highly unprecedented and thus far unpredictable election year continue to surprise and confound? Or will recent electoral history and conventional wisdom hold sway confirming that this is liar-Clinton's election to lose? James Shott: The New York Times sees a renewal of Democrats' efforts to increase restrictions on guns. The newspaper says that after 20 years of holding back on the gun control initiative, "a string of mass shootings involving high-powered weapons, rising anxiety about domestic terrorism, and killings of and by police officers have emboldened Democrats. They say the shootings are intensifying support for gun control, elevating weapons policy to a top-tier issue, with particularly strong appeal to suburban female voters."

          However, when context is applied, it is substantially less damning. Considered as part of the roughly 320,000,000 total population of the United States, it represents just 0.0001%. That means each American has a one in 10,000 chance of dying from a gunshot each year. And, frankly, if you're not a gang-banger on a Democrat-run urban poverty plantations, your chances are far lower.

          In 2013, according to DrugWarFacts.org, which cites data from the CDC, motor vehicle deaths totaled 35,369, all homicides were 16,121, and in 2014, drug overdoses claimed 47,055 lives.

          Last week, we noted, "This year's [DNC] platform doesn't even bother to mention the words 'Second Amendment.' ... Drafters opted instead for the meaningless tripe about how 'gun ownership is a part of the fabric of many communities.' Fabric can be changed. Rights endowed by our Creator cannot."

          The actions of average Americans tell a story different from Democrats. Matt Vespa reports that women obtaining concealed carry permits increased at twice the rate of men from 2012 to 2016. And the Crime Prevention Research Center notes that the murder rate fell by16% between 2007 and 2015, all while gun sales have gone through the roof.

If it feels like listening to a broken record each time disappointing economic numbers come out, it's because, yes, you've heard this disappointment before. It appears to be the new normal under Barack nObama. "The U.S. economy expanded less than forecast in the second quarter after a weaker start to the year than previously estimated," Bloomberg reports. While surveyed economists predicted growth of an unimpressive 2.5%, it actually clocked in at a downright anemic 1.2% — and that followed just 0.8% growth in the first quarter, revised down from 1.1%. Furthermore, Bloomberg reports, "The new breakdown shows a more pronounced slowdown in the economy heading into 2016. The year-over-year growth rate cooled from 3.3 percent in last year's first quarter to 1.9 percent in the final three months of 2015, rather than the previous downshift from 2.9 percent to 2 percent."

          nObama's streak of sub-3% economic growth continues. He is the only president in U.S. history to never have annual growth over 3%. Naturally, he blames George W. Bush. But it was Democrats who sowed the seeds of the 2008 economic crisis.

          And with tepid growth like this it's no wonder liar-Hillary Clinton is so confused. In her coronation speech Thursday night, she at once lamented the pathetic economy and said nObama and loose lips-Biden don't get enough credit for saving it: "Too many people haven't had a pay raise since the crash. There's too much inequality. Too little social mobility. … Now, I don't think President nObama and Vice President loose lips-Biden get the credit they deserve for saving us from the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes. Our economy is so much stronger than when they took office. … But none of us can be satisfied with the status quo. … I've heard from so many of you who feel like the economy just isn't working. Some of you are frustrated — even furious. And you know what? You're right. It's not yet working the way it should."
