ky. earmarks

as long as we have got Mitch McConnell and Hal rodgers in Washington ,they are not going to give up their earmarks they might tell everyone they are. McConnells been in office 26 yrs and has steered millions on top of millions in pork projects. McConnell and Rodgers are the states worse.

when you have got the state broke, laying off its workers and then the Governor taking trips to Asia and most recent India and lately there favorite words are when we get out stimulas. according to one source john yarmonth (d) jefferson co. got around 9 billion for airport expansion for the vote on obamacare. they're building two new bridges in jefferson county across the Ohio at the cost of 4 billion , 264 million to tunnel under some property they have deem a historical site , 19 million for a mock tunnel and now they're talking about putting a toll on the 3 main bridges to pay for the new one . at one time they were talking about a 3 dollar toll. hows that for attracting jobs to the state. we have got over 1million dollars missing from one southern ky county ( its being investagated) and in one county 10 million dollars to build a bridge across a river , the bridge runs right into the side of a mountain ( they call it there own little bridge to no where) they finally opened it up to atv traffic.

now the state got stimulas money to build GREEN schools and then you hear of school superintendants making these hugh saleries and how about building a new high school with a state of the art football field including astro turf and jumbo-trons on each end of the field and i'm pretty sure this is not all of it.

we need to start at state level and clean house, vote all of them out and then make sure McConnell doesn't get re- elected

Flashback: When ‘Job Creation’ Involved ‘Universal Child Care’ and ‘Sitting Home and Eating Bon-Bons’Posted on November 16, 2010 at 9:21am by Jonathon M. Seidl Print » Email » Trevor Loudon over at NZ Patriot brings us this classic, possibly prophetic, 1997 clip from the National Jobs for All Coalition (which he cites as a “front for the Democratic Socialists of America”) conference. In the clip, panelist Heidi Hartmann talks about how people at the time were starting to talk about universal health care as well as universal child care. We are very familiar with the health care arguments, but what arguments were they using for universal child care?“…That in itself could be viewed as a job creation plan,” Hartmann said. In a nutshell the argument is jobs. But what comes before the ellipses is even more shocking. The “that” she’s referring to is this:“Whether you’re working or not you would have access to child care, you could use it to go to school, you could use it to sit home, eat bon-bons and watch TV, we don’t care. That in itself could be viewed as a job creation plan.”“Wouldn‘t that solve all of America’s problems?” Loudon asks.Comments (43)

UNHINGED LEFTIST Who Lunged at Rand Paul Is Paid Far Left Activist
Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, 5:47 AM
For the record…
The Unhinged Leftist Who Lunged at Rand Paul Is a Paid Activist

MoveOn.org contract employee Lauren Valle stalked and lunged at Rand Paul outside the final debate last night.

Valle, from Falmouth, Massachusetts, was tackled and stepped on by Paul supporters. (TPM)

The media will make this far left activist out to be a martyr today. We already know that.
It certainly was over the line to put a shoe on her shoulder or head.

But, Lauren knew exactly what she was doing.
She’s had plenty of practice. She’s a professional leftist activist.

Lauren was booked in May on felony charges. (LPSO)

Lauren protested oil companies in Louisiana during the BP oil spill. (Telegraph)

Luaren Valle was charged with the felony charges of Unauthorized Entry of a Critical Infrastructure and Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling in May.

Lauren vandalized a ship in May.

Harbor police talk to Greenpeace activists Scott Cardiff (R) and Lauren Valle (L) who are hanging from the bridge painting with their messages on the ship Harvey Explorer at an industrial port at Port Fourchon, Louisiana, May 24, 2010. The activists used oil from the U.S. Gulf of Mexico spill to paint the message “Arctic Next?” on the bridge of the ship, which is scheduled to depart for Alaska to support drilling operations in July. Moveon.org Leader Steals Media Spotlight At Rand Paul RallyMoveon.org, a pro-abortion liberal group that helped elect Barack Obama, is now running television ads in Kentucky for Jack Conway and sending their followers out to protest Rand Paul.Ironically the ad focuses on the “company Rand Paul keeps.” Well lets have a look at one of Jack Conway’s dear friends – protestor and Moveon.org leader Keith Rouda. At a recent event in northern Kentucky, featuring Congressmen Ron Paul and Senator Jim DeMint, the naive media (WLWT NBC) focused on Moveon.org activist Keith Rouda, see video.Keith Rouda is an advocate for Cap and Trade, socialized medicine (ObamaCare) and he’s a big fan of socialist Paul Krugman. So there you have it, Jack’s friend Keith is putting Kentucky first by supporting socialistic healthcare, socialistic economic policies and a crippling Cap and Tax bill that would kill Kentucky coal. But believe it or not, it gets better!Leftist Keith Rouda sat on the Board of Directors for Kindred Healthcare in 2001-2002. Why is Kindred Healthcare important? They’ve funneled money to Jack Conway’s campaign and this Democratic blogger tells you why. Also Jack Conway’s brother-in-law – Henry Gordinier – who is a former employee of BP and contributor to Barack Obama, just happens to be a Senior Director at Kindred Healthcare.Jack Conway, by pulling political stunts like this, continues to show the voters of Kentucky that career politicians are the problem in American politics!

GE

3135 Easton Turnpike

Fairfield, CT 06828

October 2010

2010 was a landmark year for health care in the United States and at our Company. At GE,we started

the year with a new health care plan for salaried employees in response to unsustainable cost

increases, the first new plan since 1989. At about $3 billion annually, you can understand how health

care costs impact GE'scompetitiveness.

While there are some things we can change, there are others that are outside of our control. Health

care costs in the U.S.have been increasing over the past several years at two-to-three times the rate of

inflation due to price increases, greater use of services, and inefficiencies in the system. GEhas

experienced similar results over the past decade and the challenge we face continues to build.

The new Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act adopted earlier this year provides health care

access to all Americans and it also expands coverage for you as outlined in the attached guide. This

law will be phased in over several years. New benefits like offering preventive care screenings as

recommended by the U.S.Preventive Services Task Force free of charge, extending coverage to

dependent children up to age 26 and removing lifetime maximums will cost GEmore. However, there is

much to learn about how the implementation will unfold. GEhas the right to pass these costs on to you

. in the form of higher contributions, but we've elected to absorb these additional costs this year as we

take time to understand the impacts.

During the past year, we hope you have taken a more active role managing your health and health

care. We have been making investments to help you by adding and expanding tools. These include:

• Expanded Health Coach hours to include 24/7 voluntary and confidential access to medical

professionals to help you make informed decisions like when to use the emergency room;

• A new online and mobile application, Health Answers, to give you better access to information

when you need it; and

• Free,easy-to-use, voluntary and confidential tools like the Health RiskQuestionnaire and

Lifestyle Coaching to help you understand your health and take steps to be healthier.

We know you want a good health care plan at a fair price. We share that goal, and are working hard

every day to provide access to high-quality health care, control costs and offer a competitive benefits

package. We want to thank you for your support during this unprecedented time of change.

Sincerely,

J~';h~vIv--

Susan G. Komen Donated Over $700,000 to Planned Parenthood in 2007
10-19-2010Categorized in: Business, Family, Health and FitnessShare66A new report from a Planned Parenthood watchdog finds chapters of the Komen Race for the Cure breast cancer group gave affiliates of the national abortion business over $700,000 last fiscal year. The enormous amount should be a red flag to pro-life advocates, one leading activist says.

Figures from STOPP International show Komen chapters giving $711,485 from April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006 to Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Jim Sedlak, a representative of the watchdog group says the numbers are concerning given than millions of pro-life Americans will participate in Komen events during the month.

Illinois Soldiers Wait for Ballots. Prisoners Get Hand Delivery.
10-19-2010Categorized in: Ethics, Government, PoliticsShare235Over 35 counties in Illinois missed the deadline to mail military ballots to our soldiers defending America. But in Chicago, county election officials have taken special steps to ensure that no inmates at the Cook County Jail are unable to cast a ballot.

The Chicago Board of Elections hand delivers ballots to the jail. They don’t even wait for the inmates to apply – they bring the applications with the ballots! Over 2,600 inmates have cast ballots so far – strikingly similiar to the 2,600 soldiers who will likely not recieve a ballot for the Nov 2 election.

Disgraceful does not begin to describe the Illinois Election system.

Government Prepares To Seize Private Pensions

piggy-bank.jpg

Massive wealth confiscation program would replace 401(k) system with Social Security-run ponzi scheme

The government is preparing to seize the private 401(k) pensions of millions of Americans while enforcing an additional 5 per cent payroll tax as part of a new bailout program that will empower the Social Security Administration to redistribute pension funds in a frightening example of big government gone wild.

Public pension plans have been so aggressively looted already by the government that cities and counties face a $574 billion funding gap, according to a CNBC report.

That black hole is set to be filled by a new proposal that will “fairly” distribute taxpayer-funded pensions to everyone, by confiscating the private wealth of millions of Americans. Its proponents express staggering arrogance in thinking that they can just steal money people have worked for decades to accrue as if it’s their own.

Obama promised not to hire lobbyists and not to raise taxes on people making less than $250,000 per year. He would post every bill online before he signed it and he promised to negotiate health care reform publicly -- those are all lies. Then after going on the biggest spending spree in American history, Obama turned around on a dime and talked about how important deficit reduction was to him. He lied about health care. You can go on and on with these examples. There's not an honest bone in Barack Obama's body and the American people deserve better than that from their President.2) For the nasty class warfare: Barack Obama must be unfamiliar with the seven deadly sins because never before has an administration so openly advocated envy. Successful Americans have been treated like villains and whole industries have been slimed for no other reason than it's politically convenient. Obama supporter Bill Maher perfectly captured the attitude when he wrote,The next rich person who publicly complains about being vilified by the Obama administration must be publicly vilified by the Obama administration.Trying to destroy innocent people for political reasons. Demonizing success. Turning Americans against each other. For all the talk of unity during his campaign, Barack Obama has worked obsessively to divide Americans since he got into office.3) For Obamacare: Everybody in D.C., Barack Obama included, knew the American people didn't want Obamacare. The polls showed that they hated it. Scott Brown won "Ted Kennedy's seat" by promising to vote against health care reform. There were angry townhalls, Tea Parties, and tens of millions of phone calls and emails spurred by that legislation.Yet, Obama helped push it through anyway, methodically lied about what the bill would do, and arrogantly claimed people would learn to like the bill in time. This bill will cause the deficit to explode, kill private insurance, pay for abortions with our tax dollars, create death panels, ration medical care, and destroy the quality of medical care in this country. Obamacare would be a bad idea at any point in our history, but creating a massive new entitlement program when America is on the verge of a debt-driven meltdown caused by entitlement programs has set a new standard for irresponsibility. Let us hope, God willing, that no other American President ever matches that standard.4) For putting our children so deep into debt: Barack Obama's stimulus plan cost more than the race to the moon, the Louisiana Purchase, and the Marshall Plan -- in real dollars -- and it did nothing for the economy. Obamacare is a massive new entitlement program that we cannot afford. His 10 year budget? It will leave America with "more debt than has been accumulated by all previous Presidents in American history combined."As he did all that, Obama was in public saying things like this,I refuse to leave our children with a debt they cannot repay, and that means taking responsibility right now, in this administration, for getting our spending under control.Have you no shame, Barack Obama?5) For the abuse of power: Obama appointed a staggering number of czars to get around the congressional confirmation process. He spent tens of billions in taxpayer dollars and broke legally binding contracts to give his union pals a fat pay-off from the auto industry. He issued a creepy, dictatorial ultimatum to BP demanding that it give the government 20 billion dollars just because he said so. Obama took over the census process so it could be twisted to help the Democrats. Barack Obama is not a man who respects democracy, the Constitution, the American people, or the rule of law and he should be trusted even less than you should trust most politicians, which is to say, not at all.6) For the racial polarization of America: The unspoken promise behind Barack Obama's campaign was that his election would enable America to finally achieve its long held dream of being a post-racial nation. Yet, Obama's election has led to a flurry of finger pointing, grievance mongering, and race based accusations. Some of that has come from Obama's own administration. Eric Holder said America is a "nation of cowards" on race. Barack Obama even publicly sided with his friend Henry Louis Gates based on reasoning that really didn't go much deeper than Gates wass black and the cop was white; so the cop must be racist. That being said, Obama has allowed his followers to do most of the dirty work. In other words, Mr. Post Racial Healer is happy to see anyone who disagrees with him smeared as a racist as long as he gets to keep his hands clean. If you don't believe that, ask yourself, "What has Barack Obama done to stop the tidal wave of false accusations of racism that have been made in his defense?" Absolutely nothing of significance. For that vile and cynical tactic, Barack Obama should personally apologize to the staggering number of Americans who have been falsely called racists on his behalf.7) For the arrogance: The good news about being President is that it doesn't seem to have gotten in the way of Barack Obama's golf game. Nor his vacations. Moreover, despite the fact that Obama seems to be completely baffled by the fundamentals of governing, it hasn't stopped him from saying things like,But I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking. Then there's this story, which is turning out to be one of my personal favorites, given how the election seems to be shaping up,Rep. Marion Berry, D-Ark., fears that these midterm elections are going to go the way of the 1994 midterms, when Democrats lost control of the House after a failed health care reform effort. But, Berry told the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, the White House does not share his concerns.“They just don’t seem to give it any credibility at all,” Berry said. “They just kept telling us how good it was going to be. The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”At what point does Barack Obama actually accomplish something not just worthy of the Nobel Prize he was given, but of any worth at all?

I'm holding on your rope

And I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound

Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around and say

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late. -- Apologize, OneRepublic

Barack Obama is a petty little man whose grandiose sense of self importance has always far outstripped his abilities and accomplishments. Putting a man such as that in the most important job on the planet is like taking a five year old off an airplane ride at a carnival and putting him at the control of a jet airplane in mid-flight.

Obama, who was so far over his head that he couldn't see the surface from day one, took over the country at a crucial time and then boldly strode forth and made the situation dramatically worse. His whole presidency, from start to finish, has been the living embodiment of that famous Talleyrand quote:

They have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.
The rest of America, however, has learned quite a bit about Obama, which is why his approval rating has fallen like a stockbroker on Black Friday. At this point, not only should Barack Obama change course, he should apologize for what he's done wrong:

1) For lying to the American people: Calling a politician a liar is a bit like accusing a fish of being fond of water, but even amongst politicians, Barack Obama is a particularly hamfisted and prolific liar. Obama's strategy is simple: He promises everything to everybody and then points the finger elsewhere when people are inevitably disappointed. This has led to some jaw dropping whoppers than would even make Bill Clinton say, "Wow, that guy is a shameless liar."

AboutContactArchivesRSSColumnsPhotos Michelle Malkin Out: Palin’s a McCarthyite — In: Palin’s the Anti-ChristBy Doug Powers • September 18, 2010 03:09 PM **Written by Doug PowersThe AFL-CIO organized a protest of Sarah Palin’s appearance in Louisville, Kentucky this week, and they helped keep it classy. I guess calling Palin the second coming of Joe McCarthy wasn’t moving votes towards Democrats fast enough, so now it’s being ratcheted up a notch to “anti-Christ.”Here’s the sign held by a protester named Doris Beeler:Can you believe that? I know… everything’s spelled correctly. We should expect nothing less from someone involved in higher education (the University of Louisville should be beaming with pride at the intelligence of members of their resident advisory council).Click the pic to roll tape. The moonbat fun starts at about 1:10…Beeler also apparently has (or had) a beef with the Social Security Administration. Can somebody please tell her Palin doesn’t work for the SSA? Maybe it’s all a big misunderstanding.

another 50 million

President Obama calls his latest attempt to revive the economy a "Plan to Renew and Expand America's Roads, Railways and Runways." I'm calling it "The Mother of all Big Dig Boondoggles." Like the infamous "Big Dig" highway spending project in Boston, this latest White House infrastructure spending binge guarantees only two results: Taxpayers lose; unions win.The plan would add at least $50 billion more to the nearly $230 billion already allocated in the original trillion-dollar stimulus law for infrastructure. Less than one-third of that infrastructure stimulus money has been spent, but the urgency to pile on has increased exponentially as the midterm elections approach and unemployment hovers near 10 percent. So, the president says he wants to "put people back to work" through a new "upfront investment" in surface transportation, airports and the air-traffic control system paid for by repealing tax incentives for the oil and gas industries -- followed by massive, unpaid-for expenditures on pie-in-the-sky high-speed rail, "environmental sustainability" and "livability," whatever that means.Obama spoke emotionally at an AFL-CIO rally on Labor Day about unemployed construction workers. A "lot of those folks, they had lost their jobs in manufacturing and went into construction; now they've lost their jobs again," he said. "It doesn't do anybody any good when so many hardworking Americans have been idled for months, even years, at a time when there is so much of America that needs rebuilding."But here's the rub: Not all workers are equal in Obama's eyes. And most of them will remain "idled" by the Democrats' own design. The key is E.O. 13502, a union-friendly executive order signed by Obama in his first weeks in office, which essentially forces contractors who bid on large-scale public construction projects worth $25 million or more to submit to union representation for its employees. The blunt instrument used to give unions a leg up is the "project labor agreement (PLA)," which in theory sets reasonable pre-work terms and conditions -- but in practice, requires contractors to hand over exclusive bargaining control; to pay inflated, above-market wages and benefits; and to fork over dues money and pension funding to corrupt, cash-starved labor organizations. These anti-competitive agreements undermine a fair bidding process on projects that locked-out, nonunion laborers are funding with their own tax dollars. And these PLAs benefit the privileged few at the expense of the vast majority: In the construction industry, 85 percent of the workforce is nonunion by choice.12Full ArticleNext »Michelle Malkin

$1.5 million grant to teach U of L students how to ease pain, comfort dyingBy Laura Ungar • lungar@courier-journal.com • September 8, 2010Comments (1) Recommend Print this page E-mail this article ShareDel.icio.us Facebook Digg Reddit NewsvineBuzz up!Twitter FarkIt Type Size A A A The National Institutes of Health has awarded a grant of $1.5 million to a team from the University of Louisville to create a palliative care education program to teach future doctors, nurses and social workers to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional and psychological needs of cancer patients.A team from the schools of medicine, nursing and social work — along with the clinical pastoral education program at three Louisville hospitals — are working together on the project. Palliative care involves end-of-life, hospice care but also alleviation of symptoms and attention to the various needs of seriously ill patients.Experts say the program will be one of less than a handful of palliative education efforts in the nation that ties together various disciplines. University officials said it will be the first such program that is required for students in the various schools.“No one has ever tried this before,” Dr. Mark P. Pfeifer, chief medical officer at U of L Healthcare and principal investigator on the grant, said at a press conference Wednesday morning.Work related to the project will begin immediately, with the program starting for students next year. Officials said the students from the various schools will work together and learn about each other’s roles.“We envision teaching tools that might include clinical rotations, self-study modules, reflective writing and the standardized patient program, in which patient care situations are simulated with real people,” said Marcia Hern, dean of the U of L School of Nursing. “From a nursing perspective we are tremendously excited about the promise of this interdisciplinary program. Nursing has a strong tradition of holistic care and this fits right in with that time-honored practice.”Experts said health care professionals are increasingly learning about palliative care, but not about one another’s roles in caring for patients.“Education tends to be siloed. There’s little cross-talk among the disciplines,” said Dr. David Weissman, director of the End of Life/Palliative Education Resource Center in Wisconsin and one of the nation’s foremost experts on palliative care education. “Breaking down those barriers is really a good thing.…When dealing with complex problems, all people have a role to play.”U of L officials said the grant will help the community deal with one of its largest health problems — cancer. Kentucky has the highest cancer mortality rate in the nation.“The relevance of this grant is in part the tremendous burden that cancer represents to the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Dr. Larry N. Cook, executive vice president for health affairs at U of L’s Health Sciences Center. The grant “positions the health sciences center as a leader in interdisciplinary education in a high-profile area.”Pfeifer said there’s tremendous value in treating the patient’s physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs — especially when all hope of a cure is lost.“Palliative care meets patients where they are,” Pfeifer said. “It does not put science upon them.”Reporter Laura Ungar can be reached at (502) 582-7190.1Comments >>Read and share your thoughts on this story.Related Topics■Places - Louisville, KY, University of Louisville■Health - Medicine, Nursing, Palliative CareContextual linking provided by TopixAds by Pulse 360 Get Listed HereElizabethtown TODAY: iPads for $123.89Alert: iPads being auctioned for deep discounts. AboutContactArchivesRSSColumnsPhotos Michelle Malkin Voter rolls: We see dead people. Does the DOJ?By Michelle Malkin • September 7, 2010 09:27 AMPhotoshop: Conservative ArtsAmerica’s voter rolls are a mess. But you can’t count on the Department of Social Justice and corruptocrat Attorney General Eric Holder to clean them up. It’s another job the feds won’t do. Time for ordinary citizens to step up to the plate. Thanks to a provision in federal law, you can pick up the slack.Former DOJ attorney/whistleblower J. Christian Adams fills you in at Pajamas Media:In November 2009, political appointee Julie Fernandes told the entire assembled DOJ Voting Section that the Obama administration would not enforce the list maintenance provisions of Section 8. Section 8 “doesn’t have anything to do with increasing minority turnout,” Fernandes said. “We don’t have any interest in enforcing that part of the law.” End of story. At the same time, Fernandes stressed that the DOJ would vigorously enforce the welfare agency registration provisions of Section 7.She made these lawless instructions in front of me and dozens of other shocked Voting Section lawyers. The DOJ has never once denied that Fernandes gave these instructions, nor has the DOJ countermanded them. This lawless policy couldn’t have a partisan motivation, could it?Now, Americans are left to clean up the voter rolls on their own. Thankfully, Motor Voter provides a private right of action — that means private citizens can bring lawsuits against states and voter registrars who are allowing dead and ineligible voters to taint the voter rolls.Americans are used to getting the job done themselves. Reliance on government tends to disappoint.Using this private right of action, I have given sixteen states the legal notice required to alert them that they have violated Section 8 of Motor Voter. I am working with private citizens across the nation to help ensure that the elections in November aren’t plagued by ineligible voters……Every two years, states must report to the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) information about their voter rolls. The latest report is troubling. South Dakota, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky and Indiana report in excess of a dozen counties with more registered voters than living people old enough to vote. Having more voters than living humans tells you something is wrong. In West Virginia, one county reported 113% of the voting age population was registered to vote. Baltimore, Maryland, reported 104% of voting age citizens on the rolls. Iowa and North Carolina also reported counties with more voters than living citizens of voting age.All of these states received a notice letter.Ponce de Leon wasted his time looking for the fountain of youth in Florida — he should have gone to Maryland, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Oregon, or Tennessee. These states report that they didn’t remove a single dead voter from 2006 to 2008. Some of the dead registered voters were resurrected on election day and cast ballots. These states also received a notice letter.Much more at Election Law Center.

Congressman: Is Kenyan Constitution Con a Criminal Offense?Posted on September 2, 2010 by Ben JohnsonThe Washington Times posted a hard-hitting expose last night by Rep Chris Smith, R-NJ, focusing on how Barack Obama helped enact Kenya’s new pro-abortion, pro-Sharia constitution. So did you; Obama lobbied for the new constitution with your money. Rep. Smith has noted this kind of advocacy is undoubtedly offensive and may be illegal. He writes that Obama, through the U.S. Agency for International Development:committed more than $23 million. The list includes eight grants totaling nearly $450,000 explicitly to obtain a total of more than 100,000 “yes” votes in the referendum…The USAID IG has not yet finished his investigation into these obvious violations of U.S. law. The report on these USAID-funded activities will be in addition to the report issued by the Department of State‘s inspector general tasked with investigating whether State Department employees participated in prohibited activities. Unfortunately, the State Department IG’s conclusion contradicted his own report indicating that U.S. officials urged Kenyans to vote in favor of the constitution…Even if U.S. money was not used to draft and advocate specifically for the abortion provisions – and it is quite possible that it was – advocacy for the constitution overall is a violation of this restriction. We can count on the Obama administration to produce an accurate report on this matter around the same time O.J. Simpson finds the real killer. The facts will be left for Congressional Republicans to investigate next year, if they succeed in retaking one or both houses. They have a large and growing number of targets to investigate, from using your money to support the Kenyan constitution, to offering a job to Joe Sestak, to using your money (notice a common thread) for government-funded propaganda. This kind of potentially illegal behavior on behalf of the culture of death demands a response.

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedianJon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposalto require veterans carry private health insurance to cover theestimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government oftreatment for injuries to military personnel received during theirtours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzledby the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal."Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody madethese guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute..""I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country,"Obama continued "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the countryfacing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patrioticthing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit.. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader?REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT...."Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and acceptedthe risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?"If he thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard servicemember or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.. If you or a family member is or hasserved their country please pass this to them. Please pass this to everyone. I'm guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the USwill agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history. egg recall

August 31, 2010Dear Friend of Liberty,Power-hungry statists are never satisfied. Now they’re attempting to use a massive egg recall to shove S. 510, the so-called "Food Safety Modernization Act," down our throats.S. 510, through a patchwork of rules and regulations on the food "industry," will throw America’s heartland under the government-subsidized corporatist bus as it crushes local and community producers of healthy food.Click here to contact your senators today to tell them to oppose S.510!Like Cap and Tax, which will guarantee higher energy bills during these rough economic times, S. 510 will further drive up the costs of living by adding more layers of bureaucracy on food production – ensuring you pay more to meet an essential need.Congress certainly won’t be the one tightening its belt. Section 401 of S. 510 authorizes nearly $1 billion to grow the FDA’s reach and calls for almost 4,000 new bureaucrats to be hired in fiscal year 2010 alone. This onerous new law will apply harshly to reputable food producers like the independent family farm, where the free market works every day to provide the public with healthy choices.Meanwhile, Big Agriculture will continue to use its well-entrenched connections to make sure it escapes serious scrutiny. The statists have worked to replace "credible evidence" with "reasonable probability" in the U.S. Code, giving the FDA power to invade, quarantine, or shut down private property in search of any foodborne illness. They also changed "presents a threat of serious adverse health consequences or death to humans or animals" to "is adulterated or misbranded." What exactly constitutes adulterated? That glass of raw milk? An FDA bureaucrat will decide. It gets worse. The bill also grants blanket authority for federal agencies to impose international guidelines and standards on domestic food producers - giving agencies authority to harmonize all American food production and processes in line with the globalist Codex. It should be noted that Senators Tom Harkin (D-IA), Mike Enzi (R-WY), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Judd Gregg (R-NH), Chris Dodd (D-CT), and Richard Burr (R-NC) coordinated to reach a "bipartisan" agreement to forge ahead with the otherwise stalled bill.If you are a constituent of any of these senators, they especially need to hear from you.Big Brother and Big Agriculture are combating the truly modern way to improve food safety by targeting the rapidly growing number of food producers who, through the free market, provide diversity and give us choices. The establishment is pushing for more consolidation and is looking to control your food choices to make it happen. Don’t stomach another round of tyranny. Contact your senators today.
